About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Systems, Data and Insights to drive digital innovation, champion evidence-based decision making, and lead a high-performing team.

The Role

As one of two Finance Business Partners, the postholder is responsible for ensuring that Royal Museum Greenwich’s strategic ambitions are correctly planned for and that adequate financial resources are in place to achieve them.

Key elements of the role involve advising and supporting all staff with financial responsibilities to ensure that financial decisions are optimised and to keep relevant staff informed of key financial updates and changes, and to communicate any relevant changes to the rest of the Finance team.

Further core responsibilities include supporting assigned Heads of Departments and directors on all financial matters, advising on budgeting and forecasting, monitoring of actual results and ad hoc queries, and working as a team with the other Finance Business Partner, lead on the production of the monthly management accounts pack, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and incisive analysis and commentary.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with a demonstrable track record of working with non-finance managers to achieve high quality reporting, budgeting and forecasting, ideally within government bodies or heritage/cultural/charitable organisations. Excellent analytical skills, the ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders and solve problems are also essential.

This is a permanent full-time in Band 3 - Senior Management. Core hours of work will be 36 per week, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm, although due to the nature of the work, some flexibility may be required.

Salary: £51,500 per annum

About the Early Years Assistant role 

We are seeking enthusiastic bank staff to provide flexible cover for staff absences at our vibrant 59-place nursery, located in the Coin Street neighbourhood centre on London’s South Bank, just minutes from Waterloo and Blackfriars stations. As part of a dedicated team of educators supported by two experienced senior teachers, you will help ensure the smooth running of the nursery by assisting with mealtimes, activities, general care, and safeguarding the welfare of children. Our nursery is part of a wider Family and Children’s Centre, which offers holiday play schemes, activity camps, and a creche facility to support parents in training and development. Using our unique surroundings for real-life learning, we put each child at the centre of their learning journey. Cover will be provided on an ad hoc basis within our shift rota (8am–6pm).

We are looking for people to join our dedicated team providing vital person centred support to people experiencing homelessness in a Level 1 accommodation setting in Speedwell Bristol.

You will be joining a busy service working as a Night Concierge, you will:

• Provide a first point of contact and safeguarding to clients at night.
• Be responsible for dealing with emergencies, undertaking regular health and safety checks on patrols and through monitoring the CCTV system.
• Report incidents or maintenance issues and communicate any concerns or events to the rest of the team.
• This is a lone-working night role, with support available through an on-call system to ensure guidance and assistance is always accessible when needed.

Typical schedule: A rolling night shift rota, including weekends and bank holidays, usually around 9pm-7.30am with 3-4 days off.

 About you

This is a great role to learn about working in the charity sector, many of our specialist workers and managers developed a career after starting in Night Concierge roles.

• You don’t need loads of experience. Some time working or volunteering in a similar environment, and an understanding of the issues that affect vulnerable adults experiencing homelessness, who may have complex needs will be beneficial.
• You should have good communication and basic IT skills with the ability to keep records and follow procedures.
• The ability to stay alert and awake during your shift, and work independently.
• Using your initiative to remain calm to identify the appropriate action to take in various situations.

The Adanna Women’s Support Group provides training and skills to help women into employment and to help women excel in the jobs they are doing. Our training is in Business skills, administration, IT, childcare and employability.

We are looking for an employment coach who can support women who are economically inactive to improve their skills and find employment

The Role

This role will support a small caseload of women with a range of needs who are looking to move into work, enabling them to find the right opportunities and sustain the roles through improved skills training. The coach will also need to be skilled in working with employers to source jobs and support them to make their roles accessible. Growing and maintaining a strong employer base will be a central part of this role.

Minimum Criteria

· An understanding of the employment needs, and challenges faced by BAME women who are economically inactive or experience multiple barriers to employment.

· Experience of working with individuals on a one-to-one basis, developing personalised plans and goal setting

· Experience of managing a range of tasks at any one time, and holding positive relationships with different stakeholders

-Experience of designing and delivering entry level training e.g. digital skills, confidence building, English as a second language conversation sessions

Working hours

· The role is a part time fixed contract position with the possibility of extending pending receipt of funding. Working 21 hours per week, Monday, Thursday and Friday. Hours are flexible but ideally 9.30 to 4.30pm.

Director of Technology

Our newly created role of Director of Technology will join our Senior Leadership Team, and will be responsible for our technology strategy. This includes leading the Full Stack and IT teams to develop the technology infrastructure that supports RNID’s work, and to develop tools that directly support our communities. It’s an exciting time to be joining, as you will lead our AI programme, ensuring the charity takes full advantage of emerging opportunities to increase our efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Lead the technical delivery of our digital product roadmaps (like our online hearing check).

3. Ensure our technology infrastructure is resilient, secure, and meets our needs.

About the Role
Job Title: Funding and Income Generation Manager
Hours: 30 Hours a week
Salary: Organisational Band D (£31,060 - £33,803 FTE)
This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation in a newly created role at a time when
we’re looking to redesign our fund-raising activities through a mixture of activities and
events, sourcing new and nurturing current corporate partnerships and developing
commercial initiatives by making the most of our current assets.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work in partnership with the current Grant Funding
Manager (who is primarily responsible for major grant applications), whilst you will have
responsibility for pursuing a wide range of other income generation opportunities.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong track record in charity income generation who
thrives on working as part of a team yet can also work independently. You will need to be
highly motivated, well organised and have good time management skills, used to working to
targets and comfortable in providing updates and reports to the senior management team.

Based at the Factory in Porth, you’ll need to have your own transport as travel between the
various hubs will be necessary, as well as the occasional visits to potential funders and key
stakeholders.

Main Duties
 To help raise awareness of Valleys Kids and the work we do.
 To identify new sources of income and build on current income streams to support
the work of the charity.
 To provide support to the various business unit managers in their own fundraising
activities.

 To engage with the public, local community groups and businesses to develop
additional sources of income.
 To organise and manage community and corporate fundraising events.
 To attend community and corporate networking events where necessary.
 To actively participate in the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy

• Experience in delivery of marketing campaigns focused on driving supporter response and donations and retention
• Proven experience of working across multiple projects to tight deadlines
• Knowledge of Direct Mail, Email and Web channels
• Confidence in understanding campaign performance data and communicating results and optimisations to a wide variety of stakeholders

Democracy Classroom is a non-partisan, UK-wide initiative and a leading voice for the sector, reaching teachers and youth practitioners in 95% of the UK’s parliamentary constituencies. ABOUT THE ROLE

As Programme Coordinator, you’ll support the work of our Communications and Networks Team while helping keep our office and digital platforms running seamlessly. 

You will:

Website and digital

• Maintain and update the Democracy Classroom website with resources and programme content.

• Work with colleagues to upload reports, blogs and event details.

Operations

• Oversee day-to-day office administration, including supplies, IT support liaison and record-keeping.

• Support finance processes, including invoices, expenses and financial tracking.

• Maintain key operational systems such as our CRM, database and filing systems.

Events and programmes

• Coordinate logistics for meetings and events (online and in-person), including venues, catering and participant communications.

• Support programme delivery by liaising with facilitators, partners and participants.

Team support

• Provide diary management and scheduling support for senior staff where needed.

• Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and track actions.

• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and HR processes.

You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to wider organisational projects and learn new skills as our work evolves.

The job is based on a 14 month fixed term contract (including a 6-month probation period), with opportunities for extension. 

The Politics Project is based in central London, with a mixture of in person and remote working. The hours of work are 37.5 hrs per week. Occasional travel to elsewhere in the UK and working unsocial hours in evenings and at weekends may be required.
