Key responsibilities:

• Work with the Head of Communications to develop and deliver content, media moments and campaigns that help raise awareness of our cause and achieve our wider strategic goals.

• Work closely with colleagues, school chefs and teachers to unearth compelling content that will connect with key audiences.

• Identify, create and secure opportunities for coverage of our charity’s mission in target publications and platforms.

• Create and deliver communications plans and assets.

• Deal with reactive media queries to tight deadlines, overseeing preparation of briefs and Q&As.

• Oversee the ongoing development of our website and work to improve user experience. 

• Evaluate the success of campaigns, setting and tracking key metrics, feeding learnings back into future work in a cycle of continuous improvement.

• Monitor and control spending against delegated budget, clearing any anticipated variance with the Head of Communications in advance.

• Develop and deliver a patron and ambassador strategy.

• Oversee content creation for our online platforms, resources and marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and appropriate audience targeting.

• Ensure any data collection via our website or other platforms is compliant with GDPR and any related or superseding legislation.

• Line manage and mentor the Communications Officer and Social Media Officer, with a commitment to ensuring their development.

Skills & experience:

• 3+ years prior experience in a similar role.

• You have interest and belief in our mission to improve kids’ health through improving food and food education in schools.

• You are organised, methodical, strong on detail, and able to map out deadlines and plan ahead.

• Experience of line management in a hybrid working environment. You must be committed to developing the team.

• You have proven success designing and delivering communications plans and campaigns.

• You have experience successfully pitching stories and/or collaborations to media, journalists and influencers.

• You understand how to create engaging content - both written and visual.

• You spot opportunities for coverage and know how to make them happen.

• You’re up to date on media and communications trends and able to stay ahead of the curve.

• You’re capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

About the role

This is a hands-on, people-focused role at the heart of our programme delivery. As Programme Manager, you’ll work closely with communities, colleagues, volunteers, and partners to co-create and deliver meaningful programmes that centre on women’s voices and lived experience.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of projects — from design and facilitation through to coordination, evaluation, and reporting. The role involves a high level of collaboration across departments and with external partners, as well as ongoing work with participants and volunteers to ensure our programmes are inclusive, responsive, and impactful.

You’ll be at the forefront of delivery: holding safe, welcoming spaces; supporting others to take on facilitation roles; and helping build confidence and leadership among women involved in our work. At the same time, you’ll ensure strong systems, clear communication, and smooth operations across every stage of a programme — including the coordination of all logistics, administration, and communications needed to make programme delivery run effectively. As the work is people-focused and often deeply personal, you’ll need to feel confident navigating sensitive conversations, responding to complex situations with care, and creating space for trust and honesty.

Key responsibilities

Programme & Project leadership

· Support & lead on the design, development and delivery of new and existing programmes and events aligned with the charity’s strategic objectives

· Work closely with Head of Programmes and other departments to translate strategy into bold, creative actions that centre women's voices and lived experience

· Work closely with Head of Programmes and other departments to embed co-production principles across all programme initiatives/ co-produce initiatives with participants and stakeholders, ensuring relevance and impact.

· Initiate and conduct research into topics including public health, gender inequality, and women’s health to inform and inspire programme development.

· Support with the design and management of frameworks for monitoring and evaluating programme outcomes, using tools such as Theory of Change and wellbeing indicators (e.g., WEMWBS).

· Gather and analyse data and feedback (qualitative and quantitative) from all stakeholders to inform adaptive programme delivery and report to funders.

Marketing & Communications

· Work with Head of Programmes and Marketing teams to highlight the success and stories emerging from programme work.

· Ensure feedback and participant quotes are used meaningfully to build visibility and engagement.

People Management

· Line manage staff, volunteers and project facilitators, providing clear expectations, supportive supervision, and development opportunities.

Funding & Finance

· Develop and monitor programme budgets and work with the Head of Programmes to report against spend.

· Manage relationships with funders and corporate partners, reporting on outcomes and impact.

Policy, Safeguarding & Organisational Development

• Be an active contributor to the charity’s safeguarding team, playing a role in creating safe, inclusive spaces for all participants and staff.
• Support the implementation of all organisational policies — not only by adhering to them but by actively identifying areas for improvement, sharing feedback, and contributing to policy development.
• Stay up to date with best practice in safeguarding, boundaries, mental health support, and inclusive, trauma-informed practice, and help ensure these are embedded in programme delivery and team culture.

