As Business Operations Manager, you will manage the delivery of our annual organisational planning and reporting, which is crucial as we continue to set ourselves ambitious targets. As Business Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in enhancing, embedding and embodying organisational and operational effectiveness.

• Manage the delivery of our annual organisational business planning process, supporting the Head of Operations and partnering with our leadership team, Heads of department and managers to ensure the planning cycle runs smoothly.

• Embed a structured approach to reporting and monitoring.

• Optimise internal knowledge management systems and communication channels to drive clear, effective and consistent internal communication.

• Facilitate access to robust and clean operational data in order to enable data-driven decisions.

• Advise and guide a programme of measuring ourselves against the B Corp Standards. 

• Line manage a small team, providing coaching support to enable growth and development.

In the Assistant Head for Fundraising Operations role you will oversee our core fundraising support functions; working closely with colleagues across the directorate to ensure the smooth running of systems and processes that underpin fundraising activities, helping to maximise income and supporter satisfaction.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we look to build our fundraising activity for long term growth. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Communications, your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the fundraising operations team in managing fundraising data, income processing, compliance, and supporter care.
• Act as the lead for fundraising compliance, providing sign off and advice for fundraising activity
• Identify and implement new technical solutions to support data processing and wider fundraising initiatives.
• Provide line management and leadership across your department, and support the development of a high performing team.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. The BACCH Education and Training Administrator is a newly created role supporting the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH), a specialty group of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. This role will take the lead on setting up and delivering educational courses and events for clinicians working in Community Child Health, including webinars, regional events, and the BACCH Annual Scientific Meeting.

Reporting to the BACCH Executive Officer, you will coordinate the development of a structured education and training offer, manage logistics for online and in-person courses, and support initiatives such as trainee-led learning and paid short courses. You will also support BACCH’s six affiliated specialist groups with administrative and event coordination as needed.

The role requires a highly organised and self-motivated individual with experience in event planning, digital platforms, and administrative systems. You’ll also maintain contact databases, filing systems, and internal procedures, while providing occasional cover for the wider team.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting educational events or working in professional membership organisations, along with strong communication, planning and IT skills. A background in healthcare, training, or children’s services and knowledge of website or budget management is desirable

Reporting in to the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, the Senior Finance Business Partner (Income) will champion strategic financial insight and support within the Income and Public Engagement Department, driving accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting for income streams, working closely with fundraising and institutional teams, including the development of funding bids.

• Partner with the Income and Public Engagement team to develop and champion accurate income forecasts, budget plans, and financial models.

About the role:

A new and exciting role has arisen within our HR team as HR Manager to lead and execute day-to-day HR operations. You will support a team of HR Coordinators to ensure that every stage of the employee lifecycle is handled efficiently and accurately, in accordance with legislation, organisational policies, and best practice.

As part of the role, you will maintain consistency, quality, timeliness, and precision across all HR (including Recruitment) administration and employee relations work. In addition to leading HR operations, you will also serve as a business partner: advising and supporting managers in allocated parts of the organisation, diagnosing operational people issues, and helping to put in place practical, effective solutions, whilst supporting them in delivery of their people strategies.

What you will be doing:

• Lead, manage, coach, and allocate tasks to HR Coordinators; oversee daily workload and priorities, ensuring quality standards are maintained 

• Lead annual reviews of HR operational processes, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance service standards and efficiency. 

• Own the HR operational risk register, proactively identifying risks and supporting mitigation strategies.

Purpose of the role:

Are you curious about the society we live in and passionate about making a difference? We’re looking for a creative, passionate and organised manager to join the newly established Activate Team.

The Activate Manager will manage the delivery of the new Activate Fund, which has been designed to enable Churchill Fellows to turn their ideas into action for the benefit of individuals and communities in the UK.

