Main Purpose of the Post:

Provide advocacy, support, impartial advice, and information to survivors of all ages who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives. This includes support within the Criminal Justice System (CJS), as well as delivering informed choices sessions to help survivors decide whether they wish to engage with the CJS process.

Key information:

· We require the post holder to be female under Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR), Schedule 9 (Work; Exceptions), Part 1 (Occupational Requirements), of the Equality Act (2010).

· The post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

· The post involves flexible working hours including responding to crises in order to meet the needs of the service as and when required.

· The post is part of a countywide ISVA service covering Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. For all survivors accessing the service

· Undertake needs-led assessments and develop individual support plans.

· Support survivors to access services to which they are entitled.

· Provide support (non-therapeutic) to survivors.

· Provide information on criminal, legal, and civil remedies where appropriate.

· Provide information and support in relation to Criminal Injuries Compensation.

· Where relevant, liaise with other agencies who are supporting the client.

· Assist survivors who decide to report by facilitating the reporting of the offence.

2. For survivors reporting to the Police

· Support survivors through the criminal justice system explaining the procedures, the ISVA role, and the client’s rights within the system.

· Liaise with the police and CPS on behalf of survivors and/or with survivors.

· Participate in case conferences with the police, CPS, and prosecuting barrister.

· Support and advocate for clients to access special measures.

· Where appropriate, support survivors to provide a victim impact statement during the trial phase.

3. Quality Assurance

· Maintain confidential client records, sharing and managing information in accordance with PRCCG Policies and Procedures.

· Develop and maintain effective working relationships with agencies supporting survivors.

· Ensure survivors receive the best possible standard of support in line with Rape Crisis National Service Standards.

· Attend and participate in regular Team Meetings, Peer Review Meetings, Reflective Practice and Clinical Supervision.

4. General

· Manage a caseload while taking responsibility for scheduling time off to ensure a healthy work/life balance.

· Work flexible hours where required and dependent on the needs of PRCCG and its service users.

· Participate in PRCCG training and development opportunities.

· Support the monitoring and evaluation of PRCCG services.

· Support the running of other PRCCG services where required.

About the role

You will deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community priorities and work with people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities.  You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation and engage with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of people’s rights.

The role also works in local community settings and with community groups to deliver advice and rights awareness workshops and make sure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their opinions and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. Offering day to day support to volunteers, providing learning, shadowing and mentoring and being a consistent role model for our values are also key aspects of the role.

About you

· You are able to listen to, engage and work with individuals and communities, including people with lived experience of homelessness.

· You will have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy and are able to progress to specialist level knowledge.

· Have experience of carrying out casework related interviews, maintain detailed case records.

· Advise and support clients to make informed decisions.

· A proven record of delivering group workshops and presentations is essential, as is a collaborative, flexible and professional approach to your work.

RNID Near You Co-ordinator – Somerset

The post requires travel across the Somerset so living within the area is an essential requirement.

You will be joining us at an exciting time as we set up our new RNID Near You service in Somerset working alongside our current RNID Near You in care homes service, Somerst Foundation Trusts Audiology team, and RNID’s Health Programme to develop and deliver a new self-referral pathway and wraparound service in the Somerset Foundation Trust area. As a Co-ordinator, you will focus on developing and delivering our volunteer lead community service across the Somerset area through sessions in community settings. The service will offer:

• practical hearing aid support
• information on hearing loss and tinnitus
• hearing checks

You will be responsible for setting up and co-ordinating sessions across the region and be able to recruit, train and manage a team of up to 30 volunteers to deliver the service across Somerset. You will work with NHS Somerset Foundation Trust audiology team and our local RNID Near You Somerset Care Home Co-ordinator to induct and train our volunteers to high standards. You will promote this service within the NHS Somerset Foundation Trust area to ensure maximum engagement and uptake. You will also be responsible ensuring all paperwork is processed correctly and reports to stakeholders are timely completed.

You want to make a difference in people’s lives and love to interact with various audiences, including volunteers, health & care professionals and service users. You have experience managing events, your own workload and are able to work evenings/weekends if required. You are able to physically assist clients with hearing aids sensitively, giving clear guidance and taking into account individual wishes and health needs.

You are ready to work for a home-working organisation and have good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word.

SLRA is a well-established local migrant support organisation working with and for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis as a result of immigration issues. We provide specialist immigration advice (SLRA is regulated to provide advice at IAA Level 3) as well as a broad range of practical, social and therapeutic support services. SLRA also campaigns for a fairer immigration system, involving local people with lived experience in influencing local and national policy and practice.

We are looking for an Immigration Advisor who will be responsible for the delivery of immigration advice and casework to service users in a wide range of circumstances, although most will be rough sleepers. The work will be varied and will cover a broad range of asylum and immigration issues, along with the opportunity to support advocacy work and to improve access to justice.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Are an Immigration Advisor regulated at IAA Level 2 / 3 with substantial relevant experience of providing high quality advice and casework to clients.
• Have a good understanding of a wide range of legal, rights and entitlements issues as they relate to immigration and asylum, along with knowledge of and empathy with the backgrounds and experiences of migrants who are in crisis or at risk

As a Finance Business Partner, you will support key stakeholders through detailed reporting, insightful analysis, and actionable financial insights. In this role, you’ll provide strategic recommendations on critical financial decisions, ensuring that finance is central to decision-making at LSBU.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Following the agreed process, conduct the annual budget setting process for the partnered units.
• Deliver finance business partnering services, including: budget setting, business case review, aiding comprehension of financial reports, financial approver maintenance, monthly forecasting, and providing advice and insight to budget holders.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to stakeholders in the partnered units.  This will often include a combination of financial and non-financial data to deliver information that improves decision making and planning.
• Following the agreed timetable, produce accurate monthly forecasts for the partnered units.  Follow consistent processes and templates, and engage constructively with efforts to improve the efficiency of those processes.
• For the partnered units, maintain an accurate record of financial approvers on the finance system.  This includes making any necessary changes, and regularly monitoring the financial approvers to ensure they are correct.
• Review, and seek regular feedback from stakeholders on, the usefulness of the suite of financial reports available to budget holders.  Pass feedback to the Head of Financial Planning & Business Partnering and the Head of Financial Reporting & Analysis.
• Using the suite of training materials developed by senior members of the team, deliver regular training to budget holders in the partnered units.

The key duties of the Director of Finance, People & Culture are as follows:
