About you:

• Experience of supporting clients to carry out tasks such as budgeting, calculating benefit entitlements and understanding rent arrears and housing options.

Role Requirements

The Deputy Head of Care (Registered Manager) will work collaboratively within the Nursing Directorate, reporting directly to the Head of Care, to develop and implement strategies that enhance service delivery while safeguarding the welfare of children and young people. Key Responsibilities

Oversight of the Spear Programme

• As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work
• Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach
• Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education

Partnership liaison and relationship management

• Establish the primary local referral agencies and steward relationships with these, overseeing and building a strategy to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective
• Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network

Line Management and training

• Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development
• Be line managed by Resurgo on Spear Programme performance and ongoing operations of the centre, and report back on KPIs

Church Community

• The Spear Centre Manager is directly employed by Alive Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
• You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members and help the Spear Coach to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme
• Ensure the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church; this may involve attending church events and speaking at services

Site management 

• Work with the Church to coordinate the training room and any infrastructure needs for the Spear Centre

As Data and Insights Manager, you will make sure our system remains fit for purpose and help turn data into meaningful insights that can inform decision-making.

Salesforce and systems development

• Collaborate with external Salesforce development consultants to continue building our system capabilities and design.

Team leadership and support

About this job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Income and Gift Aid Accountant Assistant to help us make sure every penny counts in our mission to stop MS. You'll play a key role in managing our income processing and supporting Gift Aid claims to help us maximise the value of every donation.

You'll ensure that donations recorded in our CRM system match the funds received, resolving discrepancies and supporting our income processes to run efficiently. Working closely with our Customer Services and Fundraising teams you’ll be at the heart of making sure our financial data is accurate and robust.

You’ll also assist with preparing and checking Gift Aid claims, helping us claim back vital extra funds at no additional cost to our supporters. Your detail driven approach will help us continue to build a strong and transparent foundation for everything we do.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a good understanding of financial accounting principles, strong Excel and IT skills, and a collaborative problem-solving approach. Excellent communication and organisational skills will also be essential as you work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure our income records are accurate and efficient.

This role is available on a 12-month fixed term contract and full-time basis. The salary band on offer for this role is £36,400. This role has hybrid working arrangements where you would be required to attend their Kings Cross, London office 2 days a week.
 
This Programmes Manager role will play a key role in the delivery of the bequests and gifts programme.
 
Within this role, you will work with the Senior Programmes Manager to manage relationships with donors, solicitors, executors, providing key advice and regular updates. You will have your own caseload of singular pieces of art to large bequests. You will support with reviewing and making improvements to programme strategies.
 
You will undertake research on specific works of art, to evaluate if they would be suitable for museums and advise donors on suitable housing of their valuable pieces. You will also disseminate information about successful gifts and bequests to internal stakeholders.
 
To be successful within this role, you will have demonstrable interest the visual arts, heritage or museums and galleries sector. You will have solid experience in arts administration, grant-making and/or collections management.
 
You will have experience of working with committees, trustees or donors or other external stakeholders. You will have the ability to manage budgets. You will have strong project management skills and experience using Microsoft Office. You will strong time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
 
Desirably, you will have knowledge of managing gifts, bequests or legacies of works of art. You will have experience using grant management/CMS databases or Adobe Acrobat.

Based in Surrey, the Orpheus Centre is an independent specialist college and charity that focuses on developing independence skills through performing and visual arts and makes dramatic improvements to young disabled adults’ lives.  We are currently looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to develop, coordinate and deliver the charity’s fundraising events and orchestrate experiences from initial concept to post event analysis. This includes pre-event planning and development, concept development and proposal.

Working closely with the Head of Capital Appeal and Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, you will design and deliver events which steward and develop key contacts as part of our Capital Appeal.

The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team.  You will be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks.

35 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

This is a key role at NFF designing, delivering and reviewing our Training Programs and ensuring continuous improvement for our staff. This role will also develop an external training program for delivery to our partners and clients

Responsibilities

· Design & Implement Staff Training Programs: Develop training modules for staff in areas such as health and safety, safety protocols, customer service, and leadership development.

· Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging, effective, and interactive training sessions for various teams, using a mix of in-person and digital delivery methods.

· Training Needs Analysis: Collaborate with Leadership Teams to identify specific training needs, evaluate employee skill gaps, and create tailored training solutions to address them.

The Service Manager role assumes responsibility for all aspects of SWAN’s West Berkshire statutory advocacy services. This includes IMCA, Paid Rep, Care Act and IMHA. Our Service Manager is also responsible for the delivery of SWAN’s social value projects in West Berkshire.
The role requires a positive approach and a high degree of personal responsibility. The Service Manager is responsible for the West Berkshire team’s performance. Service Managers are experienced and inspirational leaders. You will be working remotely, but within easy commuting distance of West Berkshire.  They have, or are willing to work towards, a level 5 management qualification.
