This is a new role sitting within the Marketing Planning team, created to establish ARUK’s Single Source of Marketing Truth. This role helps to establish marketing effectiveness as a core organisational capability at ARUK, ensuring objectivity on performance.
The Senior Marketing Effectiveness Officer will work with the Head of Marketing Planning and Senior Marketing Planning Manager, to deliver robust audience insight, marketing performance measurement, and effective evaluation to inform marketing strategy. The role moves ARUK to a consistent, comparable measurement system that supports income growth, audience development and best use of marketing budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Effectiveness & Performance Measurement
· With the support of the Senior Marketing Planning Manager, deliver and implement an ARUK Single Source of Truth (SSOT) dashboard for marketing performance.
· Build and maintain consistent KPIs, reporting methodologies and dashboards across all marketing disciplines.
· Analyse campaign performance across channels, providing objective insight on effectiveness, ROI, CPA, long-term value and audience movement through the funnel.
· Produce clear performance summaries and recommendations for senior leadership to guide future decision-making and budget optimisation.
· Identify what works, what doesn’t, and what should be scaled — ensuring learning is embedded into planning cycles by the Senior Planning Manager.
Audience Insight & Segmentation
· Working with the Senior Marketing Planning Manager, translate priority audience insights into actionable planning and targeting guidance for campaign and channel teams.
· Maintain and update audience personas, segmentation models and behavioural profiles in partnership with the Insight team.
· Support on ad hoc audience research (quantitative and qualitative) to inform proposition development, message testing and campaign design.
· Support the Head of Marketing Planning and Senior Marketing Planning Manager in ensuring all marketing activity is rooted firmly in audience needs and motivations.
Data, Systems & Continuous Improvement
· Support the implementation and optimisation of new effectiveness tools, dashboards, analytics partners and measurement frameworks.
· Work closely with CRM, Data and Finance teams to ensure accurate, consistent flow of supporter, campaign and spend data.
· Identify gaps in data, insight or measurement and propose solutions to resolve them.
Stakeholder Engagement & Upskilling
· Present clear, insightful recommendations to senior leaders and campaign owners to guide investment and planning.
· Support training for teams on how to use insight, performance data and funnel metrics to improve campaign effectiveness.
· Champion a test-and-learn culture across the organisation.

The Senior Marketing Planning Manager in an exciting new role to Alzheimer’s Research UK. Sitting in the Marketing Planning team within Strategic Marketing, this role is accountable for making ARUK’s marketing system work end-to-end for bigger and better impact.

Digital Business Analyst - FTC

You will ensure that Alzheimer’s Research UK’s digital channels, products, and services are not just functional, but are strategically aligned to drive our bold goals and deliver the objectives of the Digital, Data and Technology (DDT) transformation programme.
The post holder will act as the crucial link between internal and external stakeholders and the Digital and Technology delivery teams. They will translate high-level business needs into detailed, actionable technical requirements and user stories, ensuring feasibility, maximising project value, and guaranteeing that implemented solutions deliver an optimal supporter experience.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Elicitation and Scope Definition
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritise, and document functional and non-functional requirements for priority DDT projects and product enhancements (across web, email and other digital channels as required).
· Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping sessions to identify core business problems and opportunities for digital improvement.
· Ensure all requirements align with the overarching DDT architecture and digital principles being established.
Analysis, Feasibility, and Impact Assessment
· Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses for proposed digital changes, ensuring new solutions contribute to organisational goals for supporter experience, sustainability, and productivity (return on investment).
· Analyse current digital channel performance data and user behaviour (market research) to identify trends and inform decision-making, ensuring future-proofed and data-driven requirements.
· Simplify complex business and technical concepts, ensuring clarity for both executive leadership and the development team.
Documentation and Artefact Creation
· Translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation, including User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, wireframes, user flow diagrams, and process models for the Digital and Technology delivery teams.
· Produce clear, high-quality technical writing and documentation for project processes, system changes, and end-user guides, contributing to the team's knowledge base.
Quality Assurance and UAT Management
· Play a key role in the design and co-ordination of comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans to validate that all digital solutions and features meet documented business requirements and satisfy user needs.
· Support the implementation phase of priority DDT activities such as our web development project, acting as a point of consultation to resolve issues and validate new solutions (e.g. changes in software or platform compatibility).
· Contribute to system maintenance planning by documenting defects and change requests post-launch.
Communication and Bridge Building
· Serve as the primary communication bridge between the DDT Programme Manager and Digital, internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring project transparency.
· Facilitate project presentations and public introductions of new digital features to stakeholders and internal teams to secure project adoption and report on progress.
What we are looking for:
· Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role, specifically within a digital, marketing, or technology environment.

BACKGROUND
Ashiana started operating in 1989 and specialises in helping young women, aged 16 - 35 years, from South Asian, Middle Eastern & Iranian communities who are at risk of domestic violence and sexual violence.
OUR SERVICES
Ashiana runs three refuges with a total of 29 bed-spaces; specifically for women aged 16-35 fleeing forced marriage. This multi award winning project is the only service of its kind in the UK and is highly innovative in terms of addressing an area of significant need not met in other refuge provision. Within these refuges we designate a number of bedspaces for women with no recourse to public funds. We offer an advice and support service to women and girls who are experiencing VAWG (Violence against Women & Girls), enabling them to make informed decisions and exit abusive relationships. We provide counselling for women and girls affected by domestic violence and sexual violence. We also deliver an immigration service to women who have insecure immigration status with the aim to support them with access to specialist legal advice in order to resolve their immigration status. .. We deliver harmful practices training to professionals from the statutory and voluntary sector in addition to awareness raising workshops for women and girls in the community.
PRIMARY TASK
To be responsible, alongside the Management Committee, the Senior Management Team and other workers for the effective running of the Project, in accordance with Management Policy. Ensuring that it meets the needs of South Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish women and girls who have been made homeless as a result of VAWG (Violence against Women & Girls).

