About the Role

This is a role where you’ll really see the difference you make.

As Educational Partnerships Manager, you’ll work across Yorkshire, building partnerships with schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups—particularly in areas where opportunities are hardest to come by.

You’ll be right in the mix: planning events, delivering programmes, supporting volunteers and connecting with school staff to make sure young people have access to our inspiring enterprise and financial education experiences.

You’ll be a key driver of our Inspiring Futures programme—helping young people break down barriers and imagine bigger futures.

Key Responsibilities

Job Purpose

· To help make SFM the destination for media as the voice for food in schools

· To help increase media coverage for our work across all platforms (print, TV/Radio, digital)

· To develop and maintain our vibrant social media presence

Key Tasks include

· Writing and reviewing editorial, case study and blog content to maintain SFM’s voice

· Work with our Web Developer to maintain the School Food Matters website

· Diary planning to make best use of events and media moments to highlight our work in the media

· Helping to maintain up-to-date and accurate records of media contacts on Airtable

· Produce, edit and co-ordinate video and visual content across SFM’s projects

· Working closely with the Chief Executive on media campaigns

· Ensuring that we maintain a vibrant social media presence (BlueSky, Linkedin, Instagram, and Facebook)

· Managing and maintaining our photo library (Google photos)

· Ensure website is up to date by liaising with project teams for new content

· Exceptional oral and written communication skills in fluent spoken and written English, with strong attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data and policies into accessible language and engaging stories and communication materials

· An eye for design and strong grasp of branding, with experience creating visuals using tools like Canva

· Comfortable using content management systems (CMS) to publish and manage web content — we use Drupal

Research Officer

We’re looking for TWO motivated and detail-oriented Research Officers to support the Association’s research funding activities and award portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a bold and ambitious research strategy that puts stroke survivors at the centre.

Position: CE376 Research officer (two posts)

Location: Home-based, UK, Nationwide. However, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £34,400 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,275 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

The Role

Working closely with a friendly and knowledgeable team, you’ll manage the logistics of research funding calls, support peer review and governance processes, and ensure accurate tracking of award progress and impact.

You’ll be the first point of contact for funded researchers and play a key role in making research accessible and visible to wider audiences.

The role includes opportunities to work with the Involvement Lead and Communications Lead, developing skills in research impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project management. You’ll also work closely with teams across the organisation to amplify the impact of stroke research in policy and practice.

About You

You will:

• Be educated to degree level in a science, health, social science or related discipline, or have equivalent research experience.

The role

Evidence and Evaluation Officers are key to generating and synthesising evidence on what works and developing resources to support its translation to policy makers, commissioners and practitioners.

The primary focus of the role is contributing to the Strengthening Families, Supporting Children programme – a flagship initiative involving three large-scale comprehensive evaluations of distinct social work practice models. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to high-impact evaluations that will directly inform national policy. About you

The role requires a strong mix of research and broader professional skills, including communication skills, initiative, and the ability to engage with a wide range of audiences. You will also need a master's degree in social science, social policy, public health, health services, or another related field, or relevant experience equivalent to a master's qualification.

You will have experience of:

• Conducting implementation and process evaluations and delivering outputs to time and to high quality
• Conducting research in sensitive and complex settings, including children’s social care
• Collecting data from children, young people, and families who may be vulnerable
• Analysing quantitative data, including survey and administrative data
• Coding qualitative data using NVivo and familiarity with different qualitative analytical methods
• Writing clear, concise, and comprehensive research reports.

Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is the leading UK charity supporting people affected by pulmonary fibrosis – a serious, life-limiting lung condition. We’re growing fast, guided by an ambitious five-year strategy and a clear vision: a future where everyone with pulmonary fibrosis has access to the care, support and hope they deserve.

We’re now seeking a proactive and talented Senior Press Officer to join our Communications Team and help position Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis as the authoritative voice on pulmonary fibrosis - supporting our campaigns, influencing health policy, and ensuring patients and their families are heard in the media. You will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of a proactive and responsive press and media strategy.

You will craft compelling press releases, source and publish emotive case studies and news stories that secure impactful media coverage to inform, inspire and drive change. About SOFT UK

SOFT UK is a national charity supporting families affected by Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome) and Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome). We provide emotional support, information, advocacy, and community connections to ensure no family faces this journey alone.

Purpose of the Role

The Regional Engagement Officer (REO) for Northern Ireland will build and strengthen SOFT UK’s presence in the region. This includes supporting families, developing local community networks, enhancing relationships with healthcare professionals, and coordinating volunteer and fundraising activities to reduce isolation and improve support access for families affected by Trisomy 13 and 18.

