For a large international organisation, we are recruiting an Interim Group Financial Controller to focus on their short-term cash flow forecast model, intercompany, and trapped cash. Critically, this role will fully implement and embed the use of a 13-week short term cashflow forecast and will oversee the cash repatriation to the UK from overseas entities, liaising with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Group Statutory Reporting, and the MSP. The Group Financial Controller will also lead monthly close, balance sheet integrity, intercompany processes and compliance, and develop insight and understanding of the company's working capital to drive initiatives to optimise.
Main Duties:
- Fully develop and embed the short-term 13-week cash flow forecast and process notes with the goal of transferring this to the MSP

The Role:
The CEO will be responsible for leading the strategic growth, fundraising, and external engagement of More Than a Roof. This role will focus on developing and communicating the charity’s mission, building strong partnerships, and securing funding to expand our impact across the UK.

Information about the Job Role
This full-time role will be best suited for applicants who are able to balance a busy work schedule being both office based and community based, working mainly with Primary and Secondary aged children and their families, and delivering workshops and one to one support in Croydon based Primary and Secondary Schools, and at CDI sites. The MA, alongside a number of partners, are working to expand and develop how we support mathematics education. Central to this is the joint development of a new association that will bring together people from across the whole mathematics education community.
To help us achieve this, we are looking for an experienced and empathetic Operations & Change Manager to lead the successful integration of two office locations and staff teams within our association. This is a key short-term role, supporting both the practical and people aspects of the merger, ensuring minimal disruption to services and a smooth transition for staff and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in change management or organisational development, ideally within the voluntary or public sector, and a passion for values-led leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Planning

Develop and deliver a clear, time-bound transition plan for the merger of two offices and their staff teams, which total around 10 staff.

Coordinate the logistical aspects of the merger, including workspace planning, IT/data transfers, supplier liaison and operational systems.

Ensure day-to-day services continue to run smoothly throughout the transition.
Staff Integration & Communication

Work closely with the CEO to support team alignment, role clarity, and internal communications.

Offer interim line management, support and/or supervision to a small staff team

Facilitate team-building and change management initiatives to support culture integration.
Stakeholder Engagement

Provide regular updates to the CEO and trustees.

Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure buy-in and transparency.

Maintain clear and open communication channels across both merging offices.
Reporting & Handover

Track and report progress against key milestones.

Identify risks and mitigation strategies as the merger progresses.

Proven experience managing organisational change projects or mergers, ideally in the charity or non-profit sector.
