The role is mainly office-based with the option to work from home a couple of days per week. It also involves some travel to regions outside of London to assist with training and support for our regional teams.

Job purpose

· To assist the team with the scaling up of our Nourish programme

Key tasks include

· Recruit schools to take part in Nourish in the regions

· Provide admin support to the Scaling Manager with setting up e.g. sending out calendar invites, project paperwork, writing minutes

· Assist Scaling Manager with set up of training sessions – agendas, venues, and minutes

· Tailor project resources for different regions delivering Nourish where required

· Design and create project assets such as presentations

· Manage online training platform

· Monitor Regional Officers documentation and check it stays up to date

· Attend occasional project sessions to capture photos, videos and quotes

· Collect data and maintain accurate records relating to the project

· Keep Scaling Manager fully updated on progress

· Keep up to date with safeguarding requirements and reporting procedures

· Maintaining the ethos of the charity and positively promoting our work at all times

The Fundraising Administrator is a key support role within Muslim Charity’s Community Engagement and Fundraising Team. You will help deliver smooth, effective fundraising operations by supporting events, campaigns, volunteer engagement and community activities. The role combines administration, community hub management, volunteer coordination and frontline communication, ensuring our supporters, partners and beneficiaries receive an excellent experience.

You will maintain departmental fundraising plans, support the organisation of events, campaigns and challenges, and act as the first point of contact for fundraising and volunteer enquiries across phone, email and social media. The role requires strong coordination with the Programmes Team for project updates and reporting, along with maintaining databases and online fundraising pages such as JustGiving, LaunchGood and Enthuse. We are looking for someone with administrative experience, ideally gained within a charity, fundraising or community-focused environment. You will have strong organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and confidence in handling enquiries through multiple channels. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively with volunteers, supporters and community members are essential, along with good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, online forms, cloud tools and CRM/database systems. Experience supporting events and an understanding of safeguarding, data protection and health and safety are required, as well as flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative team that delivers high-quality training, conferences, and events for mental health professionals. As a Coordinator for our RNID Near You community service in Leicester City, you will focus and lead on developing and delivering our community service across the area through drop-ins offering:

• practical hearing aid support

We are looking to appoint a motivated person with a keen interest in supporting people with their hearing loss. While you will be home based, there will be regular travel to all venues where we will provide drop-in sessions in community and care settings.

You have experience managing people or volunteers and events, your own workload and are able to work evenings/ weekends if required. This role is responsible for the administration of the grant management process including managing external reviews, communicating with funded researchers about project reports, contracting new research projects and responding to funding enquires, as well as the organisation of the Research Committee meetings and review papers. This is an exciting time to join the team as we expand our funding schemes and work to achieve the charity’s main objective of funding Parkinson’s research to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.

As our Research Grants Officer you will have excellent organisational skills including experience of office and team administration such as scheduling meetings and taking minutes. Working as an effective member of our Research Team you will be able to handle multiple tasks with precision simultaneously and be comfortable building relationships and providing support for researchers.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  

We have now expanded our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa holders (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We are recruiting Ukrainian speaking Employment Advisors to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will provide high quality advice and guidance through 1:1 employability support and group employability workshops with the aim of coaching individuals and supporting them on their journey into employment that suits their previous experience and skill set.

You will prepare participants for employment and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. You will monitor and encourage participants’ engagement and attendance in all aspects of the programme. You will provide an exemplary level of support to STEP participants working towards a variety of performance targets based on the progression outcomes of participants including successful delivery of workshops, completion of training courses, volunteering, and achieving and sustaining paid employment. 

The Employment Advisors will work remotely and can be based anywhere in the UK.

About you

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Proven experience or knowledge within the employment sector
• Understanding of the issues and challenges faced by people who have experienced forced displacement accessing employment.
• Knowledge of adult learning/vocational training
• Experience of delivering 1:1 advice and guidance and coaching
• Experience of reviewing and supervising a case load of participants
• Awareness of Safeguarding people at risk and maintaining professional boundaries
• Experience facilitating group workshops
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Cross-cultural sensitivity
• Good admin and IT skills (CRM database, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Advanced level of English
• Competency in Ukrainian

• To ensure that the voice of Older People is heard by decision makers across East London and help them to shape areas of public policy affecting older people at a local level.

• Ensure that AUKEL is accountable to older People in the design and delivery of our Strategy and Services
• To co-design and co-produce with older people user involvement projects in Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets.

Key Tasks

• To increase OPRG membership and strengthen participation by developing relationships, partnerships and trust with local VCSF groups.
• To support Older People to engage in opportunities to lead, shape services, promote their interests and participate in external forums, events, focus groups, research and surveys etc.
• Represent the interests of members at key stakeholder meetings and groups 
• Support members to access cross cutting AUKEL services e.g. digital inclusion programme, social activities and supporting our integration and internal referral
• Co-ordinate meetings of the OPRGs, including mailings, arranging speakers, convening, minuting, publicity and delivery.
• Measure and report on the delivery of this work and its impact through effective monitoring, reporting and data analysis and narrating client stories.
