We are seeking a full-time Sports Lecturer to deliver on our BTEC Level 2 and/or 3 Sport course. This role involves supporting students in both classroom, practical and match day settings. You will work with students to ensure they receive the individual support needed to succeed academically, practically, and personally.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering BTEC Level 2 and/or 3 Sport lessons, training sessions, and fixtures.
- Supporting students through assessments, providing feedback, and ensuring they meet their target grades.
- Monitoring student progress, attendance, and behaviour, implementing interventions where necessary.
- Acting as a tutor to students, helping them achieve academic, practical, and personal goals.

You will have:
- Qualified teaching qualification or willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification (Essential) – We will support in funding the qualification for the right candidate.
- UEFA C license coaching qualification (Desirable)
- Degree or equivalent in Sport, Education, Coaching or related field (Desirable)
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting a range of different students.
- An ability to plan and deliver engaging BTEC lessons, training sessions and fixtures.
- Experience in providing feedback and guidance to help students achieve their target grades.
- Knowledge of assessing and internally verifying student work in line with course requirements.
- Track record in monitoring student progress, attendance, and behaviour, with interventions when necessary.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, promoting positive engagement.
- An ability to build positive student relationships to support academic, practical and personal development.
- Strong communication skills for working with students, parents/carers, colleagues, and other key stakeholders.
- An ability to support students’ preparation for their next steps e.g. higher education, apprenticeships or employment.

The Project Officer supports the effective delivery of HACT’s community-focused programmes, with a particular emphasis on operational coordination, partner engagement, and service administration. - Manage voucher requests, ensuring they meet qualifying criteria, and issuing to referral partners across the UK
- Manage, and evolve as needed, quality control processes
- Manage collation of reporting data from Housing Associations and other referral partners

- Provide updates to key HACT staff about distribution progress

Required Skills
Essential

Job Accountabilities
Complete fuel fund and voucher allocations as per agreed timelines.
Ensure projects operate with a sufficient number of sector partners, for example the number of housing associations referring into the fuel fund.
Monitor and review project reach and impact, using this learning to shape any new methods of delivery, e.g. pilots with other sector partners to reach new audiences.
Collaborate with colleagues to communicate the project opportunities and learning at regular intervals, contributing to the wider thought leadership and collaboration objectives of the Communities team.
Maintain positive relationships with project funder(s), by sharing project data in line with agreements.
Ensure high quality delivery of the project, ensuring robust systems are in place to record activity and monitor compliance with the terms and conditions of the project, improving systems as needed, to support partner engagement and voucher redemption.
Coordinate and lead day to day communications with sector partners participating in the project and ensure feedback is collected and reviewed from project partners and beneficiaries.

About the role:
This role is expected to provide remote evidence site administrative support at Caerleon police station as required alongside supporting the local service delivery team. This role is based in Pontypool Police Station, Pontypool, it is offered on a hybrid working basis and there is a requirement for travel throughout the area.
As a Service Delivery Assistant you will:

About the Role
As a VAWG Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. These will be predominantly female victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, however, could be victims of any crime or gender. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the postholder will be ambitious and proactive, supporting in the creation of new relationships and looking for ways to promote the charity in various local settings. You will be responsible for implementing a community fundraising strategy across a diverse range of networks – including individuals, organisations and businesses. Liaising with people at all levels, the role will be varied and have the potential for the post-holder to be creative in testing out new activities, with the opportunity to promote and be involved with exciting national campaigns and events.

Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 FTE
Hours: 21 hours per week over 3 days
Location: Hybrid-working based in the Midlands, with frequent travel to supporter locations (Home Counties/ Midlands) and occasional travel to Head Office (Leamington Spa)
