We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Head of Finance and Resources to lead our financial and operational functions and play a key role in supporting the charity’s mission and long-term sustainability.
As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), you will oversee finance and facilities, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Job Purpose
Your role is an integral part of the central team with responsibility for procedures, systems that support the effective, efficient, and compliant managing of our premises, IT systems and some HR functions.
You will play a key role in delivering and maintaining our offices and facilities, and the IT services for the whole organisation alongside our retained IT consultants.
By providing high quality operational and administrative support you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation. You will do this by:

The Individual Giving & Community Fundraising Manager will have an exciting opportunity to grow World Child Cancer’s individual giving. They will also lead on creating a donor experience that will ensure people can engage with us in lots of different ways, from a lottery or regular support, legacies, community fundraising and events (including the London Marathon).
The post holder will be responsible for:

About the Role
You will ensure the effective maintenance and development of Salesforce to support The Access Project’s programme delivery, volunteer recruitment, and partnerships management. As the first point of contact for user requests, you will assign and manage queries to ensure timely resolution. A part-time role developing, curating, delivering and finessing training for two distinct audiences – training for those who have low digital confidence, as well as young people, in how to use digital devices effectively and efficiently; and also training for those who may come into contact with, or wish to learn about, digital poverty, including staff of corporates and community providers.
The former audience – learning about digital skills – will need to gain knowledge and understanding about the foundational elements of using laptops, tablets and smartphones. This includes Essential Digital Skills such as setting passwords, connecting to Wi-Fi and using keyboards, as well as soft skills such as staying safe online, critical thinking and recognising fake news or AI generated imagery.
The latter audience – learning about digital poverty – will need to learn about the causes and impacts of digital poverty, what impact digital exclusion has on families and communities, and how to understand if someone is digitally included.
There may be other training requirements as well – such as training external users of our systems, training corporate volunteers, or a train-the-train model of supporting young people to work with those in their communities.