Data Protection, administration and programme coordination

• Oversee the secure collection and storage of data, ensuring full compliance with GDPR.
• Implement and manage CRM systems relevant to programme delivery.
• Ensure the smooth, effective and compliant delivery of all programmes, activities, and events, with a strong focus on quality, coordination, and attention to detail.
• Act as a key contact for programme/project enquiries and coordinate logistics such as booking facilitators, venues, equipment, and refreshments.
• Liaise with participants, facilitators, and volunteers before, during and after programme delivery to ensure a seamless and supportive experience.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and digital documentation — including EDI monitoring forms, feedback, and volunteer information — is completed, stored securely, and remains compliant with GDPR and organisational standards.
• Manage relationships with external facilitators, including onboarding, contracts, payment processing, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate across departments (e.g. marketing, community engagement, operations) to ensure strong internal communication and the effective promotion and delivery of all programmes.
• Maintain accurate programme records, track progress against plans, and ensure that systems are in place for smooth programme operations.

• Ensure all programmes are inclusive and reflect the diversity of the communities we work with.
• Regularly review EDI data and work with the team to remove barriers to participation.

About you

As the Service Manager for our night shelter service, you’ll be at the heart of Glass Door’s mission, delivering the largest network of night shelters in the UK.  This pivotal role offers you the chance to make a real difference by managing a dedicated team across multiple sites, ensuring high-quality, consistent service that supports our guests to build a route out of homelessness.  We’re looking for a dynamic, proactive leader with a passion for problem-solving and a compassionate service delivery.

What you will do as part of our team

The Service Manager is responsible for the following:

Service delivery 

· Lead all aspects of the planning, preparation, and delivery of the night shelter service. 

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, directly engaging with staff and guests to ensure high-quality service delivery. 

· Ensure operational policies are consistently followed, providing guests with a reliable and uniform service experience. 

· Manage the rota across three night shelters to maintain adequate staffing at all times. 

· Manage a fleet of three vehicles used for the night shelters, ensuring their availability and maintenance. 

· Ensure all staff are fully aware of service provisions, requirements, and expectations. 

· Lead the continuous improvement of the shelter service to better meet guest needs. 

· Ensure due diligence is performed, and that reporting and records are accurately maintained. 

· Collaborate with the Head of Operations & Service Development to keep expenditures and income within agreed budget limits. 

· Liaise with casework colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration between night shelter and casework staff. 

· Ensure the night shelters are aligned with other statutory and charity services to best meet the needs of our guests. 

· Conduct and maintain annual general and fire risk assessments for each shelter venue; actively maintain the service-level risk register and contribute to organisational risk register. 

· Promptly raise concerns and safeguarding issues in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

· Ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date with annual reviews, and provide staff with training and guidance on compliance and best practices. 

Management 

· Manage and supervise a seasonal staff team of approximately 40 individuals. 

· Oversee the full employee lifecycle management, including: recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management. 

· Lead the recruitment and training of seasonal shelter staff. 

· Provide high-quality support and line management to night shelter staff, delivering clear guidance, support, and effective leadership. 

· Ensure excellent performance management, support, and supervision of Night Shelter Managers and staff, including monitoring annual leave and addressing performance issues in line with Glass Door’s policies. 

· Empower seasonal managers to deliver high-quality, safe support and effective guest management in accordance with Glass Door policies and procedures. 

· Regularly monitor the quality of support and service by conducting site visits to the night shelters. 

· Organise and deliver a comprehensive training programme for shelter staff. 

· Facilitate regular supervision and team meetings to promote effective teamwork and communication. 

· Ensure the In-form system is utilised efficiently by shelter staff, with timely updates to reports, and prompt, accurate record-keeping. 

· Provide timely support, advice, and guidance to staff as needed. 