Key Responsibilities

1. Community Engagement and Support

• Build meaningful relationships with families affected by Trisomy 13 and 18 across Northern Ireland.
• Develop and facilitate local support meetings, coffee mornings, and family gatherings.
• Provide emotional support, signposting, and information in line with SOFT UK’s values and safeguarding policies.

About the role

We are looking for a creative and proactive Communications Officer to join our small but dynamic Brand and Communications Team. This role requires a basic DBS/PGV check. Our team plays a key role in supporting the work of Volunteering Matters across the UK, ensuring that the impact of our projects, staff, and volunteers is shared widely with both internal and external audiences. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys storytelling, engaging with diverse audiences, and amplifying the voices of communities and volunteers. 

A core focus of this role will be getting to know the incredible work happening across the UK, collecting updates from our projects, and sharing these stories with key stakeholders. As part of our friendly team, you will also have a specific focus on supporting internal communications and content creation to ensure our messaging is clear, inspiring, and reflective of our mission. Our volunteers and the people we support are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for someone who shares our strong commitment to these values. A belief in the power of communities and a desire to champion volunteers of all ages and backgrounds is essential for this role. 

Key tasks include:

• Support the development and execution of a comprehensive internal communications strategy that drives colleague engagement and strengthens a unified organisational culture aligned with strategic objectives. 

• Develop and disseminate impactful, timely, and relevant internal communications content that resonates with colleagues across the organisation. 

• Provide operational and administrative support to the Brand and Communications Team to enhance our efficiency and reach. 

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications efforts through rigorous analysis of feedback, metrics, and data insights, leveraging findings to refine and optimise strategies at a national level. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all internal communications initiatives reflect and reinforce the organisation’s core values, mission, and strategic vision. 

• Provide guidance, training and support to various departments in crafting effective internal communications materials, ensuring consistency in tone, style and branding.

• Create inspiring and straightforward stories with a focus on powerful imagery and video content. 

• Work closely with communications colleagues in the #iWill Movement to champion youth social action.

The AI Opportunity Fund:

The AI Opportunity Fund, led by the Centre for Public Impact with support from Google . org, is currently a  €16 million initiative aimed at empowering underserved workers across Europe with essential AI skills. The programme has selected 73 organisations from hundreds of applications to provide tailored AI training to at least 20,000 workers across 24 European countries. These organisations focus on diverse communities, including rural job seekers, underemployed women, and public sector workers, aiming to bridge the digital divide and promote economic resilience. The initiative underscores AI's potential to drive social mobility and equitable growth across the continent. We are also hoping to scale our work in this area in the future. 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Grants Programme Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the AI Opportunity Fund. This role is responsible for the operational leadership of the programme, ensuring that it is planned and executed effectively on time, on budget and within scope. A key focus of the role is ensuring that the grant-giving component of the programme is designed and stewarded diligently.

This is a middle management role that is primarily operational with some elements of strategic leadership. It requires strong project management skills, good grant-making practice and the ability to manage relationships with diverse partners.  We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with considerable scope and complexity; and who embraces the challenges and opportunities of a startup environment where learning, adaptability, and building the plane as we fly it are central!

Responsibilities and Competencies:

Programme Development and Delivery

• Lead on shaping the design and execution of the AI Opportunity Fund utilising appropriate project management frameworks.

• Coordinate high quality project deliverables including implementing an AI training programme at scale and convening peer learning and knowledge sharing workshops. 

• Collaborate closely with Finance and Senior Leadership to manage and monitor the programme budget and expenditure.

• Identify, escalate and contribute to addressing programmatic risks to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and donor requirements.

Grant Making and Management

• Lead the design and implementation of the AI Opportunity Fund grant making function, embedding good grant making practice whilst adhering to donor expectations. 

• Develop and implement robust grant-making systems, processes and structures to successfully execute each stage of the grant lifecycle. 

• Provide excellent stewardship of a large portfolio of grants, providing technical support and effectively managing escalated issues to ensure the programme achieves its strategic objectives.

• Build the capacity of the wider AI Opportunity Fund team in grant making skills and capabilities. 

• Manage and coach the Grants Officer, ensuring they deliver their grants administration responsibilities effectively. 

Partnerships and Stakeholder Management

• Provide excellent donor stewardship of Google . org, securing their confidence in CPIE as a thought and delivery partner. 

• Cultivate, maintain and oversee strong relationships with wider stakeholders on the programme including service providers and evaluation partners.

• Support senior leadership to position the programme strategically internally and externally in order to advance CPIE’s reputation and offer. 

