Through our YouTube channel, we have already established ourselves as a world-leader in in-depth, longform science videos. Our monthly podcasts are growing fast, and we are striving to develop our online communities so that they reach new audiences and drive growth across all of our digital platforms.
You will be passionate about driving growth and monetising our YouTube channels. You will lead a team of video producers to manage the Ri’s programme of public and commercial filming, including YouTube films, livestreams and partner content, and be the main point of contact for our website across the charity.

- Proven experience in managing a successful YouTube channel
- A background in digital product management and development, preferably including experience of managing a website

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Ri’s YouTube channels, developing a deep knowledge of YouTube’s platforms and algorithm, scheduling video content to maximising channel growth, audience engagement and video revenue through YouTube monetisation
- Manage the Ri’s YouTube membership programme, posting regular member updates, monitoring churn, and generally developing the product to provide a consistent and growing income stream
- Manage the Ri’s website platform and, in conjunction with Head of Digital, Marketing and Communications, develop a road map for future improvements to ensure all website developments are audience-focused and strategically aligned
- With the support of the Head of Digital, manage the day-to-day relationships with our website agency and other digital suppliers, including our YouTube partner manager, as well as discrete digital projects, to ensure our website, YouTube channel, and other digital platforms continue to grow and maintain a high level of quality for our users.
- With the support of the Head of Digital, manage the Ri’s programme of public and commercial filming – including YouTube films, livestreams and partner content – to ensure accessibility of high-quality science content for Ri audiences
- Line manage the Ri’s Video and Multi-media Producers and contribute to the senior leadership of the Digital and Marketing Team
- Lead on and implement the Ri’s website content strategy and calendar to manage, develop, create and promote user-focused content
- With the support of the Senior Marketing Manager, work with the Social Media Manager to ensure the Ri’s website content supports our mission and provides optimal and meaningful user journeys across our digital platforms
- Manage a cross-departmental group of website content creators from across the Ri to ensure the Ri’s digital content is accurate, user-focused and consistent in style and tone of voice
- Work with Head of Digital, Marketing and Communications to create and commission systems for monitoring, reporting and evaluating the Ri’s digital work to enable strategic, evidence-based and audience-focused decision making across the organisation
- Horizon scan for the latest trends and developments in digital media to help ensure that the Ri retains its place at the leading-edge of digital innovation in science communication
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Experience in digital product management
- A deep understanding of the digital landscape and the ability and desire to keep informed of the latest developments and opportunities
- Experience of managing YouTube content via the YouTube CMS or YouTube Creator Studio
- Track record of online revenue generation
- Experience of creating and commissioning content for online publication and managing digital platforms

This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation in a newly created role at a time when

The role

St. Bride Foundation is partnering with Robertson Bell to recruit a Part-Time Finance Manager (21 or 28 hours a week) on a permanent basis. Established in 1891 with a clear social and cultural purpose, St Bride Foundation is one of London’s hidden gems.
We are looking for a highly competent Part-Time Finance Manager to join our team who displays a passion for St Bride Foundation. Responsible for producing financial and management accounts and reports. Also providing effective and efficient financial and administration support to the Board of Trustees, Foundation Manager and Heads of Departments.
The key responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:
- Manage the Annual Report process and prepare statutory accounts for St Bride Foundation Trust Ltd, St Bride Foundation and Bridewell Centre Limited.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
- Prepare month end journals and maintain robust supporting documentation.
- Maintain and reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including fixed assets.
- Manage the accounting system, including oversight of sales and purchase ledgers, cash book, bank reconciliations and debt collection.
- Lead the migration from Sage Line 50 to Xero, due for completion by March 2026.
- Manage payroll processing, RTI submissions and pension administration.
- Manage relationships with HMRC, prepare VAT returns and ensure VAT and Corporation Tax submissions are accurate and on time.
- Prepare the annual budget and work closely with budget holders to ensure forecasts are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, manage working capital and produce periodic income and expenditure forecasts.
- Liaise with investment managers, reconciling income and ensuring appropriate information is received for financial reporting.
- Prepare financial papers for the Board and Finance Committee, including financial analysis and commentary.
- Maintain and update the Risk Register, working with senior stakeholders to identify and manage financial risks.

The successful candidate will:
- Have a background in, or strong passion for, the not-for-profit sector and a keen desire to give back to the local community in a fantastic organisation
- Be an experienced Accountant with an understanding of financial and management accounts
- Have great communication skills and have the ability to translate complex financial reports to non-financial stakeholders
- Ideally have experience with line management, however candidates eager to develop in this area will be considered

The Senior Fundraising and Grants Manager is accountable for:
Fundraising Strategy & Planning

Design, deliver and monitor a values-aligned fundraising strategy, with a primary focus on trusts and foundations.

Set annual income targets, track progress against goals, and report performance to senior leadership and trustees.

Identify new income opportunities to support Bite Back’s strategic growth and impact.

Develop and maintain a 12–24 month grant pipeline to forecast income and manage funding cycles.

Ensure all fundraising activity complies with the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR, and Bite Back’s ethical standards.
Grants from Trusts and Foundations

Lead the processes for securing income from trusts, foundations and institutional funders, from prospect research through to submission, reporting and renewal.

Research, identify and prioritise funding opportunities aligned with Bite Back’s youth-led mission and programmes. Collaborate with internal teams to conduct due diligence to ensure funding sources are aligned with our values.

Prepare and submit high-quality, evidence-led, and compelling grant proposals in collaboration with the CEO, Director of Finance & Operations, Monitoring & Evaluation Manager, and programme leads.

Coordinate grant management and tracking: maintain accurate records of deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.

Work with the finance team to develop accurate project budgets and ensure financial reporting meets funder expectations and our operational needs.

Produce and submit clear, engaging progress reports to funders that highlight impact, learning, and youth voices.

Monitor grant income and expenditure, ensuring compliance and timely claims against restricted funding.

Work with the Operations and Contracts Manager and the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to develop and improve systems for grant tracking and data integrity within the CRM (Salesforce).
Donor Stewardship and Relationship Management

Work closely with the CEO to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential funders, ensuring high-quality engagement and stewardship.

Coordinate communications, updates, and thank-you processes for donors to encourage repeat and multi-year funding.

Lead workstreams, working closely with the Brand Manager and leadership team for support, in order to deliver meetings, presentations, and reports to funders.

Represent Bite Back at relevant events, funder briefings, and networking opportunities.

Promote a culture of fundraising awareness and collaboration across the organisation.
Fundraising Development

Work with the Communications and Operations teams to explore and pilot small-scale public fundraising initiatives (e.g. individual giving, online campaigns, web donation tool).

Work with the CEO and Communications team to develop a new strategy to build a strong and committed donor network of high net worth individuals aligned with Bite Back’s values

Develop systems, messaging, and supporter journeys that reflect Bite Back’s youth-led identity.

Explore opportunities for revenue from the public sector.

Test new public fundraising channels and evaluate their return on investment to inform future strategy.
