Job description

Who We Are

MINDSET Charity is a new, volunteer‑run organisation dedicated to transforming men’s lives across England. We support men on their journeys of mental wellbeing and self‑improvement through workshops, creative programmes, and community‑building activities.

We are building a movement of resilience, dignity, and brotherhood. To make this possible, we need a committed Digital and IT Lead to build and maintain the digital systems that support our programmes, volunteers, and community.

The Role of Digital and IT Lead

As our Digital and IT Lead, you will:

  • Develop and maintain simple, reliable digital systems that support communication, service delivery, and volunteer coordination.

  • Oversee our digital tools — email, cloud storage, website, databases, and internal platforms — ensuring they are secure, accessible, and easy to use.

  • Support volunteers and staff with basic IT troubleshooting, onboarding, and digital training.

  • Ensure data protection, privacy, and cyber‑safety practices are upheld across the organisation.

  • Work closely with the leadership team to introduce new tools and technologies that strengthen our operations and community reach.

  • Champion our values of integrity, empowerment, and brotherhood through thoughtful, ethical use of technology.

This is a volunteer role, but your leadership will be the digital backbone of MINDSET — ensuring our systems are stable, our volunteers are supported, and our community can connect with confidence.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds who share our passion for men’s mental wellbeing and community empowerment.

Experience in IT support, digital systems, web management, or tech administration is valuable, but what matters most is your reliability, problem‑solving mindset, and commitment to building accessible, user‑friendly systems.

If you’re someone who enjoys creating order in the digital world and helping others feel confident with technology, this role will feel deeply rewarding.

Why Join Us

  • Shape the digital foundations of a pioneering charity at its earliest stage.

  • Play a vital role in ensuring our services, communications, and programmes run smoothly.

  • See your work directly support volunteers, participants, and community impact.

  • Collaborate with passionate volunteers united by vision, purpose, and brotherhood.

  • Help build a movement rooted in resilience, dignity, and hope.

How to Apply

If you’re ready to help build MINDSET Charity’s digital infrastructure and support the smooth running of our movement, we’d love to hear from you.

This is more than IT. It’s about creating stability, enabling connection, and ensuring every man who reaches out to MINDSET can access support with ease and dignity. Join us, and let’s build MINDSET together.
