About the Technical Team
The PEAS Technical Team is a small group of experts who work to continually strengthen PEAS’ impact across our network of schools and beyond. The team supports education leads in Uganda, Zambia and Ghana to design and implement high impact education programmes, provides technical education and monitoring and evaluation advice, designs and runs research projects, supports collaborative partnerships with governments and other organisations, and proactively shares our evidence and know-how with partners and the international education community.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting 6-month role within the Global Technical Team, with the possibility of extension for a further 6 months. As a Technical Team Associate, you will work with leads in Uganda, Zambia, Ghana and the UK to support PEAS to grow its impact. You will develop content for strategic education projects, support the design of new education programmes, and contribute to project monitoring and evaluation to ensure ongoing learning is generated in relation to our education programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tool and content development for strategic projects in collaboration with UK colleagues and programme leads in Uganda and Zambia to address priority areas of improvement. This could include designing content for educational software, supporting the design and implementation of activities under our girls approach, and designing trainings and guidance materials based on best practice.
- Develop training resources for teachers and leaders, including training manuals and presentations to support colleagues to deliver virtual or in-person training.
- Review external studies to ensure an updated library of relevant research.
- Support the development and adaptation of surveys and forms for data collection.
- Assist with the analysis of survey and other quantitative and qualitative data, including data cleaning and presenting analysis in PowerPoint presentations.
- Support coordination of research and evaluation projects.
- Coordinate and minute meetings relating to programme implementation and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL).
- Support PEAS’ research and documentation of potential new countries for operations.
- Contribute to PEAS’ Thought Leadership work by drafting blogs, abstracts and presentations.

The Purpose of the Role
IRC’s External Relations (ER) department brings together Fundraising, Communications and Policy & Advocacy functions. With the aim to raise money, awareness and influence for crisis-affected populations worldwide, the department combines knowledge and expertise across multiple national markets.
The IRC fundraising teams are comprised of colleagues and teams working in the USA, UK, Germany, Sweden and Korea as well as emerging markets delivering direct marketing, content, account management, philanthropy, board liaison, corporate as well as trust and foundation partnerships to support IRC’s national fundraising strategies.
The IRC’s private fundraising capability in the UK has grown significantly over the past five years. Ambitious growth plans are in place to deliver increasing income from the private sector as part of an exciting global External Relations strategy.
The Director of UK Mass Markets is responsible for the leadership and direction of the Mass Markets team in the UK and for securing long-term sustainable income for the IRC through individual donor acquisition, retention and supporter care. You will lead and develop a high-performing team by growing mass marketing audiences and income, developing exciting and targeted campaigns, identifying opportunities for product, channel and audience diversification, and championing UX and a supporter centric fundraising model. The Director will also serve as a key partner to the UK Executive Director as they facilitate cross-team collaboration, accountability and success among all private fundraising teams in the UK (Philanthropy, Global Corporate Partnerships, Foundations & Trusts and Mass Markets). The Director will play a leadership role in IRC UK more widely as a member of the UK Senior Management Team (UKSMT). The UKSMT is collectively responsible for achieving the cross-functional goals of IRC UK’s strategy and actively fostering an inclusive workplace at IRC UK.

Scope and Authority
This position has responsibility for delivering the UK Mass Market team strategy and targets and Supporter Care within the overarching Global Mass Markets strategy and UK Strategic Plan.

Key Accountabilities
· Aligned to the overall Global External Relations Strategy, develop, implement, monitor and report on IRC UK’s fundraising and supporter engagement strategy.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

International Finance Manager

Role Purpose
As International Finance Manager, you will work alongside the UK Finance Manager overseeing the full lifecycle of all financial transactions with particular focus on funder grants managed through HOST — across both Project Hosting and Hosted Grantmaking services. You’ll ensure every grant is managed with accuracy, compliance, and care so that funds reach the world’s change-makers safely, transparently, and on time.
You will be responsible for ensuring that funder requirements, hosted partner needs, and HOST’s financial integrity align seamlessly. This means managing due diligence, contracting, reporting, and financial monitoring for all funder grants — whether they are received on behalf of a single hosted partner or distributed through multi-grant programmes.
Working at the heart of the Delivery Circle, you’ll collaborate with the Partnerships, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure HOST’s grant management systems are reliable, scalable, and trusted — enabling funders and movements alike to focus on what matters most: delivering impact.
Core Responsibilities
1. Grant Lifecycle Management (Project Hosting & Hosted Grantmaking)

Manage the end-to-end administration of all funder grants, from due diligence and contracting to financial tracking, reporting, and closure.

As part of our annual leave policy, all employees receive three additional days of annual leave on top of their standard allocation of 25 days. These days are designated to cover the period when our UK office closes between Christmas and New Year, allowing all UK WaterAiders to take a well-deserved break.
These days are automatically scheduled and cannot be changed or moved. Annual leave is accrued based on your start date. If sufficient leave has not been accrued by the time of the closure, the 3 days will be taken as unpaid leave or pro-rated, depending on your circumstances.

About the role
Reporting in to the Government and Parliamentary Lead, the role of Parliamentary and Influencing Advisor is a key member of the Policy and Influencing team.
The role enables effective coordination, development and delivery of Christian Aid’s engagement and influencing strategies that supports with maximising impact and the post-holder will provide key collaborative support both organisationally and operationally for influencing and engagement outputs, including drafting briefings and setting up meetings (attending where necessary).
Some of the key responsibilities of the role of Parliamentary and Influencing Advisor are:
- Supports UK influencing unit to build relationships and access to key influencers in government, churches, private sector, INGO sector, Think Tanks, and Civil Society that will maximise impact aligning with organisational values and goals.
- Develop and deliver both influencing and engagement projects, including CAW parliamentary event, mass lobbies of parliamentary and private sector engagement initiatives, all of which align with organisational values and goals.
- Collaborate with the global influencing team to ensure coordination of activities and communications with MCC’s, and build relationships based on trust and openness.
About you
Who we are looking for:
Essential:
- Degree level qualification in a relevant field.
- Significant experience of working in advocacy, influencing and communication.
- Significant experience of working in an NGO, public policy, government or the private sector.
- Detailed understanding of NGO networks and coalitions working in UK advocacy on related issues.
- Detailed understanding of Westminster, Whitehall and international policy.
- Detailed understanding of how policy change happens and of how to develop effective influencing strategies.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly developed experience of building constructive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly developed project management skills and experience of organising events, and delivering projects collaboratively within agreed budgets and timeframes.

Purpose of the Role
You will support the Director and Board of Trustees with the day-to-day running of the charity,and help us grow a strong and diversified network of partners and funders.
Job Description
- You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the charity ensuring that they align with the charity mission and values at all times;
- You will work closely with the Director and Chair to prioritise and implement the charity strategies;
- You will work closely with the Director and Board of Trustees to oversee and sometimes lead tasks or projects, ensuring deadlines and charity goals are met;
- You will proactively seek opportunities for partnerships and innovations to present to the Director and Board of Trustees and plan their implementation.
- You will build and maintain relationships with affiliated organisations (current and new) by regularly keeping in touch with them and suggesting opportunities for collaboration and events;
- You will proactively seek bid applications and funding opportunities for the charity, and lead on funding and grant applications;
- You will identify staff/volunteer gaps and oversee the recruitment process while carrying out due diligence checks (or check that this has been done);
- You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including managing the organisation of meetings; sharing of minutes and action plans; responding to general enquiries.
