Role details:
The BDA is seeking a new Research Manager to work as part of the Education and Professional Practice Team, leading on the research and impact activities of professional dietetic practice. The role will also provide line management within the team.
The role will support the BDA’s Strategic Plan 2024-34 and lead the growth and delivery of the annual Research Symposium. The role will suit a candidate with a sound understanding and experience of the breadth of dietetic practice and research, and the factors that influence it. Working innovatively the post holder will develop and progress research within dietetic practice, building confidence in the dietetic workforce to be research active.
Ideal candidate:
We are looking for somebody who is an expert in research methodologies, and appraisal and is comfortable setting and influencing research strategy. Ideally we would like somebody who has or is studying for their doctorate in dietetics and experience working in a practice setting would be advantageous. This is a senior internal and external facing role working alongside the Director of Education Practice and Research, and the Education and Practice Managers. The candidate will enjoy supporting colleagues and members to engage and deliver research related projects, and demonstrate impact through evidence-based practice.

Mental Wellbeing Manager
Job Summary:
The Mental Wellbeing Manager will lead Manor Gardens’ culturally competent, trauma-informed mental health work with young men aged 18–25 funded by City Bridge Foundation, and oversee our wider wellbeing programme, funded through other sources including individual giving. They will be responsible for delivering early intervention and therapeutic support for young men from Black and minoritised backgrounds and refugees and asylum seekers, while also managing the delivery of a broader programme of community wellbeing activities for adults.
The postholder will line-manage two Activities Workers and have oversight of a pool of sessional staff and volunteers delivering peer support, group activities, and therapeutic interventions. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health, experience in group and 1-to-1 support, and a commitment to culturally competent, person-centred approaches.

Role Overview and Purpose:
The Mental Health Nurse is a key member of our team, focused on delivering high-quality mental health services to young men in the community. This role requires a proactive approach to engage with individuals who have not previously accessed mainstream mental health support, using culturally sensitive methods to build trust and promote mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
1. City Bridge Mental Health Programme Delivery (50%)
· Ensure the effective delivery of therapeutic and early intervention support for young men aged 18–25, including one-to-one and group support.
· Oversee work delivered by sessional psychotherapeutic staff and ensure quality, safeguarding, and continuity.
· Facilitate or coordinate safe, inclusive peer support spaces in community settings.
· Use culturally competent and trauma-informed practices to build trust and engagement among the target group.

· Oversee the accredited training of 16 young adults as Peer Mental Health Mentors (two cohorts) in partnership with CANDI and ensure additional training in safeguarding, cultural competency and equalities
· Provide 121 support to Peer Mental Health Mentors and ensure they access clinical supervision
3. Management of Wellbeing Team and Sessional Staff (20%)
· Line-manage two Activities Workers responsible for delivering adult wellbeing activities (e.g. gardening, yoga, ESOL, conversation cafés).
· Provide supervision, direction, and support to ensure delivery aligns with MGWT’s values and trauma-informed approach.
· Oversee a pool of sessional facilitators and volunteers, ensuring coordination, safeguarding, and quality of delivery.
· Support co-production and ensure wellbeing activities are shaped by the voices of service users with lived experience.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation (10%)
· Maintain accurate records of all therapy sessions, assessments, and referrals.

The Public Affairs Manager will be a key member of our busy External Affairs Team within the wider Policy and External Affairs directorate.
Reporting to the joint Heads of Public Affairs & Stakeholder Relations, and working closely with communications and public policy colleagues, you will play an essential role in enabling and driving engagement with parliamentary, government, political and sector stakeholders.
You will be politically astute, with experience engaging across Westminster and Whitehall with competent written and communication skills, able to both brief and prepare senior leaders within the organisation for key engagement activities as well as meeting stakeholders independently as appropriate.
Strong organisational, people and project management skills are essential; you will be responsible for managing dedicated key influencing ‘moments’ with stakeholders and partners, such as organising and managing panel events, roundtables, webinars and showcase programme visits. We are looking for a Communications and Social Media Manager (Maternity Cover) to join the dynamic communications team at London's historic food market. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of Borough Market's communications function in a hands-on and creative role which directly shapes how people see and feel about the most famous market in the UK.

