About the Role
As Advice Supervisor you will be a key member of our Community Advice team, supervising and contributing to the delivery of our core service. You will help ensure we provide a quality advice service to Camden residents across face-to-face, telephone, video channels and other digital developments and ensure the targets, outputs and outcomes of all the generalist advice contracts and/or grant agreements are met.
Ideally, you will already be an experienced Advice Supervisor; however, we will consider offering this role as a development opportunity if you are an experienced Generalist Adviser wanting to progress your career. You will need to have experience in delivering high quality generalist advice and casework and be able to demonstrate the potential to support others with varying levels of experience to do the same.

Overview of the Regional Coordinator role and the team
The Regional Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Barnabas Aid by
building and nurturing relationships with churches, Christian organisations, and
individuals. The role aims to raise awareness, prayer, and financial support for the
persecuted church, fostering a network of engaged supporters and expanding the
organisation’s outreach.
Main duties and responsibilities
Strategy Implementation and Reporting:o Develop and execute regional outreach strategies aligned with organisational

Job Purpose
As Director of Partnerships, you will:

Key Responsibilities
Philanthropy Leadership
- Leads strategy, planning and operation of the major gift, trusts & foundations and corporate giving channels.
- Develops annual business plans and budgets in collaboration with the Executive Director (ED) and Executive Team.
- Strategically identifies and qualifies potential new donors to grow the prospect pipeline.
- Prepares development communications: solicitation and acknowledgement letters; case statements and proposals; stewardship reports; briefing notes; gift agreements.
- Identifies, cultivates, and solicits major gift commitments from high-net-worth individuals
- Monitors activity of the team, ensuring that benchmarks are achieved, including submission of solicitations, donor contacts and meetings, confirmations of donations, and other performance indicators as related to the team checking their portfolio.

Role Summary
As our Bid Writer, you will strategically lead AWN’s fundraising support to grassroots primarily Muslim-led organisations. You will help shape the service and act as the primary advisor on grant funding, deliver high-quality bids, and build AWN’s capacity to increase the flow of resources into underserved communities. - 4-day/32-hour work week. Since April 1st, 2024, Safer London has transitioned to a 4 day working week with no impact on pay. This means that you will have a regular day off in the week with no impact on your pay.
- Agile working. This means you have will have the flexibility to work in different locations including from home, our office in Southwark and/or community locations (libraries/co-working spaces) when you are not delivering face to face work in the community.
