The role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join us as Head of Sector Development. This pivotal leadership role will drive the delivery and growth of our professional services, shaping how the profession attracts, develops, and retains talent. You will play a critical role in ensuring CILIP continues to set the standard in professional development, assessment, and workforce support, enhancing the value we offer to members, employers, learning providers, and wider stakeholders.

As Head of Sector Development, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver and evolve a portfolio of services that support career progression, professional registration, accreditation, training, and sector-wide standards. You will take ownership of the Professional Knowledge and Skills Base (PKSB), ensuring it remains relevant, robust, and at the heart of our service offer. You will work closely with learning and employer partners, member networks, and other professional communities to strengthen talent pathways, while ensuring that our services are accessible, inclusive, and aligned with market need.
You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the sector development function, reporting on its impact and outcomes, and driving commercial growth through effective product design and service delivery. Your leadership will ensure that quality assurance standards are upheld across all services, while also championing the importance of professionalism and ethical practice throughout the sector.

Pembroke College, Oxford, is seeking a motivated and highly organised individual to join its Development team as a Development Coordinator. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience in fundraising, alumni relations, and stewardship within a busy, supportive team.

The Development Coordinator is a key member of the Development team, providing essential administrative support across alumni relations, donor stewardship, fundraising operations, and office management. Key responsibilities

Alumni Relations
- Manage the Development team inbox and act as the main point of contact for Pembroke’s alumni and other supporters by email, phone, and in person.
- Deal with external communications to the office and forward queries to the appropriate colleague where required.
- Produce briefing notes for the Master, Fellows, and other key staff and volunteers prior to events for alumni relations, stewardship, and fundraising purposes.
- Ensure that the alumni pages of the College website are kept up-to-date and contribute to the generation of online content for social media.
- Process credit card payments for events and ensure accurate records are kept and card details handled securely.
- Provide administrative support to the Pembroke College Ambassador programme.
Operations and Office Management

- Process updates to contact and other details submitted by alumni.
- Deal with payment and pledge-related queries from donors and potential donors.
- Ensure that the database is maintained with accurate and up-to-date details on Pembroke alumni and other constituents.
- Provide logistical support for overseas trips and other visits undertaken by Development staff.
- Take minutes for meetings of the Campaign Board, Development Committee, Alumni Advisory Board, and other groups.
Internal collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the wider team and colleagues across Pembroke, supporting work outside your functional area where necessary.

The newly appointed Data Analyst will lead the development of the ministry’s data collection and analysis function. You will be a key element in ensuring we have the right data, at the right time, with the right people who have the right understanding.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain our data model to gain insight and understanding into the ministry’s performance.
• Provide expert data insights to inform evidence-based decision making.
• Build clear reporting to assist SLT, National Directors and department heads in recognising and understanding key insights and drivers.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor outreach and operational performance.
• Work across the ministry to enhance and advance data usage and governance.
• Collaborate with departments within the ministry to enhance understanding of and gain insights from the data model
Person Requirement
- Expertise in statistical analysis and data modelling in relation to campaign analysis, segmentation and propensity modelling.
- Experience and expertise utilising data-analysis tools such as Power Bi.
- Strong background in analysing large volumes of data, both quantitative and qualitative demonstrating an ability to identify valuable and actionable insights.
- An effective communicator, both verbally and in writing. Able to work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders and the SLT in assisting them in understanding and leveraging data analysis results.
- Success in promoting culture change across teams with relation to evidence-based decision making and excellence in delivery.
- Able to manage multiple projects, identifying and prioritising opposing demands.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a numerate discipline such as maths or statistics

To deliver the role successfully, you will need:
- Proven fundraising experience, particularly in church, faith-based fundraising, including donor acquisition and regular giving programs, donor stewardship, and income growth strategies.
- Experience of managing fundraising budgets
- Understanding of All We Can’s unique partnership approach
- Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire church leaders and congregations.
- Experience leading and developing a team, with strong coaching and mentoring abilities and ability to set clear goals, drive performance, and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Ability to analyse fundraising performance, using data insights to refine campaigns and maximise return on investment.
- Deep practical understanding and relationships with the Methodist Church.
