Job summary: 

You will work as a member of Corporate Partnerships team which sits within Philanthropy and Partnerships. You will work closely with the Corporate Partnership Manager (Account management).

You will manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, building excellent relationships with key contacts and cultivating them for additional support, providing first-class stewardship and maximising income-generating opportunities.

In addition to this, you will proactively support the development of new business opportunities, conducting prospect research and building relationships with corporate prospects.

Principal accountabilities

• Manage a portfolio of low-level (£0k - £50k) corporate partners, including but not limited to fundraising, cause-related marketing, and sponsorship relationships.
• Proactively support the recruitment of new partners and the cultivation of new business opportunities. Conducting prospect research and developing impactful relationships.
• Deliver and support the team in providing first-class stewardship for corporate accounts.
• Support the creation of corporate fundraising materials e.g. posters and fundraising guides.
• Ensure contracts and legal responsibilities are drafted and in place for all partnerships and relevant activities, and conduct necessary due diligence.
• Process all thanking, banking and administration for corporate gifts received.
• Maintain and update the Raiser’s Edge NXT database in relation to your portfolio of supporters, including prospect and proposal tracking, ensuring that all data kept is in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
• Support with delivering High-Value Special Events, such as the coordination of guests, as required.
• Administration support, such as managing supporter mailings, managing the partnerships inbox and corporate web form enquiries.

We are looking for an Interim Supporter Engagement Officer on a 12 month fixed term contract, who will be the first point of call for supporters across four areas of our fundraising programme: in-memory giving, individual giving (cash & regular gifts), community & events fundraising and social challenges/virtual fundraising.

 Our Public Fundraising Team works closely together to steward our supporters, you would be responding to incoming queries, delivering established stewardship journeys and helping to shape the development of new ways of communicating with our supporters.

Purpose of the job

 You will be an important member of the Senior Management Team, supporting the CEO to drive income growth.  Key Accountabilities

About Quest for Learning
Quest for Learning is an education charity on a mission to close the gap for primary school children in Oxfordshire who are falling behind - often due to complex and compounding disadvantage. Many of the children we support are growing up in poverty, with limited access to books, low parental literacy, and challenging home environments. Some face health inequalities, live in areas affected by crime, or have recently arrived in the UK as refugees or asylum seekers.

Role Purpose

This is a hands-on and outward-facing role for a confident, capable fundraiser ready to lead Quest for Learning’s income generation efforts. As our sole dedicated fundraiser, you’ll take ownership of securing income across a broad mix of streams - including trusts and foundations, community fundraising, individual giving, and corporate partnerships.

You’ll be out and about representing the charity, building relationships with local businesses, community groups, and supporters, and bringing our mission to life with energy and clarity. You'll be responsible for marketing a wide range of projects including our recently launched, nationwide Veterans' Outreach programme, the Soane Stable Yard - which is open to the public 7 days a week, and our year-round events programme, as well as working with our partners to promote the Chelsea Heritage Quarter.

We are seeking a proactive marketeer, who is equally comfortable planning and implementing campaigns as well as creating compelling content, with excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of what drives public engagement and support for an organisation like the Royal Hospital.

The successful candidate will be:

· A skilled and confident executor, who is experienced in consumer marketing and promoting a wide range of projects including public events to the right audiences.

• Creative in crafting compelling marketing content to deliver effective, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Experience of working with a range of partners to help raise awareness and engagement, as well as suppliers such as designers and photographers.
• Relevant marketing experience in a military, charity, cultural or public organisation would be particularly advantageous.

Individual Giving Officer

We are looking for an Individual Giving Officer with experience and knowledge of fundraising, direct marketing and project management.

Position: CE375 Individual Giving Officer

Location: Home-based, UK, Nationwide. However, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: £34,470 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,275 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

The Role

You’ll be part of an ambitious and highly motivated team responsible for delivering an ambitious and growing Individual Fundraising programme. Working with other officers, you will be reporting to either the Individual Giving Lead responsible for cause related products, or for gaming products.

You’ll be:

• Enthusiastically managing and delivering a range of fundraising and engagement campaigns and communications to develop and maximise support from loyal supporters via multiple channels, including telephone, mail, digital, and SMS.
• Using your fundraising and marketing experience and skills to create successful campaigns and complex supporter journeys to help us grow income and supporter engagement. (Working collaboratively with Digital and Social Teams, as well as external media agencies). Helping deliver on multi million annual plans to retain and recruit new supporters using the most effective techniques and channels, including Face to Face.
• Comfortable with figures and spreadsheets and have a head for figures, as you’ll be diving into the data an managing campaign costs.
• Responsible for maintaining and reporting accurate campaign results and reviews.
• Always looking out for new opportunities, using sprint pipeline methodology (testing, solving, learning from experiments) before scaling.
• Ensuring campaigns and gaming activities are fully compliant at all times… a knowledge of Gambling Commission rules would be a bonus.

About You

We’re looking for an individual who:

• Has great experience and knowledge of fundraising, direct marketing and project management, and can bring a real enthusiasm to the team. This role has a specific focus around supporter acquisition which includes face to face, paid digital, direct mail, telemarketing and eMarketing.
• Is fantastic at organising and prioritising a busy workload and knowledgeable of project management.
• Loves attention to detail and can work on several projects at once whilst thinking outside the box, as things can change quickly!
• In fact loves data and insight and enjoy applying insight to our campaigns
• Is a great all-round communicator, with both internal and external audiences
• And of course, we need you to be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

About the role

You’ll support effective governance and compliance by coordinating key processes, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with regulatory obligations across the charity.

You’ll help embed a culture of accountability and integrity, contributing to strong oversight and enabling the organisation to deliver its mission with confidence.

• Support the Head of Risk and Assurance to ensure the charity remains compliant with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, keeping abreast of changes and developments to ensure they are enacted.

• Support the development and review of governance and compliance policies and procedures.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in charity governance, compliance, or risk management. Relevant non-charity experience will also be considered, provided you demonstrate a strong interest in the charity sector 

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to charities (e.g. GDPR, Charity Commission guidance) 

• Knowledge of modern risk management frameworks 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
