Job Title: Facilities Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on facilities, maintenance and supplier management across multiple sites

About the role

Primarily, Consultants work in project teams, led by a Senior Consultant or Manager, to deliver consultancy project work to external clients (e.g. charities, social enterprises, foundations), using existing Spring Impact methodologies. This work includes:

• Contributing, through analysis and critical thinking, to shaping the strategic direction of projects and recommendations to partners

• Preparing first draft documents, slide decks, write ups, reports etc

• Conducting interviews and focus groups

• Supporting workshop design and co-facilitating

• Delivering training workshops

• Develop financial models (you will be trained to do this!)

• Conduct desk-based research, interviews and focus groups with partners, stakeholders and their beneficiaries

• Coordinate project administration and logistics

Beyond working with our partners, there is the opportunity to contribute to internal activities such as:

• Contributing to best practice and methodology development and codification, 

• Improving our Monitoring & Evaluation,

• Developing our external communications 

• Developing proposals for new and existing clients

Your first six months

You will learn about our approach to working with others, and creating impact at scale, through a mix of team-led training, project-shadowing and self-directed study.

Within the first two weeks, you’ll be introduced to clients and begin to support internal teams to deliver consulting, coaching and training. You will work on a mix of UK- and internationally-focused projects, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients to navigate challenges on their journeys to scale.

Key Details

• Salary: £34,500 - £36,250

1.Lead and Develop Shop Teams

You’ll provide inspirational leadership to a team of Shop Managers and volunteers, supporting them to reach their full potential. This includes overseeing recruitment, training, regular one-to-one meetings, and performance management to ensure each shop team is motivated and high-performing.

2. Drive Sales and Maximise Profit

You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding income targets across multiple retail sites. 4. Ensure Operational Excellence and Compliance

From shop floor standards to back-office processes, you’ll ensure that all shops adhere to charity policies, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices. You’ll also support Gift Aid performance, stock management, merchandising and customer service.

Job Title: Support Mentor

Location: Face to face service based in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota basis between 09:00 - 17:00 and 13:00 - 21:00. You may be required to work bank holidays and evenings as required.

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will support in providing our residents with the support needed to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals in a person centred approach. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service. The role includes:

• Supporting residents with daily tasks
• Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to their needs
• Carry out regular welfare checks, safeguarding checks, and general living checks
• Encourage residents to take part in activities and events
• Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
• Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary
• Carry out general housing management support

About you

We're looking for someone who has a true passion to support those who have multiple and complex needs, with a drive to help support those who suffer with homelessness, mental health, and substance use. You will be able to build rapport and trusting relations in a professional setting, and able to build positive outcomes. You will have an adaptable and flexible approach to helping others, with an understanding that each individual has different levels and types of support needs.

You'll deliver at least two legal services, both in-person and virtually, to clients engaged with alcohol and drug treatment programmes, homeless day centres, and sexual health clinics. Our work centres on providing expert advice, assistance, and representation, particularly in the areas of debt, housing (including homelessness), and welfare benefits.

Following induction and training, you'll also provide legal support via Release’s national helpline—offering guidance related to criminal law and the criminal justice system in the context of drug offences. Additionally, you’ll contribute to our innovative Harm Reduction Hub, a drop-in service supporting people with legal issues linked to substance dependency.

Beyond frontline legal work, you'll have the chance to get involved in the organisation’s vital policy and advocacy initiatives.
