The Role: Services Manager
As Services Manager at Addiction Family Support, you will coordinate the development and delivery of our core services – ensuring they run smoothly, meet high standards, and continue to evolve in response to the needs of the people we support.

About the roles
Working closely with the Active Black Country team and Local Authority partners, the 2 x Community Engagement Officers will play a key role in identifying community need and will identify appropriate support or training solutions. As Development Manager you will:
· Lead on creating and developing the Individual Giving strategy for the Cathedral, in consultation with the Director of Development.
· Deepen relationships with existing supporters by developing and delivering an impactful stewardship framework for individual donors.
· Work in consultation with the marketing team to create inspiring and relevant communication strategy for individual supporters with a focus on impact, to include regular feedback mechanisms to improve stewardship plans and engagement.

· Develop, manage and deliver Wells Cathedral’s individual giving programmes, including Planned Giving, regular inspiring appeals and individual giving opportunities as part of priority projects.
· Strengthen supporter relationships across the organisation, working with the Cathedral leadership team, Chapter and project leads to support engagement with individual donors and Major Donors.

Key responsibilities
1. Fundraising
- To be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries that come in by telephone, email, post, and in person.
- Support the team by recording and sending fundraising materials to those raising money for us through events and challenge event.
- Ensure communications such as letters, certificates and emails are processed in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Provide support to the events, community, partnerships, and individual giving teams and their programmes of activity.

FareShare Midlands is proud to partner with Muslim Hands to launch a new Community Pantry network in Nottingham. This exciting initiative will redistribute healthy surplus food to support communities in need - tackling food waste and providing affordable food to those who need it most
The Role
The Pantry Coordinator will play a vital hands-on role in both developing and managing the daily operations of these new community food pantries. They will be responsible for managing food supplies, while embedding food safety guidelines and best practices at every stage. They will implement effective systems to ensure smooth service delivery while continuously consulting with the community to refine and improve the pantries’ operations.
As a critical role in the success of the trial, the Pantry Coordinator will monitor performance, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement to enhance service quality. Additionally, they will create and maintain an inclusive, welcoming space where individuals and families can access food with dignity.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Collaborate with supply chain, member services, and depot teams to ensure pantries receive an appropriate mix of high-quality, nutritious and culturally appropriate food that meets community needs
- Oversee and provide hands-on support with receiving, storing, and displaying food across all pantry sites
- Monitor and manage inventory to ensure adequate food for all attendees and minimise any waste
- Implement systems to maintain cleanliness, organisation, and operational efficiency within the pantry
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
- Drive our vans to deliver food from the depot to the pantries as required – we will provide an induction to support you
Community Engagement
- Work closely with pantry community leads and partner venues to foster strong collaboration and build community resilience
- Build positive relationships with pantry members, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed
- Use community consultation and feedback to continuously enhance the pantry experience
- Promote a supportive, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment for all users

Volunteer Coordination

Purpose: The Fundraising and Admin Officer is responsible for delivering key administrative and fundraising activities that support the achievement of Vision Action’s income generation targets. - FUNDRAISING (80% of time)
Trusts & Foundations and Prospect Research
- Lead on the development and submission of applications to smaller trusts and foundations (up to £25,000), including drafting proposals, tracking deadlines, and updating the pipeline.
- Maintain and update the pipeline of prospective donors across income streams (trusts, corporates, government, and institutions).
- Conduct desk research into comparable organisations, donor trends, and partnership opportunities.
Appeals & Campaigns

Just Like Us (JLU) is the UK’s LGBT+ young people’s charity, empowering 18–25-year-olds to share their experiences in schools and improve LGBT+ inclusion through peer-led talks and ambassador programmes.
This joint role represents an exciting partnership between two organisations committed to racial justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion and systemic transformation.
1. Just Like Us (3.5 days/week): To support the delivery of Just Like Us’ Ambassador and School Talks programmes – including recruitment, training and coordination of young LGBT+ volunteers and engaging with schools to foster inclusive environments.
2. Black Queer & Thriving: There is potential for this role to expand in scope (up to 1.5 additional days per week), subject to funding.