The Events team sit within the wider Insight & Strategic Development team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK). The purpose of the Insight and Strategic Development team is to deliver both long term and tactical insight that is grounded in a deep understanding of our audiences. The Events team lead on the development and delivery of a wide range of events that stretch across the whole organisation. The key aims of the team are to ensure a consistent, professional, and highly engaging supporter experience whether through direct delivery or through consultation with teams looking to deliver events on their own.
The Events Administrator will work closely with the Senior Events Officer and wider Events Team to develop and deliver a first-class events programme for Alzheimer’s Research UK. The team comprises two Event Officers, two Senior Event Officers and one Senior Event Manager.
This role involves working alongside other team members on the planning and delivery of in-person, hybrid and online events, as well as providing administrative support and recording and reporting on events.
This role will be known internally as Events Executive*.
Key Responsibilities:
Events
· To work alongside colleagues on the delivery of their events, including co-ordinating key tasks such as mailings, documentation and building event registration portals within EventsAIR, our events management software.
· To manage and monitor the Events and Conference inboxes, communicating with colleagues and supporters, as well as event participants and stakeholders. Responding to RSVPs and queries surrounding events.
· To source venues and suppliers for events that ensure best value for the charity and to ensure good record keeping of these contacts.
· To produce high quality support materials required for events, such as leaflets and merchandise, liaising with designers and suppliers and monitor the use of these across the charity.
· To prepare event documentation, including briefs, risk assessments and where applicable seating plans and supporting documentation if required.
· To attend some events; this may include some travel and work outside of ordinary working hours.
Team administration
· To maintain the events calendars, liaising with different teams within the organisation to keep these accurate and up to date.
· To maintain the Events Team’s folders, files and useful documents such as templates and ‘how to guides’.
· To manage the team’s Intranet page making sure that the content is up to date.
· To manage the resources for events and review the materials on a regular basis to see if they are fit for purpose.
· To ensure accurate record keeping of events activity on the fundraising database.
· To use the database to monitor and report on events activity and to manage communications for events.

‘To exist for the benefit of all women and their children who have /or are experiencing physical, mental financial or sexual abuse in their relationships and to offer support, information, advice, access to temporary accommodation and aftercare’.
Job Summary
To support the aims and principles of Aylesbury Women’s Aid including empowering and supporting women and their children in making their own decisions and taking control of their own lives and to meet the practical and emotional needs of the women who live in the refuge through support, advocacy and advice.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. To help women settle into the refuge and create situations where women can be supported, share their experiences and explore the choices open to them.
2. Taking key-worker responsibility for 3 women by:
· Following all interview and admittance procedures with each resident interview
· Developing a Support and Action Plan with each resident
· Developing a Risk Assessment Management Plan when necessary
· Continuing to support key clients by regularly reviewing Support and Risk Assessment Plans.
· Offering some general support on a day-to-day basis.

3. To support and respond to the needs of the residents by:
· Providing legal, housing and welfare rights advice
· Providing advocacy and liaison with other agencies such as housing departments, solicitors, courts, social services etc.
· Providing information about local agencies and community resources
· Supporting residents to register and make claims for benefits or other rights.
· Ensuring that residents pay their rent and service charges
4. To take referrals from local women and find refuge space for women who need to move from the area and make referrals when appropriate.
5. To work within child protection requirements and procedures to ensure that children safeguarded and their welfare promoted whilst also supporting and meeting the needs of women.
6. To provide support and assistance to women moving on to new accommodation including:
· Ensuring all relevant forms are completed and giving advice on grants and second hand-furnishings.
· Providing transport when necessary.
· Assisting with initial household problems.
· Establishing any further needs and offering continued support.
7. To participate in creating an atmosphere in the refuge which will enable families to live together by encouraging women and children to respect each other and by attending and participating in regular house meetings.
8. To carry out extra agreed tasks to ensure the smooth running of the refuge which could include:
- Updating Routes to Support
- Attending and taking notes for house meetings
- Collecting, distributing and recording post
- Emergency First Aider for the refuge
- Ensuring that the First Aid Box is correctly and adequately stocked
- Facilitating Freedom Programme in the refuge
- Keeping bed space books up to date
- Recording incoming payments
9. To liaise with relevant local agencies and community groups to ensure productive and collaborative working and attend relevant meetings as required.
10. To keep monitoring and statistical information to enable the evaluation of the effectiveness of the service and to produce reports as required.
11. To raise awareness of the issues of domestic abuse and its effect on children through
direct service provision and promote Aylesbury Women’s Aid where appropriate.
12. To work flexibly between the hours of 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 1pm

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our organisational operations, including finance, HR, governance, compliance and risk. You will ensure strong systems, controls and processes that enable excellent delivery across an international organisation.
Key responsibilities

Lead organisational operations across finance, HR, IT, legal, admin and key systems

Own budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audit and treasury/controls

Strengthen UK charity governance, policies, compliance and risk management

Oversee contracts, procurement, supplier management and external advisers

Lead people operations across multiple jurisdictions (including Employer of Record arrangements)
About you

Track record in UK charity governance/compliance and international operations
- Senior operational leader with strong financial and people management experience

Confident working across complex stakeholder environments and multi-country teams
-
Clear communicator, pragmatic problem-solver, calm under pressure