Service Development and Planning

Purpose of the Role

The Membership & Communications Manager is a new part time role at the School Partnerships Alliance, reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with our Executive Assistant. You will join us at an exciting time as we develop our new organisational strategy and expand our current school membership offer. As this is a new position this post does not currently have direct reports, but there may be an opportunity to recruit additional team member(s) as the organisation continues to grow over the next 12-18 months. You will be required to work closely with both our CEO and Director of Programmes and Research to lead on the development and delivery of the membership strategy, both stewarding and growing our membership base year on year. You will also be required to manage our new website, provide support with our social media, and ensure that all member communications align with both our brand values and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a new, robust membership strategy that supports the S.P.A.’s key objectives. This will include new member acquisition, current member retention and ensuring that stewardship of school members is effective and fit for purpose. You will work with the Director of Programmes and Research to help deliver a credible school partnerships CPD programme and collaborate with the wider S.P.A. team to create a tangible, attractive membership offer (both on and off-line) that will bring schools together, challenge existing partnership practice and support new thinking.

• Plan and prepare for meetings with current and potential members and accompany CEO and/or Director of Programmes and Research to cultivation meetings where appropriate.

Main Purpose

The Royal College of Pathologists is seeking a ServiceDesk Manager to lead the IT ServiceDesk and operational management of the IT function. The post holder will have a proven track record of leading a team of ServiceDesk Analyst to provide support for the College's IT and AV technology transformation. The role will be responsible for overseeing the day to day support of the IT and AV services across the RCPath. Reporting to the Head of IT, the ServiceDesk Manager is a highly visible and leading role within the IT Team and will work closely with all departments and the Senior Management Team. Energy Sparks is an online energy management tool and energy education programme specifically designed to help schools reduce their electricity and gas usage through the analysis of smart meter data. Energy Sparks helps pupils and the wider school community to reduce their school’s carbon emissions, and make a real contribution to addressing the 'climate emergency'. Energy Sparks started in 2017 in Bath, and is now working with over 1000 schools across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Note: Energy Sparks currently uses the Xero accounting package to deliver most of the tasks below. 

1. Financial Reporting 

• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts, ensuring accurate reporting of income and expenditure.

• Provide financial reports to the CEO and Board of Trustees

The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking a Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor to play a key role within the Safeguarding team, based from Causton Street, Pimlico. 

Job Summary 

Work as a team to support the Diocese of London in safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults in line with both UK legislation and House of Bishops Guidance. Responds well to safeguarding allegations and concerns, management of risk and making the church a safer place in line with the Church of England National Safeguarding Standards. 

Job responsibilities 

Casework  

• Respond to concerns and allegations of harm, working with statutory agencies; and protection of those who work with children and vulnerable adults in line of the House of Bishops Guidance. 
• Acting as a contact point for those in church and statutory agencies, provide advice on all safeguarding matters, ensuring the DST is operating in line with the law, government guidance and national practice guidance from the House of Bishops. Ensure that safeguarding procedures are carried out throughout the process, with appropriate liaison with statutory agencies. 
• Ensure appropriate support for alleged victims and their families and respondents and their families, throughout an investigation and thereafter. 
• Maintain practices standards in all case work, ensuring five key principles underpin all adult safeguarding work, human rights and have due regard to mental capacity and acting in the best interests of those in need of support. Supporting practice and policy development around case management safeguarding processes.
• Work with individuals who come to our attention to ensure appropriate risk assessment and risk management plans to set boundaries within a church setting; for those who are convicted of an offence, or where there are continuing unresolved concerns regarding risks to others. 
• Work with statutory agencies, including attending appropriate strategy meetings, case conferences as arranged by statutory agencies or requested by the Casework Manager or Head of Safeguarding.  
• Ensure that referrals to the DBS for barring from work with children or vulnerable adults and reports to the Charities Commission are submitted in line with statutory guidance.
• Ensure that the Bishop of London, area Bishop, Archdeacon and Head of Safeguarding and Case Work Manager are always informed when an allegation of abuse is made against a church officer. To manage case work within legal parameters and in line with the House of Bishops Guidelines. 

General 

• Provide professional safeguarding advice and undertake pro-active relationship management to ensure parishes and worshipping communities are aware of their responsibilities in relation to safeguarding children and adults who may be at risk of abuse or neglect; to keep them abreast of policy and practice developments.
• Under the direction of the Safer Churches Programme Manager to undertake strategic safeguarding projects and improvement work including polices and projects in line with identified business needs and operational plans. Developing initiatives to support the effective implementation across your designated area in order to ensure excellent safeguarding practices across the Diocese.
• Understand and implement, where necessary, information sharing protocols.  
• Assess risk and advise on safer recruitment with the use of the Disclosure and Barring Service. 

