A new opportunity has arisen to join the PR & Comms team as London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s in-house Videographer.  This role will have plenty of freedom to create innovative, creative video content for teams across the charity and frontline service, from storyboarding to filming and through to editing.  They will need to respond to briefs to produce films that are in line with our brand personality but also will be empowered to bring their own content ideas to help us deepen our connection with London, inspire people to support our cause, and help our clinical teams communicate the importance of the pioneering work they do.

This role is available on a fixed term 12-month contract (maternity cover), where you would work on a full-time basis (37.5 hours a week). You will have the opportunity work a hybrid working arrangement which will include 3 days a week at Southwark based office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The salary for this role is £30,000-£32,000, depending on level of experience.
 
You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and oversee the day to day running of the office. This will involve, co-ordinating meetings for trustees and staff members, ensuring operational systems and procedures are working efficiently, liaising with external partners and suppliers, and assist with making sure the office is health and safety compliant, while ensuring it is a warm and welcoming environment.
 
You will support with finance administration, processing income and expenditure and ensuring prompt submission of monthly financial reports.
 
You will provide HR administrative support, including recruitment, contracting, inductions, DBS checks and the management of confidential documents in keeping with GDPR compliance.
 
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a busy office environment and strong finance and administration experience. You will have experience of using MS Office, Asana and Icompleat or similar financial software. You will have strong levels of numeracy and experience in processing financial information. You will help co-ordinate recruitment campaigns and have experience using SafeHR and Web Recruit or similar HR packages. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills.
 
You will have strong communication skills and experience developing and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will also have experience in line management.
 
Desirably, you will have an understanding of the principles of data protection. You will have experience of creating contracts, knowledge of using Asana and other project management systems. You will have an interest in music and wider creativity, young people, and/or social justice issue.

Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy & Innovation:

• Design and deliver a fundraising strategy that scales ProVeg’s income from major donors, climate (and other relevant) foundations, and institutional funders.
• Identify and pursue new revenue streams aligned with our climate and food system mission.
  Collaborate with leadership to strengthen our theory of change, donor engagement frameworks, and funding cases.

Donor & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Cultivate and steward relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, corporate contacts and strategic partners.

Required:

• Experience working in international NGOs or with cross-country fundraising collaboration.

Role Overview

As a member of the Joint Leadership Team, the post-holder will contribute to the leadership, planning and delivery of cross-team projects, helping to influence and meet the charity’s strategic objectives. About You

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of delivering health service projects and programmes and have come from a health services or medical charity background. You will be adept at developing operational performance metrics, strategies and objectives and have a proven track record in developing strong working relationships with external stakeholders. Whilst not essential, experience of managing and leading a team would be beneficial, as would be an awareness and knowledge of the needs of people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis.

Our Location

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home,  although there will be times when you will need to travel to events/conferences. You will be required to attend two Directorate days each year and occasional face-to-face meetings with your team or our partner agencies. In addition, the charity meets four times annually at its office in Hatfield (or a location in London) for its’ ‘All Staff Together’ days, at which attendance is mandatory.

Training and Consultancy Manager

Salary: £38,655-£41,841 (£43,091-£46,643 London)

Contract: Initial two years fixed term

Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM) is the national charity supporting practitioners, policymakers and people with lived experience to transform services and systems for people facing multiple disadvantage - a combination of experiences including poverty, trauma, homelessness, substance misuse, mental ill health and contact with the criminal justice system.

Following an exciting period of growth in our support to local areas, we are now looking for an ambitious and effective person to join our team as Training and Consultancy Manager.

As Training and Consultancy Manager, you will help us achieve our mission for people facing multiple disadvantage by:

- Developing, coordinating and helping to deliver our training programmes,

- Leading on sales, marketing and new business for training and consultancy,

- Contributing to our commercial strategy,

- Acting as a valued and active team member.

We are seeking someone with experience of sales and marketing in a similar environment, alongside knowledge and experience related to multiple disadvantage, allowing you to deliver some aspects of our training as required.  You will be highly organised, commercially minded and able to work closely with team members and associates who also deliver training and consultancy work.

You will join a small and committed team working with more than 50 local areas, and build deep relationships with local areas across the MEAM Approach network and beyond.

You will provide advice and representation to rough sleepers within northwest London to end homelessness. By resolving immigration status of service users, you will help eliminate destitution and allow them to access support for a better future - an initiative funded under the London Councils Homelessness Project. 

You will work closely with supporting organisations including local authorities and homelessness organisations to break down barriers caused by immigration status and support migrant communities to thrive and become independent. 

Established in 1970, NKLC is the first community-based legal service centre that fights for equality and justice for the disadvantaged residents our locality.  We are proud that we have ended homelessness for many within our community who now have access to employment and study for a better future ahead. Sadly, due to In the height of the cost of living crisis, homlessness persists in the capital. As a result, the Mayors project has now been extended to end of March 2026 so we can continue supporting those facing destitution.
