The role
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for working with Cruse in partnership with SGN to support people experiencing a bereavement, with help and information to alleviate fuel poverty, enabling them to maintain a safe and warm home.
The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively across Cruse with our communications team, finance team, data team and service teams, to help extend the reach of these valuable services to bereaved people. This includes upskilling staff and volunteers with regard to fuel poverty, with training information and resources. Develop and support drop-in sessions, groups and community events. Raising awareness through communications / digital / newsletters etc and Providing monitoring reports to evaluation the services provided.

About you
You will need experience of working with people experiencing exclusion and multiple disadvantage and in a multi-disciplinary context with partners, community groups and other agencies. You have demonstrable experience of staff and service management, casework support, risk management, supervision and safeguarding, as well as delivering and managing support projects and/or contracts. If you have experience of Housing First and mobilising contracts this would be an advantage but is not essential.

Shelter North East has been supporting people in the region for over 25 years and provides advice over 12 local authorities. We are made up of an advice team, legal team as well as support services which include Housing First and DIY skills service, as well as an administration team. Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems.
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Wellbeing Practitioner to work with a new partnership of Unified Community Assistance Network Enfield. UCAN Enfield is a consortium led by Age UK Enfield, with delivery partners from One to One, Mind in Enfield and Barnet, Wellbeing Connect, Bread n Butter, Cooking Champions and Middlesex Association for Blind.
We offer a range of services and activities to promote health and wellbeing and independence to residents aged 18+ who may be affected by sensory loss, autism, mental health conditions, long-term health conditions, and people whose voices are seldom heard.
Our specialist programme has been designed to be inclusive for all, and includes healthy eating and nutrition, cookery workshops, exercise and wellbeing groups. We also deliver peer support groups and lead the Adult Autism Hub.
Duties will include:
- Working alongside UCAN Enfield partners to co-produce and support the delivery of a programme of health and wellbeing sessions in the community that meet a range of needs from general population to specific conditions
- Attending community activities to meet new potential referrals and engage with participants.
- Managing shared UCAN Enfield Email inbox on a rota basis and loading new referrals onto Charity Log.
- Using Charity Log (CRM) to access and manage referrals by triaging and determining their level of need 1,2,3* and allocating the appropriate support which may include referring to other UCAN Enfield partners or referring to other partners.
- To manage a case load of 25 new referrals per month.
- To work alongside UCAN partners to ensure that referral pathways are established and maintained with GP’s, Enfield community organisations, VCS, Social Care, Health Teams, pharmacies.
The successful candidate should have a minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social care, housing and VCS Services.

About the Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Support the Local Quality and Improvement Manager in delivering key Local Offer programmes, such as the Peer Review and Peer Network Programme, helping Local Authorities and organisations meet the needs of young people and fulfil their Statutory Duty (Section 507B).
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of traded services related to Quality Standards and Organisational Development, ensuring high-quality support for partners.
- Contribute to the development, quality assurance, and standardisation of NYA resources related to Quality Standards, working collaboratively across NYA teams.
- Promote NYA standards and resources to the sector, offering support and training to encourage adoption and effective use.
- Identify and deliver support to non-commercial requests, including those from VCSE organisations and Town and Parish Councils seeking information, advice, and guidance.
- Engage with the Local Policy & Partnerships Manager and the NYA Knowledge Team to gather and share sector insights, promoting knowledge exchange across NYA teams and the wider youth work sector.
- Support collaboration with Local Authorities and partner organisations to raise awareness of NYA programmes and encourage engagement with Quality Standards.
- Utilise NYA tools, including CRM and Project Management systems, to help generate timely and relevant performance and financial reports that inform decision-making and support effective programme delivery.
Our ideal Local Quality Advisor should have the following:
- Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of programmes or projects within the youth work, education, or voluntary sector.
- Strong understanding of youth work principles and the statutory duties of Local Authorities (particularly Section 507B).
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including Local Authorities, partner organisations, and internal teams.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to contribute to the development of resources and reports.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Competence in using digital tools such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and project management platforms. Experience of using project management platform (or similar) would be an advantage
- A proactive, flexible, and agile approach to working across multiple programmes, including attending events and responding to time-sensitive deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic and evolving organisation.

We are looking for a self-organised person with a keen interest in supporting mental health to join us as a Sector Development Officer. This role will facilitate, coordinate, and encourage collaboration between and across the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Sector, specifically across youth and adult mental health provision. This is done through the sharing of information and opportunities, gathering sector insights and the provision of tailored guidance and signposting.
Our preferred candidate will be committed to developing a strong understanding of the VCFSE and Health sectors in Cheshire East. They will be confident in networking and presenting to groups of varying sizes, and have a commitment to fostering collaboration. They will be able to present information in a variety of formats, and be able to manage and prioritise their own workload.
