About you

We are looking for a proactive and visible finance professional who is able to engage and build relationships across the organisation as a pivotal member within a values led high performing organisation. You will be a qualified accountant with proven track record of financial management awareness and a solid understanding of charity audits and statutory accounts preparation. You will have the ability to work with staff across the organisation in supporting good financial governance and oversight of financial operational matters. You will have the ability to analyse financial information and present this in a suitable format for the audience. You will have good ability to meet deadlines, be IT literate with an emphasis on financial systems, spreadsheets, Quickbooks and Excel. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and be able to work with minimum supervision.

About the role

The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

About the role

Purpose of the job

This role is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to join the UK Youth Network Delivery Department. The Summer Jobs Programme is the largest programme in UK Youth’s portfolio. Funded until the end of 2026, the programme is currently operating in its second year. The purpose of this role is to identify and secure employment placements, including those that generate some income, for The Summer Jobs Programme as well as overseeing the employer journey from start to end. Working closely with the Summer Jobs Programme Manager, the Employer Engagement Manager has key input into the work experience aspect of the programme. 

The Summer Jobs Programme is a paid employment initiative running from July to September 2025 and 2026, supporting vulnerable young people in England and Wales. It aims to reduce youth violence and improve future engagement in education, training, and work by removing barriers to employment and offering structured, empowering opportunities. Young people begin with a one-week pre-employment training course, followed by a five-week job placement. Throughout, they’re supported by both a local youth worker and an employer-based supervisor to ensure they receive consistent guidance.

Funded by the Youth Endowment Fund and Youth Futures Foundation, the programme launched in 2024 with over 400 participants and has expanded in 2025. A built-in Randomised Control Trial (RCT) will assess its impact on youth violence and long-term outcomes. In 2026, the programme will grow further, completing a three-year period of delivery and investment aimed at driving long-term, evidence-based change.

Open Door is a young people’s mental health charity that has been based in Haringey, North London for 49 years. It aims to improve mental health and life-chances of young people. We provide an ‘Open Door’ to free, high quality psychological therapy to 12–24-year-olds delivered by experienced and highly trained clinicians. We also support parents and carers, struggling with the issues their children face. We aim for access to be simple and over half of those we support, self-refer. Many young people who come to us have significant mental health difficulties and have faced barriers to services. Open Door delivers evidence informed practice and has been commended for our ambitious approach to outcome driven care. 

Open Door  received national recognition for  impact, as a 2024 finalist for Health Service Journal (HSJ) Award for Reducing Inequality and Improving Outcomes for Children and Young People  Open Door is community embedded, integrated into the local mental health infrastructure, commissioned by North Central London Integrated Care Board and part of the Haringey Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service single-point-of-access. We have a strategic voice which is used to advocate for young people’s mental health and influence practice. About the Role

Key Responsibilities
As Major Donor Manager, you will lead the mid-value and major donor fundraising efforts, developing strategies to secure vital funding from high-net-worth individuals. Your core responsibilities will include:

• New Donor Cultivation
• Relationship Management
• Data Management
• Line Management of the fundraising officer

We are looking for:

• Proven track record of securing 5 and 6-figure gifts from high-net-worth individuals in the charitable or commercial sector.
• A demonstrable passion and connection to the mission of Chance to Shine.
• Experience working with Trustee boards, senior volunteers, and/or development committees to secure funding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As Communications and Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Group Communications and Marketing to lead Family Fund’s communications and marketing function and team.

You’ll drive high performing strategies and campaigns, work with high profile supporters and lead successful brand channels, content and evaluations that make an impact every day. In this role you’ll drive our brand profile and awareness and ensure that all communications and marketing activities are integrated, inclusive, coherent and engaging, to drive our organisational strategy and objectives.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate and committed, to lead our dynamic communications and marketing team. You’ll need to be a brilliant writer and editor, be able to devise and deliver engaging, high impact content and campaigns that gain cut through for our brand with target audiences. You must be able to do this in line with our mission, vision and values. You’ll be comfortable briefing senior staff for media interviews, leading photography and videography shoots, managing a multitude of-channels, and coaching and developing a team.

We’re seeking someone who is results-driven, creative and innovative with a solid track record in increasing engagement across diverse channels, with segmented audiences.

• Proven experience in a communications and marketing role, with success in driving brand profile.
• Essential experience in managing a team and budget, with a hands-on, proactive approach.
• Excellent writing skills and an eye for close detail, with an ability to tailor impactful content for different audiences.
• Demonstrated success in planning and executing both digital and offline campaigns, with experience in data segmentation and audience targeting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
