The purpose of this role is to provide leadership, oversight and curation to the FYT Leadership Team, and to lead the smooth running of the FYT Organisation which supports the wider FYT Movement. This will include coordinating the delivery of the strategic plan, leading fundraising, and working closely with the FYT Board to oversee the smooth running of the organisation.

Hours: 22.5 hrs per week
Salary: £24,116 per annum (£40,194 pro rata) + 9% pension
Holidays: 5 weeks plus bank holidays and 3 additional days at Christmas
Location: Working from home, with nationwide travel expected

2. Lead the FYT staff team – supporting, supervising, enabling and encouraging and ensuring appropriate HR functions are carried out. 
3. Lead the fundraising strategy for the organisation, giving attention to securing grants, as well as donor fundraising . Report as necessary to funders.
4. Work with the Finance Officer to manage the budget and finances within the parameters agreed by the Board.
5. Facilitate the effective function of the Leadership Team, enabling the smooth and efficient carrying out of the strategic priorities.
6. Provide Line Management support and supervision to the other members of the Leadership Team.
7. Develop, implement and monitor FYT’s strategic plan in partnership with the FYT team and board
8. Engage in practical theological reflection on FYT’s mission and how it is expressed.
9. Attend and contribute as required to Board meetings, working closely with the Chair and Board to ensure that appropriate issues are raised, and that any agreed action is put into effect.
10. Be an advocate for marginalised young people, the issues they face, and youth workers and projects working with them (pursuing prophetic mischief, provocation, and taking up our unique space in the youth ministry community).
11. Make links with appropriate Christian, voluntary and statutory bodies and to represent FYT in appropriate forums and pursue opportunities for collaborative working.
12. Support the active promotion of the FYT training and resource offer.
13. Lead the monitoring and evaluation (impact assessment) of FYT’s work

Other functions:

1. Meet regularly with Line Manager for supervision.
2. Undertake administration and keep necessary work records.
3. Comply with all FYT policies and procedures.
4. Work collaboratively with the FYT leadership team and Board to ensure that organisational policies are regularly reviewed.
5. Engage in CPD/lifelong learning.
6. Undertake any other tasks that may be requested, commensurate with the nature and level of the post and as may be required by the Board of Trustees.

Additional Information

• The Leadership Team is supported by a contract with Giraffe HR that assists in the day to day running of the organisation, primarily managing the finances of the organisation.
• Engagement in ongoing, regular youth work with marginalised young people is not a requirement of this post, but encouraged. FYT will be flexible where possible in order to facilitate this.

Ascension Community Trust (ACT) is a much-loved community-based charity in Custom
House, Newham. We deliver Newham District Foodbank (a Trussell foodbank run by ACT
and two community partners), welfare benefits advice, immigration advice, ESOL classes,

You will work two days a week with Newham District Foodbank strategic partners to mobilise
volunteers across our three delivery sites, and one day a week to support volunteer
involvement across the rest of ACT. You will need to be able to think outside the box to spot
opportunities – across all our projects – to invite volunteers to join in with our mission,
whether that’s regular volunteering, one-off projects or using their skills to help us with
strategy or communications.

You will also need to be methodical, making sure references are taken up and DBS-checks
are completed, as well as tracking and recording volunteers’ training. To make this easier
you will help us implement the ‘Assemble’ volunteer management software across Newham
District Foodbank’s three partners.

Production Lead

Role Summary

An exciting opportunity to join Into Film and lead on the production of all audio-visual content for the UK’s foremost film education charity. Overseeing an in-house production team of six, the Production Lead will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to identify, develop and deliver an exciting and wide range of content for classroom resources, social media channels and the Into Film website.

The role is initially available for a fixed term through to 31st March 2026, but may become permanent pending continuation of funding.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Joint Heads of Programme and Head of Marcomms to identify audio visual requirements in support of the Into Film strategy, including income generation. 
• Lead on planning and allocation of work for a team of six, supporting on and leading projects as required.
• Oversee departmental production budget, and budget from commissioning departments, ensuring that expenditure is planned, tracked and evaluated. 
• Plan for and manage freelancers in support of production activity as required.
• Manage Production Team, identifying where support, training and development are required to ensure a flexible approach to producing a diverse range of audio-visual content. 
• Ensure that statutory regulations in the provision of film and media content are complied with (safeguarding and child protection, GDPR etc.). 
• Ensure that all audio-visual content is legally compliant and rights are cleared for use on specified channels. 
• Oversee production on key projects including the Into Film Festival and the Into Film Awards. 
• Ensure that Into Film audio-visual content reflects the diversity of its audiences, including teachers, young people and children from under-represented backgrounds and communities. 
• Any other reasonable duties assigned by Into Film.

