• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks while working collaboratively across teams.

The Academic Registry team, one of the sub-teams within programme management, is responsible for ensuring that participants’ academic  programme journeys are well-administered. The team are responsible for areas such as academic policies and processes (including for assessment and student records), along with several other operational aspects of Frontline’s academic provision, from attending and preparing data for examination boards or exceptional circumstances panels, to liaising with external markers.

The Academic Programmes Administrator will work to contribute to a first-class participant experience on the Approach Social Work programme. The post holder will be required to be flexible and adaptable in response to diverse requirements in the wider team through the academic year. A high standard of customer service is expected throughout, including at peak periods. 

Some key responsibilities include:

• Act as first point of contact for queries from various stakeholders, working closely with regional delivery teams to ensure that applicants, participants and Fellows (our programme alumni) are fully supported with the information they need

About the Assistant Accountant role

This role sits within our finance team, who provide financial control and support across all three entities of Coin Street: Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB), Coin Street Centre Trust (CSCT), and Coin Street Secondary Housing Co-Operative (CSS). As our new Assistant Accountant, you will focus on managing the daily banking process, ensuring transactions are accurately uploaded and maintained in the finance system to support smooth financial operations.

As our new Assistant Accountant, you will

• Manage daily banking tasks, including extracting statements and uploading transactions to finance systems and databases.
• Process and reconcile monthly credit card transactions, ensuring compliance with company policy. 
• Maintain financial data accuracy by reviewing VAT codes, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and closing outstanding purchase orders.  
• Prepare intarcompany journal entries.
• Support system improvements, including open banking integration, and assist in staff training to ensure adherence to financial procedures.

• AAT Level 4 or part-CIMA qualification.

Advocacy Coordinator

We are seeking to recruit an Advocacy Coordinator to develop and coordinate the delivery of influencing strategies around the identified public policy priorities of the Methodist Church and the Joint Public Issues Team. You’ll need to bring experience of coordinating campaigns or political advocacy initiatives and an understanding of different methods of working for policy change. About the Choir with No Name

The Choir with No Name has been running choirs involving people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation since 2008, and we currently have choirs in Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Cardiff, Coventry, Sheffield and Brighton. We were founded on the premise that singing makes you feel good; it distracts you from all the nonsense in life and helps you to build confidence, skills and genuine, long-lasting friendships. • Provide strong and effective support to residents in Acorn House that focuses on their strengths and goals, and is delivered in a personalised way and within a framework of active engagement and co-production

• Developing and reviewing support plans that reflect the interests and aspirations of residents

• Induct new residents in line with the service’s policies and procedures and support them to continue in their journey towards recovery from addiction

• Carry out assessments of those referred to Acorn House, and induct new residents

• Ensure the fundamental needs of residents are met including good quality accommodation and facilities, healthy food, advice and guidance around benefits, and alcohol and drug testing (to help maintain an abstinent environment)

Special Conditions

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Restoring Rivers & Catchments Team, developing and delivering a portfolio of physical enhancement projects on the ground. This role is suitable for an experienced and knowledgeable individual to build on their existing skills, overseeing all stages of river and catchment enhancement projects; from conception to development, design and physical implementation. You can have practical impact and influence on the natural environment creating sustainable and healthy rivers for the future.

The role of a Project Officer

Whilst this role will predominantly be in the East of the region, you will need to be prepared to work all over the South East should the need arise. River enhancement projects will typically include weir removals, fish passage easements (such as rock ramps, nature-like bypasses or technical fish passes) and river re-naturalisation projects (such as habitat enhancements, reconnecting floodplains & palaeochannels, re-meandering, and backwater creation). Catchment management projects are likely to include wetland creation, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Natural Flood Management (NFM) measures. We would be interested to know about any experience you have in the above fields when you apply.

Using your freshwater expertise and proven ability, you will proactively lead on smaller and medium scale projects while working closely with other staff, external partners and stakeholders. You will work with the rest of the team, drawing on the experience of more seasoned staff to help your personal career progression and likewise overseeing Assistant Project Officer and imparting your knowledge onto them. Most importantly of all, you will support the whole team, your line manager and the wider organisation.

• Able to put their understanding of freshwater aquatic ecosystems to use by designing, overseeing and delivering projects in this environment.

World Jewish Relief launched the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK. 

STEP aims to support refugees and others who have experienced forced migration to overcome the complex barriers they face in preparing for, and ultimately finding, work in the UK. We work with individuals, regardless of their background or proximity to the labour market, helping them develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment.

We deliver STEP through both online and in-person programmes across the UK. Our work includes targeted support for women refugees, Afghan nationals, Ukrainians, and people who have come through the asylum system.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Officer, who will be central to the smooth delivery and coordination of the STEP In-Person Programme. You will work closely with a network of expert partners, including local authorities and NGOs, to ensure high-quality, accessible support is delivered within communities.

You will be responsible for a range of programme and partnership management tasks, including oversight of grant payments, data and impact reporting, delivery partner support, and internal training and induction. You will also contribute to the design and delivery of specialist strands of STEP, including our pilot programme for people seeking asylum and our Experts by Experience Board. You will work closely with the STEP Programme Manager to implement the programme’s current delivery and help shape its future direction into 2025 and beyond.

About The East End Community Foundation (EECF)

EECF supports communities through our charitable activities of grants and programmes.  In 2024/25 these totalled over £1.6m and we intend to increase our grant making year on year to provide greater and longer-term support so we can continue to make a difference to the lives of local people by supporting vital community-based projects with grant funding. The Role

Position: Grants Officer

· Assist the team in developing, managing, delivering and promoting EECF’s grants programmes.

· Provide information, advice and guidance to grant applicants

· Manage a caseload of grantees including building relationships with grantees, liaising and agreeing outcomes for funded projects, preparing and issuing grant contracts, working with groups through the delivery of their projects to final reporting

· Ensure all information including grant applications are accurately recorded in a timely fashion on the database system Salesforce

· Conduct regular outreach and participate in networking events and awareness raising sessions aimed at potential grant applicants or recipients

· Review end of grant reports and collate information to provide annual reports on grant programmes 

· Contribute to the maintenance and development of grant making systems, policies and procedures including guidance notes, application forms and reporting structures

· Keep abreast of good practice in grant making and new initiatives being implemented by other local grant makers and community foundations
