About the role

As our Corporate Partnerships Officer, you will provide critical support across all functions of the Corporate Partnerships Team and work closely with Corporate Partnership Team Managers to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Lead on administrative support for the Corporate Partnerships Team
• Support the delivery of high-quality partnerships with corporate partners.
• Support the development of new partnerships with corporate partners.
• Support our private sector engagement work to strategically engage business.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Experience in a charity fundraising, partnerships and/or customer service role.
• Endless drive, enthusiasm and ability to work under own initiative/independently to produce high quality results and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation and face-to-face. 
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to provide excellent customer service and support to companies or individuals at all levels.
• Strong administrative and IT skills – including spreadsheets – and experience of using customer databases (training given).

• Experience and knowledge of corporate responsibility/sustainability

SLRA is a well-established local migrant support organisation working with and for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis as a result of immigration issues. We provide specialist immigration advice (SLRA is regulated to provide advice at IAA Level 3) as well as a broad range of practical, social and therapeutic support services. The Financial Accountant will be a key member in our Finance and Performance team, part of Corporate Services, which supports the capabilities and programmes to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

It is an excellent opportunity to join our small and dedicated finance team. We are looking for a strong technical professional, whose financial expertise and specialist knowledge are a given. The main purpose of the role is to provide technical financial accounting support, with a focus on VAT and HMRC submissions, preparation of statutory accounts and its related trading subsidiary to comply with regulatory and external stakeholder reporting requirements. The role will support the month end tasks to produce the monthly management accounts including the balance sheet reconciliation, working closely with the finance team.

You will: 

· Monitor, maintain, and improve internal financial controls

· Submit quarterly VAT returns

· Produce the Annual Statutory Accounts and lead the annual external audit

· Prepare the weekly cashflow and cashflow forecasting

· Prepare the balance sheet reconciliations working closely with the team to follow up any differences

You: 

· You will have strong knowledge of the Charity SORP, FRS102 and charity VAT

· You will have experience of general ledger and transactional accounting activities including exposure to the balance sheet, accruals, prepayments, journals.

· You will be someone who has strong attention to detail to avoid data errors.

· You will be able to work to deadlines and manage priorities whilst working independently

SHAK (South Hampstead and Kilburn Community Partnership) is a resident led charity based on the Alexandra and Ainsworth estate in the Kilburn Ward of Camden, London, dedicated to supporting residents and young people living in an area of high deprivation.

If successful you will be based at “The ARC Youth Club”, an estate based youth led centre with integrated music studio, kitchen, games and "chill-out" space. The ARC engages approximately 250 young people per year and plays a vital role in their welfare and development outside of school. You will deliver a range of activities e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, sports, trips, music, events etc. You will also offer support and guidance for local young people and enable them to develop life long skills while designing and running their own projects, forums etc. In school holidays you will be required to work an expected 28 hrs a week as we offer a full program of activities and free meals for young people

The role involves both direct delivery and coordination - particularly through managing relationships with key external service providers in IT, HR, and finance. Rape Crisis South London (RCSL) is seeking a skilled, passionate, and professional Advocacy Manager to join our team and lead our ISVA and Casework department. 
 

As Advocacy Manager (maternity cover), you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality support services for survivors of sexual violence, particularly those engaging with or considering engagement with the criminal justice system. You will manage a team of ISVAs (Independent Sexual Violence Advocates), Caseworkers, and our Advocacy Operations Administrator, ensuring excellence in recruitment, induction, and training.
 

Reporting to the Director of Programmes, you will play a key leadership role within our organisation, working collaboratively with colleagues across our frontline services and our training and prevention teams.

• A proven track record in people management and supporting survivors of sexual violence
• Experience working within the violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector

The Detention Outreach Caseworker is a full-time post on a 12-month renewable contract, joining a small team at the JRS UK offices in Wapping, working closely with the Detention Outreach Manager.

The JRS UK Detention Outreach project supports individuals who are detained in the Heathrow Immigration Removal Centres (Harmondsworth and Colnbrook). This busy and varied role focuses on combining accompaniment, practical support, and assistance to those in immigration detention, especially those who are most vulnerable and struggle to self-advocate. The Detention Outreach Caseworker will make referrals to solicitors and partner organisations where appropriate and liaise with Immigration Services, detention centre staff and others as needed.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker will occasionally support individuals who are released from, but continue to be affected by, immigration detention. Through relationships built across the NGO sector, they will refer individuals to local organisations who can most appropriately assist with reintegration into the community. They will provide in-depth and pro-active support to high-need individuals supported in detention who continue to require long-term accompaniment on release.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker will be responsible for managing their own caseload and work closely with the Detention Outreach Manager to identify themes and trends arising from immigration detention to contribute to the organisations wider strategic work. The post-holder should have a good understanding of and empathy with the issues and challenges faced by asylum-seekers and refugees, with particular focus on immigration detention. They will need highly developed listening skills, personal resilience and emotional maturity to respond to the emotional and practical needs of asylum seekers, accompanying them and supporting them to positively progress with their lives. They need to have and maintain an up-to-date knowledge about the immigration and asylum context as it relates to our work in immigration detention.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker will be enthusiastic about working in a small faith-based organisation and have a willingness to integrate JRS UK’s ethos of accompaniment in their approach whilst also demonstrating sensitivity in responding to the needs of destitute and detained individuals. They will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills. About the role

We're looking for an efficient, friendly Volunteer Co-ordinator to join our award-winning charity.  The team is based at our busy community centre from where it offers a range of services from community meals, art classes to gardening services and digital support.  We support older and disabled people living in Fulham, London.  Much of our work is delivered by volunteers, so this post is critical to our service delivery. You will recruit, induct, and coordinate volunteers; including leading our Good Neighbours Scheme and Befriending Scheme and supporting the recruitment for all other projects. 

About you: You will have experience of volunteering and in coordinating volunteers or staff, and have strong organisational and communication skills. You will be pro-active and diligent and able to solve problems as they arise. You will be a 'first point of contact' for people getting in touch with FGN, and so you will have a welcoming, and compassionate demeanour and be able to represent FGN at events (partnership meetings, volunteer recruitment drives, fairs, etc).  You will enjoy working with older people and those with disabilities.

The role is based at our community centre in Fulham, Rosaline Hall (70 Rosaline Rd, SW6 7QT) with WFH potentially available for 1/5 of working hours.Hours: 9am - 5pm - Monday to Friday. 35 hours per week.
