About MHFA England

MHFA England is a social enterprise and the leading provider of mental health skills and awareness training courses in England. Our vision is to improve the mental health of the nation by increasing people’s knowledge and skills through access to evidence-based, anti-racist and inclusive training. We believe that by training at least 1:10 of the adult population, we can normalise society’s attitudes and behaviours around mental health and develop the skills we need to look after our own and others’ wellbeing. What are we looking for?

We are looking for a professional and motivated individual with the ability to network and develop new business relationships to support MHFA England’s organisational approach of creating healthier workplaces.

The role holder will be able to identify and generate new leads to build sales pipelines and meet revenue and KPI targets. This role plays a key component in ensuring end-to-end exceptional customer experiences and the successful delivery of MHFA England’s products and services.

You will be able to:

  • Add value and support to cross-functional strategies and plans using a detailed understanding of client delivery, sector knowledge and revenue and impact targets
  • Generate leads to create a pipeline of prospective clients, converting them to bookings to achieve set targets and KPI’s
  • Consult with new and existing clients to build and maintain strong relationships and understand their mental health, wellbeing and delivery needs
  • Negotiate services and costs for clients and advise on discounts for identified sectors following discount model, and ensure contracts are recorded accurately
  • Present pitches and proposals for Clients, and attend relevant networking events and conferences
  • Collaborate with the Client Delivery team to ensure delivery of goals, whilst contributing to the directorate’s strategic goals
  • Manage stakeholder relationships (both internal and external) to support delivery success
  • Report progress of client contracts, providing data of individual progress for weekly sales reports

You will have:

  • Experience of working in a sales or business development role
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets and KPI’s
  • Confidence in generating new business leads
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to manage and retain key client relationships
  • Ability to persuade and influence internal and external stakeholders

Desirable skills:

  • Experience of using CRM systems
  • Awareness of mental health and wellbeing in the workplace
