Karibuni Children, a UK registered charity, works to help Kenyan children from some of the poorest backgrounds, to fulfil their potential and release themselves from the cycle of poverty. Job Description

Role purpose:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration & Operations
● Develop and maintain effective and efficient administrative systems

Fundraising
● Ensure postings to CRM are accurate and reconcile to financial systems
● Manage receipts from online sites and ensure that CRM system is updated accordingly

● Organise and manage Karibuni’s own-organised fundraising events, marketing events on internal and external platforms, registering participants, overseeing risk assessments, and maintaining related records.

Marketing & Communications

The Responsibilities

The Right Candidate

The Mencap Community and Events Team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and passionate fundraiser, dedicated to raising as much funds as possible to help make the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability to join our team as Senior Community Fundraising Manager covering England and Wales.
Covering the England and Wales the Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for managing various income streams across the Community portfolio working closely with the wider team.

Duties and key responsibilities:

1.Design:

2.Project management:

3.Collaboration:
- Work with the lead designer at Parentkind to support on projects, refine design outputs and deliver work within the Parentkind brand and to deadlines

This role is key to Alzheimer’s Society’s ambitions to drive major, and positive, change at a national level particularly across Wales at an exciting time in dementia policy.
The National Influencing Manager will play a central role in ensuring what the Society thinks about the big issues affecting people affected by dementia is acted upon by national decision makers. - Develop the project plan and ensure that the right governance structure for project management is in place and RSPB internal project management practices are followed, so that the project stays on track, comes in on budget and risks are identified, escalated, and managed within tolerances.
- Work with local environmental networks to build a picture of nature-based activities available and identify opportunities for partnership working.
- Lead on developing ways to evaluate and measure the impact of the project, including engaging with those prescribing and local communities to gather stories and case studies that demonstrate the benefits to wellbeing and connectedness to nature.
- Build internal relationships with RSPB employees and volunteers working with nature prescribing and nature and wellbeing across the UK.

It will be the Individual Giving Manager’s responsibility to generate significant income through individual gifts, campaigns and appeals, regular giving, in memoriam giving, lottery and legacies, and to increase activity and income from these sources.