Training and Professional Development 

• Deliver where required training including bespoke inputs when gaps are identified and the Parish Safeguarding Officer Induction package.  
• Undertake as appropriate continuing training and professional development in the safeguarding field.

Person Specification 

Essential 

• A social work qualification recognised by the Health and Care Professional Council, or a similar qualification in a related area/profession, or experience.
• Specific training in a variety of aspects of child or adult safeguarding. 
• Experience of working with a range of statutory and non-statutory organisations in managing or contributing to safeguarding, including managing allegations against people in positions of trust and the management of those who may pose a risk.
• Experience of a fast-paced environment with ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and the ability to manage your own time/priorities.
• Knowledge of Safeguarding adults and children policy, procedures and legislation and experience of child and/or adult safeguarding work as a practitioner.
• Practitioner experience of working with victims or survivors of abuse, including adults with mental health issues. 
• Practitioner experience of working with perpetrators of any form of abuse.
• Knowledge and experience of recognition of risk, risk assessment and risk management and the ability to contribute to multi-agency risk meetings. Knowledge of processes such as MAPPA, MARAC and PREVENT.
• Excellent listening and communication skills and strong verbal communications skills and ability to produce clear written records and reports.
• Have exceptional people skills and the ability to build positive partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to work sensitively with survivors, those who are subject to allegations and/or those that may pose a risk.

Job description - Partnerships and Income Manager

Salary: £38,000 per annum 

Contract: Permanent

Reports to: Head of Commercial Services

Hours: Full or part-time hours considered, minimum 0.8 FTE

Location: Home-based (travel costs paid for meetings) 

Annual leave: 27 days FTE per annum plus Bank holidays (22 days FTE per annum under the Four Day Week) 

Please note that at Waterwise we work a Four Day Week, under voluntary agreements which all staff members sign. This means that you will be contracted and paid as full-time but you will sign a voluntary agreement stating that you commit to employing efficiency tools both individual and team-wide to deliver and be paid for 5 days work within four normal 9 to 5 days - the office is closed on Fridays. Training will be provided and you will be expected to continue to refresh your training and to keep up use of the efficiency tools. Annual leave is also pro rata’d. We can answer any questions you may have about this at the interview/s. On a 20 hours a week contract, you would be spending 16 hours a week at work including the equivalent of 2 one hour lunch breaks, and this can be worked in a flexible pattern, such as two full days or more, shorter days.

Partnerships and Income Manager Role Description

The Partnerships and Income Manager role involves engaging a range of stakeholders to help generate greater impact and income for Waterwise. The Partnerships and Income Manager will be responsible for researching and identifying potential new business opportunities; conducting outreach to new and existing stakeholders to encourage collaboration; building and maintaining relationships with Waterwise partners, sponsors and members; and assisting with developing winning proposals for funding, in order to deepen the impact we make with individuals, communities and businesses across the UK. The Partnerships and Income Manager will lead on delivery against income targets for our services and events. 

Key responsibilities in the role include: 

• Generating income for Waterwise by retaining existing partners, recruiting new partners, selling sponsorship opportunities, and increasing engagement and investment in Waterwise membership and services

• Researching and identifying new business development leads in line with Waterwise’s commercial strategy

• Building and maintaining an active pipeline of commercial and partnership opportunities to drive income 

• Conducting market and competitor research and engagement to ensure we have a clear understanding of customer needs and align our services to meet those needs

• Conducting lead generation and lead nurturing activities, including representing Waterwise at events and conferences, reaching out to potential new partners by email, phone or social media, and conducting introductory meetings with potential sponsors, members and partners

• Acting as account manager for Waterwise partners, (working alongside the Membership and Marketing Manager who manages member relationships), leading on administration such as ensuring Salesforce CRM is up-to-date, conducting Waterwise’s ethical screening process for potential partners, managing partnership agreements and payments

• Working with the Memberships and Marketing Manager to design and implement communications to demonstrate how partnering with Waterwise offers value for money and delivers against ESG commitments
