Job description

Are you passionate about the transformational possibilities of volunteering and engaging with communities? Join the Volunteering for Health programme – a £10m national initiative led by NHS Charities Together, NHS England, and CW+ as a Programme Coordinator in Hertfordshire and West Essex.

You'll work closely with the Programme Lead and other place-based Programme Coordinators, NHS and voluntary sector partners in Hertfordshire and West Essex, to support the creation of a whole-system approach to health and social care volunteering, helping to remove barriers and reduce health inequalities. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a bold, collaborative movement to transform volunteering across health and within our communities.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate local delivery of the Volunteering for Health programme, with a focus on MHLDN
  • Build strong relationships with NHS, VCFSE, and community partners
  • Engage local communities to raise awareness and participation
  • Support data collection, communications, and programme evaluation.