Monitoring, Evaluation  and Learning

• Ensure that CPIE prepares and submits accurate, timely and high quality programme and grant reports to Google, CPI’s Board and other key audiences.

• Collaborate closely with the Communications Team, Senior Leadership and external providers to ensure robust impact measurement of the AI Opportunity Fund.

• Identify and leverage opportunities to share insights from the AI Opportunity Fund to a range of stakeholders including broader CPI teams, wider civil society and current and potential clients.

• Embed a culture of learning and reflexivity in the team, utilising insights from the Programme to shape project management in an iterative way. 

 DEIB & Collaborative Working

• Actively contribute to a diverse, equitable, inclusive and belonging (DEIB) culture by embracing different perspectives and fostering an environment of respect.

• Dedicate time to continuous learning about DEIB and how it informs our mission, and commit to disrupting white supremacy in the workplace.

• Demonstrate empathy for government and the communities they serve to advance DEIB within systems that government influences

• Embed DEIB within the AI Opportunity Fund design approach and team.

Skills & Qualifications:

Essential

• Significant project management knowledge and experience, with demonstrable application of project management methodologies and frameworks.

• Proven grant making experience including designing, developing, implementing and monitoring sizable portfolios, and maintaining good grant making practice.

• Proven experience of identifying, assessing, prioritising, and managing risks when executing programmes.

• Proven experience of building productive relationships with external parties, including in convening stakeholders for  learning or wider objectives.

• Intercultural competence, experience of managing high performing teams. and proven commitment to advancing DEIB.

Desirable

• A recognised project management qualification e.g. PRINCE2, Agile Certifications etc.

• Experience of successfully delivering complex contracts for high value donors/clients e.g. third party grant programmes.

• Experience or understanding of AI or related technologies.

About the Role

As Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer, you will support the design and implementation of evidenced-based projects. This will enable the organisation to deliver high quality programmes, monitoring and evaluating impact and conducting data analysis, playing an essential role in ensuring accountability and improving information management and data quality.

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include

· Supporting the regional Programmes and Partnerships Advisors, International teams, and partners throughout the project cycle, to ensure that MEL activities and requirements are fully integrated into project and programme plans and budgets.

· Supporting the Programme Design and Impact Advisor (PDIA) to ensure that funded projects are effectively and efficiently monitored and evaluated and that learnings are captured, understood, shared and embedded into future work.

· Supporting the implementation of, and conducting regular reviews into, the International Results Framework and associated MEL tools.

· Supporting the preparation and review of internal reports in collaboration with programme staff, ensuring high-quality reporting, and that learning is captured and utilised.

· Strengthening monitoring, evaluation, feedback, and learning practices across the UK and international teams, as well as partners, through training, workshops, webinars, etc.

About You

We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level or has the equivalent in experience.

You will also have:

· Demonstrable skills in monitoring, evaluation, feedback, and learning methods; including knowledge of best practices and experience with M&E frameworks, feedback, and learning processes.

· Significant knowledge or experience of conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

· Proven experience of developing MEL training and mentoring approaches, designing and facilitating participatory capacity development activities targeted to non-expert audiences.

· A practical understanding of the principal evaluation methodologies, and data collection and analysis techniques.

· Competent IT skills, including MS Office

· Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor approach for a wide range of audiences.

Coventry Women’s Partnership (CWP) is looking for a Policy, Voice, and Influence Lead to support our 2-year place-based systems change programme, funded by the Smallwood Trust. The programme aims to reduce gendered poverty in Coventry by tackling the systemic barriers faced in securing a safe home. This work will focus on understanding and transforming housing systems. Seeking to and improve outcomes for women experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, and multiple disadvantage.

CWP is partnership made up of Central England Law Centre, Coventry Haven Women’s Aid, CRASAC, FWT and Kairos. The contract will be with Kairos, but you will provide support across all partners.

· The Policy, Voice and Influence Lead (PVIL) will play a pivotal role in driving forward the Coventry Women’s Partnership’s (CWP) systems change agenda to improve housing and homelessness options for women to reduce gendered poverty.

· You will be confident in taking the lead in this work while remaining in regular communication and collaboration with the partnership.

· You will help us analyse the systems, policies, practices and strategy around housing for women and their impact on poverty and create a delivery programme to influence and collaborate with stakeholders for change.

· Your attitude will be pragmatic and ‘can do’ as you carve a realistic path between confidence and caution when planning projects and delivery.

· Integral to this work will be drawing on members’ experience and expertise and the voices of women with lived experience (supported by a Women’s Engagement & Participation Coordinator) to ensure the partnership’s activities are delivered on time and to budget.
