The Initiatives and Partnerships Manager plays a key role in the Trust’s Initiatives and Partnerships Team. The post holder will support the development and implementation of the Trust’s projects, manage team members and on occasion support external and partnership projects. Our work is varied, ranging from early-stage feasibility planning, partnership development, fundraising, business planning and design development, as well as supporting our conservation team who lead construction phase oversight. 

This role builds on the successes of the Trust’s longstanding Regeneration programme, which has undertaken pioneering Regeneration projects addressing some of our most pressing conservation needs, as well as developing new operating models for some of the churches in our care. The job will support our regional teams in developing and implementing projects to deliver a range of conservation, social and regeneration benefits; with the balance of each responding to local need, demand and opportunity.

In addition, it encompasses the work undertaken to develop new commercial income opportunities. Examples are our groundbreaking Champing™ initiative, as well as others such as filming, and other commercial partnerships.

Peaches Womb Cancer Trust is looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager who is passionate about developing accessible and relevant assets that reach all current and future stakeholders of our charity. This is a hands-on, creative role that would suit someone passionate about social media, marketing, and making a difference in the lives of others.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with prior experience in marketing and communications to enhance their skills in the charity sector and help raise awareness of womb cancer, and Peaches, with all audiences within a brilliant organisation!

You will undertake a wide range of marketing and communications activities and have an opportunity to inform our direction of travel. The role is part time, working remotely with a requirement to attend regular team meetings in the Greater Manchester area. 

It is crucial that anyone at risk of, living with and living beyond womb cancer has a clear understanding of Peaches’ mission, vision and support. In this role, you will develop our marketing and communications strategy; planning and implementing tailored activity. You will be responsible for growing the online presence of Peaches Womb Cancer Trust and deepening engagement with stakeholders, ensuring our message reaches the right audiences in the most effective ways. You will also have prime responsibility for managing our social media channels, creating digital content and campaigns that raise awareness, promote fundraising and share the stories of those we support.

You will work closely with our Clinical Nurse Specialist and Operations Executive and will be responsible for ensuring that we have the assets and materials we need to achieve maximum sustainable impact for the charity. You will work within our branding guidelines and budget to build upon our previous assets and materials, increasing engagement across all platforms including the media. You will also work with national and international partners on joint campaigns, press releases and events. This is a varied and exciting role. There’s never a dull moment at Peaches!

Location:  Hybrid working - Part London office-based and part home working. The post holder will work a minimum of one day a week in the office. 

Salary: £31,800 per annum

Overview 

We are seeking a highly organised, values-led Administrative Support Officer to provide essential administrative, financial, and coordination support to ensure the smooth and effective day-to-day operations of WeProtect Global Alliance. 

In this new role, you will join our small, remote Secretariat and support administration, finance, staff coordination and meetings, helping the team work efficiently while upholding a strong commitment to child protection and the mission and values of WeProtect Global Alliance.

Job description 

Overall purpose of role 

The Administrative Support Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective day-to-day running of WeProtect Global Alliance. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Operations, this new role provides wide-ranging support across administration, finance, HR, and team coordination, ensuring that internal processes run efficiently in a dynamic, remote working environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Administrative and Operational Support 

• Provide general administrative support to the Secretariat, including correspondence, maintaining organisational records and policies, and managing virtual offices. 

• Schedule and coordinate Board and FRAC meetings, including preparing materials and accurate minute-taking. 

• Support the organisation of retreats, away days, and staff travel, as well as managing the Monday meeting rota and staff engagement activities. 

• Order equipment, business cards, and other items for staff as needed, and maintain the fixed asset register. 

• Provide ad-hoc support to the Communications Lead, assisting with administrative tasks, coordination, and document preparation as required. 

Finance and Contracts Administration 

• Support financial processes by coding and processing invoices, expenses, and receipts, assisting with monthly financial consolidation, and coding income allocations. 

• Provide support with audits (UK and Stichting), intercompany transfers, payroll variance checks, and day-to-day banking. 

• Assist with contract administration and supplier relationships, including account management (e.g. CloudTech24, Signeasy). 

• Support payment approvals and processing in Telleroo, and contribute to accurate record-keeping for budget and compliance purposes. 

Staff and HR Support 

• Support recruitment processes, including the administrative aspects of staff onboarding and offboarding. 

• Assist with payroll payment processing, insurance management, and HR compliance for UK and Irish staff. 

• Help coordinate staff support initiatives, such as leaving gifts and team events. 

Team Coordination and Events Support 

• Organise and support regular team meetings. 

• Circulate new policies, processes, and organisational updates to ensure staff remain well-informed. 

• Contribute to the delivery of the biennial Global Summit and other major events where required. 

Process Improvement and Capability Building 

• Work closely with the Deputy Head of Operations to strengthen operational systems and ensure effective, compliant day-to-day management. 

• Support internal training initiatives to build staff capability in finance, HR, and operational processes. 

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practice across the organisation.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and working closing with the CEO, COO, Executive team and members of our Board and Development Advisory Board, the Executive Director, Development will shape and drive a roadmap for this next stage of our philanthropic activity.  Working as part of the Executive Team, you will exemplify the highest standard of professional integrity and represent the Foundation to senior stakeholders both internally and externally.  With the support of a dedicated team and expertise of your peers, you will devise, implement and oversee an ambitious philanthropy strategy, underpinned by the appropriate fundraising policies, procedures and records including due diligence; raise the capital required to meet the Foundation’s fundraising targets; maintain detailed and up to date projections; own donor/prospect relationships; and communicate effectively to these stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will therefore be an experienced and entrepreneurial fundraising leader, who is equally adept at building significant philanthropic relationships as you are in meeting the operational requirements of an organisation of our size and complexity.  You will bring a track record of personally cultivating significant gifts, as well as leveraging and supporting key stakeholders and volunteers to support these activities.  Your international fundraising experience will be an added bonus, particularly with donors in North America.  With your highly developed diplomacy, tact, and sophisticated interpersonal skills, you understand and know how to get the best of people in support of the organisations you’ve represented.  In return, you will have the strong support of an experience Executive Team, a committed Board and Development Advisory group, and an exceptional organisation and brand to support these endeavours.

What you’ll do in your role as Finance Officer
In this varied role, you’ll work closely with the Finance & Pensions Manager, the Senior Finance Officer, and external accountants in Singapore. You’ll be responsible for keeping records accurate, supporting audits, and ensuring all international operations run smoothly.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
• Supporting budget preparation, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Monitoring cash flow and preparing branch expenditure reports
• Managing project costs and reporting to budget holders
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit processes
• Helping colleagues with expenses, invoicing, and finance systems

 
The skills you’ll bring to your role as Finance Officer will include:

• Part-qualified accountant status (AAT or equivalent minimum)
• Experience in management accounting and financial reporting, ideally with international or project accounting exposure
• Proficiency in Excel and finance systems such Sage Intacct/Yooz
• A detail-driven, analytical mindset and strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both financial and non-financial colleagues across different global locations.

Experience in the non-profit sector, or SME and knowledge of FRS102 would be an advantage, but not essential.