The role will also collaborate closely with the Research and Engagement team to design and deliver new forms of non-financial support for Fellows, enabling them to maximise the impact of their learning, and their potential to create change.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Application support

• Acting as the first point of contact for the Activate Fund, managing the inbox, responding to enquiries, providing empathetic and tailored support to applicants and grant holders.
•  Designing and delivering support for applicants, for example webinars, 1:1 surgeries, contributing to guidance materials and media content.
• Contributing to the development of Fund documentation, including updating email templates used at each stage of the selection process, in close collaboration with the Salesforce team.
• Participating in longlisting applications alongside the Head of Activate to create a strong shortlist for external panels.
• Co-ordinating the shortlisting and interview process: creating the interview timetable, inviting, briefing and training panel members, liaising with interview candidates, organizing relevant documentation, and supporting the smooth running of interviews.
• Working with the Communications team, supporting the development of key messaging in the run-up to the launch of the Activate Fund in Spring 2026, including drafting web copy and e-news, sourcing case studies and quotes.

2. Grants Management

• Liaising with Activate grant holders to ensure award documentation is signed and returned and responding to any queries.
• Being the main point of contact for Activate grantholders, offering or signposting appropriate advice and support to aid successful project delivery.
• Managing the reporting and payment process in close collaboration with the Salesforce and Finance teams, reviewing progress reports, approving payments and requests for changes to grant duration or budget allocation within agreed Fund parameters.

3. Capacity Building

• Exploring, designing and delivering or brokering a range of additional support for grant holders, such as coaching, mentoring, convening, network-building, skills development and action learning.
• Collaborating with colleagues in the Research and Engagement team to make sure this capacity-building programme complements the wider Fellowship offer.

4. Evaluation and learning 

• Supporting the ongoing improvement of the Activate Fund through analysis of application and award trends and by collecting and reviewing feedback, with a particular focus on EDI.
• Contributing to external evaluations and internal reviews of the impact of the Fund, as required, for example through the provision of monitoring data, sourcing of Fellows for interview.

5. Fellowship Team 

• As part of the Fellowship Team, contributing to the overall preparation and running of Connect and Inspire, the annual event for new Fellows, and the biennial Award Ceremony.
• Being a proactive and collaborative member of the team, providing support to colleagues where required during busy periods of the year and contributing to a culture of ongoing and open learning.

Person Specification

• Grant making experience with evidence of supporting the delivery of a selection process and/or managing a portfolio of grants.
• Experience of designing and delivering learning programmes, facilitating communities of practice and/or providing coaching/ mentoring to support individuals to achieve their potential.

The Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Prevention Team, sits within the wider Fundraising and Communications directorate and delivers the UK SAYS NO MORE campaign and Everyone's Business. 

Everyone's Business works with employers to deliver a domestic abuse and sexual violence response to their employees along with offering a range of tools and resources such as the Everyones Business Respond to Abuse Advice Line, a training package and an employee IDVA and ISVA service. The team have worked with approximately 250 employers ranging from large multi-national companies to statutory organisations and local authorities. 

Please note this is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK with the requirement to be at our Head Office in London 1 day a week (Thursday).

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The role involves providing both emotional and practical support to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and other forms of gender-based violence, including those at high risk. This includes completing DASH risk assessments and tailoring support to each survivor's individual needs. The postholder responds to referrals from employees with lived experience of abuse through the Everyone's Business IDSVA service and acts as the lead IDVA/ISVA for some contracted business partnerships. They work closely with businesses adopting IDVA/ISVA services and are responsible for maintaining and updating business development plans as required.

The Opportunity

As our Senior Trainer, you will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of our training offer, so more professionals have the confidence and skills to respond well to domestic abuse.

You will design and deliver engaging training online and in person, coordinate rotas and resources, uphold quality, and use feedback to keep content relevant and impactful. You will also line manage two Training Coordinators, nurture key client relationships, and support proposals and bookings that grow our reach and repeat business.

About You

You are an established trainer with experience in the Violence Against Women and Girls sector. You can design and deliver dynamic, inclusive sessions for mixed audiences, both online and in person, with strong feedback and repeat bookings to show for it.

You bring solid understanding of housing and health including safeguarding and local pathways, and you are confident running day to day operations, scheduling and capacity planning.

You have experience line managing people and setting clear standards through observation, coaching and quality assurance. You are comfortable scoping client needs, shaping simple SLAs and turning data and feedback into clear KPIs and reports.
