This is an exciting opportunity to join the friendly, dynamic, multi-disciplinary team at the Centre of expertise on child sexual abuse (CSA Centre) as our new Policy and Communications Assistant. This is an important role within the CSA Centre, central to our ambition to raise awareness of the true scale and nature of sexual abuse and to drive evidence-informed improvements in policy and practice.

About the role:The CSA Centre aims to reduce the impact of child sexual abuse through improved prevention and better response, and our work in influencing and shaping policy and communications at local, regional and national level is key to that mission.

As our Policy and Communications Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the CSA Centre's policy and communications activity over the immediate and longer term, helping our evidence, learning and resources to have the widest possible reach and impact at both local and national level.

We are looking for a motivated person keen to learn and to build their skills and experience in a policy and communication role. This is an extremely diverse job, supporting all aspects of the CSA Centre's busy and impactful policy and communications functions, from assisting in the production and design of digital content for our website, social media channels and newsletter, to helping us respond to emerging trends in policy and practice. It would be a great opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and expertise across a wide range of different workstreams - no two days are the same in this role!

As Policy and Communications Assistant at the CSA Centre you will play a key role in tackling child sexual abuse, alongside the work of our colleagues across practice, research, policy, communications and training. This is important work - the CSA Centre conservatively estimates that one in ten children will experience some form of child sexual abuse before age of 16, and our ambitious programme seeks to improve the knowledge, skills and confidence of professionals (social workers, teachers, social workers, nurses etc.) in identifying and responding to child sexual abuse. We have already made great progress, but there is much more to be done – and we need your help to do it!

This role is currently funded until 31 March 2026, in line with the current grant funding arrangements for the CSA Centre. This will be reviewed in late 2025, as future funding for the CSA Centre from 2026/27 onwards is clarified.

Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently until March 2026 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement. This contract is due to expire on 31.03.26.

We are the Centre of expertise on child sexual abuse (CSA Centre). Our aim is to reduce the impact of child sexual abuse through improved prevention and better response. To tackle child sexual abuse we must better understand its causes, scope, scale and impact.

First established in 2017, we are a multi-disciplinary team that is funded by the Home Office, hosted by Barnardo's and we work closely with key partners from academic institutions, local authorities, health, education, police and the voluntary sector. We're proudly independent and our team will challenge any barriers, assumptions, taboos and ways of working that prevent us from increasing our understanding and improving our approach to child sexual abuse.

We bring about change by:

• Collating and analysing existing research, policy, practice and the real experiences of those affected, and filling the gaps we identify with new research, insights and analysis;

Overall purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the national development and delivery of our relationships with the private sector to maximise income and impact to support refugees into meaningful employment.

The main purpose of the Partnerships Manager role is to deliver first-class account management and development of corporate partnerships to drive Breaking Barriers mission.

Working closely with Senior Partnerships Managers, Head of Corporate Partnerships, and members of the Income & Engagement and Services Directorates, you will be responsible for launching, retaining and developing a portfolio of partnerships ensuring we deepen and strengthen relationships whilst identifying opportunities for growth.

You will play your part in delivering and developing strategic relationships to bring value to our refugee clients and our employment and education programmes.

The successful candidate will have experience managing corporate partner relationships, including making fundraising asks and managing external communication with donors and partners at all levels of seniority. You will deploy your influencing skills and ability to build profitable relationships to great effect as you take a leading role identifying and nurturing future strategic partnerships. An understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility would be advantageous.

About the Role

Are you someone who is passionate about seeing positive change in our world? Can you bring knowledge and creativity in designing innovative and effective peacebuilding programmes?

We are looking for someone to support our programmes and institutional fundraising with excellent writing skills, who is passionate about addressing the root causes of and inequalities caused by conflict. You will be someone passionate about the work Cord does and who can bring technical institutional funding expertise alongside peacebuilding knowledge to our small and committed team.

In this role you will lead the development of new programmes and institutional funding bids in line with Cord’s peacebuilding approach and 5 main programme areas. You will manage proposal submissions to Cord's key donors such as the EU, US State Department, GIZ, SDC, UN Peacebuilding Fund etc. You will be working closely with country teams to design and write proposals based on strong project designs developed in partnership with our local partners.

The role will also operate at a strategic level by managing Cord’s relationships with key donors and shaping how Cord communicates about its programmes and the added-value that Cord brings.

AWIP (Animal Welfare Investigations Project) is on a mission to ensure that all animals are protected from organised crime. As we scale our fundraising campaigns and recurring supporter base, we’re looking for a part-time Data & CRM Officer to transform the way we manage supporter data and drive income growth.

We are scaling rapidly — building our membership base, global reach, and digital fundraising channels — and we’re investing in the infrastructure to support that growth.

As part of this journey, we are launching a major CRM transformation project to unify our supporter data, power our fundraising, and deepen relationships with our global supporter community.

You’ll work closely with our Marketing & Communications (MarrComm) team to deliver clean, actionable data for emergency appeals, regular giving campaigns, petitions, and legacy fundraising. Your work will directly help fund frontline rescue operations around the world.

About The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated part-time Data & CRM Officer to lead the implementation and ongoing development of our new Salesforce CRM and to integrate it with our full digital stack using tools like Zapier.

You will play a crucial role in enabling our small Marketing & Communications (MarrComm) team to access accurate, actionable data for our emergency appeals, recurring giving campaigns, petitions, and legacy engagement.

This is a rare opportunity to build systems from the ground up that will directly support real-world rescues, investigations, and sustainable income generation for animals in need.

Key Details:

• Contract type: 6-month fixed-term (with strong potential to become permanent, subject to KPIs)

• Start date: September 2025

• Location: Remote (Must be UK-based)

• Working hours: 16 hours per week (100% flexible schedule; some occasional overtime may be required to meet KPIs with strong potential to become full-time)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Salesforce CRM and ensure smooth migration from legacy systems

• Build and manage data automations using Zapier or similar no-code automation platforms, connecting platforms such as MailerLite, FundraiseUp, Meta Lead Ads, and Stripe

• Ensure all supporter data is accurate, deduplicated, well-tagged, and GDPR-compliant

• Create and maintain segmentation and logic to support targeted campaigns and supporter journeys

• Collaborate with the MarrComm team to deliver campaign-ready data for fundraising and advocacy

• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time performance insights

• Document workflows and integrations to ensure long-term sustainability of systems

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve donor retention, upgrade journeys, and LTV through smarter data use

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience working with CRM systems in the non-profit or charity sector

• Hands-on experience with Zapier and third-party platform integrations

• Direct experience with Salesforce (or another comparable CRM such as Dynamics or Raiser’s Edge)

• Understanding of data hygiene, supporter segmentation, consent management, and GDPR compliance

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously

• Confidence in working with both technical and non-technical colleagues

• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

Desirable

• Experience with MailerLite, FundraiseUp, or similar email marketing and donation platforms

• Familiarity with other automation platforms (e.g. Power Automate, Make/Integromat)
