From resolving technical challenges and supporting Microsoft 365 services to configuring devices and helping users get the most from technology, this role sits at the heart of a busy technology function. The Technology Support Analyst will bring strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate solutions clearly.

As a Technology Support Analyst, you'll provide first and second line support across the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, ensuring colleagues and volunteers can access the technology, systems and services they need. You'll work across Microsoft 365, communication platforms, user administration and device support, delivering a responsive and reliable service.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide first and second line technical support to employees and volunteers
• Resolve incidents, requests and problems within agreed service levels
• Provide advice and training to office staff, regional staff, and volunteers, on various software packages, office systems, cloud platforms, digital services, operating systems, printers, and telephony
• Configure, maintain and support Microsoft 365 services and Windows environments
• Support communication systems, telephony services and mobile devices
• Set up, induct and offboard users, ensuring appropriate system access
• Configure and maintain laptop devices, including patch management
• Effectively support users with varying levels of technical knowledge
• Escalate issues to specialist teams and third-party providers when required
• Contribute to the service desk knowledge base and technology improvement activities
• Support technology projects, disaster recovery testing and meeting room equipment management

About You

• Experience in a Technology Support Analyst or similar IT support role
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, ADS, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
• Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 applications
• Experience supporting, maintaining and configuring Windows Server environments
• Working knowledge of communication systems and mobile telephony
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience of delivering support, advice and training to end users with varied IT literacy
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
• Strong customer service skills and an empathetic approach to supporting users
• Ability to be flexible in working hours in required

Hybrid working Expectations: 3 day per week Northampton office attendance

Using tools like Power BI for data visualisation, SQL for data manipulation, and even advanced techniques with R and GIS, you’ll create clear, user-friendly reports that empower teams to make a difference.

About you
You are passionate about using data to create meaningful change and thrive in a collaborative environment. You enjoy solving complex problems, turning data into actionable insights, and empowering others to use data effectively.

- Proven experience designing and delivering Business Intelligence and Management Information reports.
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL scripting, and data manipulation.
- The ability to create dashboards and visual reports that are intuitive and actionable.
- Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements.
- A strong understanding of data governance and reporting standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to ensuring data accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical audiences alike.

Nice-to-haves

- Experience with R and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for advanced analytics and geospatial insights.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and iterative delivery.
- Knowledge of working with external suppliers to manage data integration and reporting requirements.

What you’ll focus on:

- Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, SQL, R, and GIS to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborating with teams to gather and prioritise reporting requirements, ensuring solutions meet organisational needs and support evidence-based decisions.
- Defining and enforcing reporting standards and governance, maintaining consistency and accuracy across datasets.
- Using Agile practices to quickly prototype, refine, and deliver impactful reporting solutions.
- Supporting data quality by developing integrity scripts and validating reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Delivering support and guidance to help colleagues confidently interpret and utilise reports in their work.

This is a 24 month fixed term contract covering a secondment.

About You

As Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the work of The Wildlife Trusts by maintaining and enhancing our data pipelines and infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability of the federation wide data service system, a data lakehouse, providing key insights and solutions to support decision-making across the organisation and federation, responding to the needs of Wildlife Trusts and the delivery of our 2030 Strategy.

Working collaboratively with various teams, you will develop data management solutions and products, new use cases, forecast data volumes, and ensure cost-effective service maintenance. You will be integral in enabling us to leverage data for operational and strategic success and in supporting a strong community of practice within the federation of Wildlife Trusts.

As Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimising data pipelines, cloud services, and providing data-driven solutions to support business needs.

To excel in this role, you should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about people focused data engineering and analysis. You will have experience in a data engineering role, ideally with practical experience or the ability to upskill in cloud services like Azure, Databricks and ESRI, as well as excellent proven proficiency, SQL and Python. Ideally you would have a familiarity with developing pipelines which support Analysts who use RStudio, Power BI and/or GIS. You will have experience or the ability to up-skill in administering data services linked to the Data Lakehouse holistically, such as GitHub, Power BI.

You will work closely with and on behalf of teams across the Wildlife Trusts to ensure our data systems are secure, optimised, scalable, and cost-efficient. You should have a solid understanding of data security to ensure compliance with best practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential. About The Role

As a Data Selections Analyst, you’ll play a key role in turning supporter data into well-targeted, well-timed campaigns across fundraising, membership, Poppy Appeal and campaigns. Working with a CRM database of more than four million records, you’ll use Apteco FastStats and PeopleStage to build and deliver the audience selections behind a wide range of multi-channel activity, from long-term campaign programmes to fast moving requests where priorities can change quickly. You’ll work closely with Campaign Managers and colleagues across Data & Insights, IT and external partners, bringing your technical expertise into the planning process and helping shape the best approach rather than simply taking a brief and running with it.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail of data and understands how the right selection can make a real difference to campaign performance. You’ll need strong experience of data manipulation and CRM or database marketing, ideally with hands on knowledge of Apteco FastStats and PeopleStage or a similar platform. Just as important is the ability to spot what others might miss: understanding consent and suppression requirements, identifying potential clashes or over-communication, challenging a brief where needed and making sure every extract is accurate before it reaches a supporter. You’ll be comfortable managing several campaigns and deadlines at once, while maintaining the high level of accuracy and quality expected when working with millions of supporter records.

This is a role for someone who can combine technical confidence with strong communication and stakeholder skills. You’ll be trusted to explain complex data and selection decisions clearly to non-technical colleagues, work through competing priorities, manage relationships with suppliers and contribute ideas that improve how campaigns are targeted and delivered. You’ll also have the opportunity to use campaign insight, segmentation and propensity modelling to continually refine audience selections and support better return on investment.
