Since 2003, we have been harnessing the power of skiing & snowboarding to break down barriers, broaden horizons and address the biggest social issues facing underserved young people today.
The Programme Manager will deliver a personal development journey to young people using snowsports as the hook to engage those who are less likely to engage with mainstream provision. We do this in partnership with youth projects and youth service providers across London, running snowsports youth programmes from The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead.
This is a really exciting opportunity to play a key role in Snow Camp’s development in London. So, if you love working with young people and have solid experience delivering youth programmes, combined with a passion for snowsports – and if you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role working with a committed team of staff at Snow Camp and some amazing young people – this job could be the job for you!
Experience of working successfully with underserved young people in a range of settings will be essential to the post. Furthermore, experience within a snowsports field and passion for supporting young people generally will be a huge advantage!
Project management, logistical skills, relationship management, communication and presentation skills will all make up the job. Along with youth work experience to deliver life-skills or group workshops to motivate young people to work towards meaningful goals – these will all make up the job.
This is a key post requiring at least 2 years’ experience involving the above skills, together with proven project management and budgeting experience.

The purpose of the role
This role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of fundraising at the National Theatre, as we look to grow our income from individual members, major donors, trusts and corporate organisations.
Working with the Senior Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager, you will develop a strong fundraising pipeline that will ensure the team can reach their long-term targets.

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager, it is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Shop Manager in Surbiton's brand new Scope shop (Victoria Road, Surbiton, KT6 4NS). The shop will be opening mid 2024. You will be able to use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. THE ROLE
The Project Development Manager role is part of The Building Capacity Project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF), which seeks to develop the skills and capacity of communities on the west coast of Scotland to deliver the aims of the Alliance for Scotland’s Rainforest i.e. protect and restore Scotland’s globally important temperate rainforest. The Woodland Trust has secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) for this project's initial two-year ‘development’ phase.
The Project Development Manager will lead the development work, coordinating project partners to ensure the timely development of plans for the delivery and for the stage 2 funding bid to NLHF. They will oversee delivery of specific activities ensuring targets and timelines are adhered to and the prudent financial management of the development phase budget. They’ll produce reports and feedback to funders and the project board and steering group regarding progress as well as identifying opportunities to share best practice to maximise opportunities.
This is an 18 month fixed term position. Should our funding bid for the subsequent five-year ‘delivery’ phase be successful, we hope the PDM will remain in post to support the delivery of these plans.
THE CANDIDATE
You’ll have experience in project development, leadership and delivery in the environment, conservation or heritage sector including experience in managing contractors and consultants. You’ll have the ability to monitor, evaluate and learn from the project progress, using your excellent communication skills to report back to the funders and project board.
You will have experience building meaningful working relationships with a range of key stakeholders, engaging effectively with them to be involved and inspired by our work and ensuring maximised potential impact of the project. We are seeking a Head of IT to lead the technical delivery in support of our IT strategy. This is a new role and will be our first standalone IT member of staff. You will shape the IT support and infrastructure for the charity, deliver an excellent day to day service, manage the relationship with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), take responsibility for cyber security and training and, alongside project teams, support the implementation of new technology to the service.
You will have strong people skills and be able to form effective working relationships with colleagues across the charity in order to deliver an excellent IT service.