General Responsibilities:

Person Specification:

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of two years’ experience of team management in a fast-moving production environment. 
• Experience of audio-visual content production and post-production, including for social media.
• Extensive experience of working successfully and collaboratively with senior colleagues from across an organisation to plan and produce audio-visual content.
• Experience of managing individual project and departmental budgets. 
• Good working knowledge of rights and compliance issues in relation to audio visual production. 
• Confident, creative judgement, including experience of feeding back on briefs, scripts and edits, and taking responsibility for project sign-off and delivery. 

Desirable:

• Experience of producing audio-visual content for an education and/or youth audience.
• Experience of editing audio-visual content using Premiere Pro.

The Role

About this Role

The Marketing and Communications Officer will play a crucial role in enhancing and promoting IAPO's mission and initiatives through effective marketing and communication strategies. The Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering advocacy campaigns and engagement activities, creating compelling content, managing social media channels, and amplifying IAPO's online presence and visibility within the global health community. The role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and a passion for non-profit work. The post holder will report to IAPO's Chief Executive Officer and work closely with all staff members.

 About the role

Our Client Advisers are often the first people our clients speak to – and that first conversation really matters.

Whether someone is facing financial hardship, struggling with their mental health, or unsure where to turn for help, you’ll be there to listen, understand, and guide them through the support we offer.

It’s a varied and rewarding role. You’ll provide advice and guidance, coordinate casework, process grants, and refer clients to our trusted partners – helping them access the right support at the right time.

You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative team who share ideas, support one another, and care deeply about doing good work. We’ll make sure you’re fully trained, supported, and encouraged to grow.

 About you

You’re someone who genuinely cares about helping others – and knows how to listen without judgement.

You have experience supporting people with things like housing, benefits, mental wellbeing or budgeting – or you might come from another role where empathy, problem-solving and clear communication were key.

Some of the people you support may be facing difficult situations, so you’ll be calm under pressure and confident making decisions. And while not every call is as complex, you’ll always have the support of your team.

You’ll be organised, curious, and open to learning. Most of all, you’ll want your work to have a tangible, positive impact on people’s lives.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Communications and Engagement Team as our Head of Communications and Engagement. 

The post will involve supporting the Union to deliver its communications strategy, as well as our democratic functions such as campaigning and leadership elections.  You'll lead the Communications and Engagement Team, and work closely with the Union team and University colleagues to ensure that we communicate effectively with our stakeholders.

Main responsibilities: 

Communications:

• Develop and deliver the Union’s overall Communications Strategy Develop and deliver effective communication plans for the Union’s projects and priorities
• Ensure that all communications channels are properly evaluated, and provide advice and guidance on which resources or strategies to deploy
• Manage the Union’s marketing and communications channels Oversee the Union’s data protection policies, ensuring that staff are aware of their responsibilities
• Responsible for managing the Union’s CRM/CMS, including owning the relationship with our supplier.
• Manage the correct application of the Union’s tone of voice across our communications channels, providing guidance, training and support where needed to teams and departments.
• Manage the Union’s visual identity through digital, video, and print, regularly reviewing and evolving the visual style.
• Regularly gather and communicate the impact made by the Union, including the development of impact reports 

Democratic functions:

• Ensuring that the Union is considered to be legitimately representative of its members by increasing engagement in and the quality of democratic activity. In doing so, ensure that the Union is truly democratic, and that all members and Officers adhere to the Union's constitution and bye-laws.
• Responsible for leading the Union’s democratic procedures, for example the annual elections or Annual Members’ Meetings
• Support the Elected Officers to communicate their priorities and campaigns to our members, helping our Officers effectively develop their own personal communications plans to raise their profile across the student community.

SMART is hiring! We have a vacancy for a one year maternity cover contract, for a part time mental health Community Navigator. The Navigators support people with serious mental illness, with a range of issues including: housing, benefits, finance and social isolation.

We offer a friendly, collaborative, hybrid and integrated work environment in partnership with the NHS and other voluntary sector services, as well as a pension program, 28 days annual leave (pro rata for a part-time role), employee led HR processes and a competitive salary.

Ideally you will have experience of working within mental health/vulnerable adult services, working within multi-disciplinary teams, knowledge of the issues people face with housing/benefits etc and liaising with other services and professionals on service users behalf. 

The part-time role can be flexible to suit your needs, and can be worked over 3-5 days. We can discuss your preference at the interview stage.