Core responsibilities within your role will be to:
- Develop, manage and execute BM's organic social plans to help to deliver BM's purpose and key messages to customers and audiences
- Deliver social and traditional PR content and influencer marketing to communicate the Market's key messages
- Manage and implement the Market's social media and communications activities in line with the Trust's strategic plan
- Manage external filming requests and report internally on press and social media coverage
- Develop and manage collaborative and partnership working arrangements with a wide range of external stakeholders; ensuring BM's purpose and aims are communicated effectively and consistently to influencers, supporters and the media
- Manage relationships with relevant agencies including social media and content creation

- Support the Head of Communications and Marketing in the execution of the corporate and crisis communications strategy
- Support the Marketing and Events Manager to develop an external and internal events programme to assist in the delivery of the BM's societal and charitable aims for visitors, traders, tenants and staff
- Champion the Borough Market brand including across all social media channels
- Support the Board and Senior Management team (SMT) to build the organisation's brand and values
- Deputise for the Head of Communications and Marketing as required
- Provide guidance and advice to SMT on social media issues
You will need to be a talented and creative social media expert who can help cultivate a thriving culture of engagement across the Market's community of staff, traders and visitors. You will be a team player collaborating with the wider team on creating engaging content to ensure that Borough Market's story is as visible to priority audiences as possible.
Applicants will need to have a strong social media background and creative digital skills. Experience in a similar role or environment as well as outstanding communications skills, a self-starter approach and a keen interest in food and drink are essential.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional based on the East Coast to both drive high-impact new business from corporations and major donors and build our visibility and external communications to support that goal. This is a hybrid role, balancing strategic digital marketing, brand-building and media engagement with income generation, deepening existing relationships with key stakeholders, establishing new partnerships and increasing our visibility.
This is a new position for Street Child, complementing our existing presence on the West Coast. The successful candidate will need to be a strong all-rounder, able to excel in a variety of work areas, although the role will work closely with and be supported by global communications, marketing and corporate fundraising teams, with existing strategies, materials and platforms to leverage and tailor to a US audience.
While this role is not office-based, the successful candidate will be located in or around NYC or DC.
Key Responsibilities:
Major Gift Fundraising (50%)
- Identify, cultivate, and secure partnerships with corporations and major donors, aligning their CSR goals and giving priorities with our mission.
- Leverage existing partnerships and relationships with corporations and major donors to grow a wider network of US-based corporations.
- Develop and manage sponsorship opportunities for campaigns, programs and events.
- Oversee all corporate engagement activities, including employee giving, volunteering and cause marketing campaigns.
- Develop and deliver corporate events to build relationships with and raise funds from our developing network of US-based corporations.
- Collaborate with corporate partners to enhance their internal communications strategies, driving awareness and engagement among their employees around shared initiatives.
- Craft compelling proposals, pitches and presentations for potential partners.
- Steward relationships successfully to ensure long-term impact and retention.
- Track partnership impact, prepare reports and communicate successes to internal and external stakeholders including funding partners and Street Child’s Board of Directors.

Communications & Marketing (50%)
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Drive digital marketing campaigns across key channels, leveraging analytics to optimize performance.
- Lead content creation efforts, including blogs, case studies, impact stories, newsletters and press releases.
- Build and execute a strategy for growing Street Child’s share of voice in the sector, engaging with media and industry influencers.
- Work with external web developers to manage and enhance website content, SEO and UX to improve engagement and conversion.
- Monitor trends, conduct competitor analysis, and identify opportunities to position Street Child as a thought leader.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong track record of securing major gifts ($100,000+) from corporations and individuals, including strategic partnerships, sponsorships and events.
- High-level strategic thinking and planning.
- Experience in a similar role across fundraising and marketing.
- Proven success in driving digital marketing strategies, growing brand awareness, and managing media relations.
- Excellent storytelling skills with experience in content creation, social media management and PR, and media connections.
- Experience using digital tools such as Google Analytics, email marketing platforms and social media management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to prepare and publicly present materials.
