About the role
This is a new role which will help to deliver a pilot strategy to grow long-term sustainable income by enhancing Breast Cancer Now’s on-the-ground presence locally.
Joining the relationship fundraising team and working closely with the high value partnerships team, this role is responsible for cultivating new long-term relationships and, in turn, driving fundraising income.
Uniquely, the post holder will help to implement a large-scale trial to further grow Tickled Pink, an award-winning partnership between Asda, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! which has raised over £100m. The goal is to grow both engagement and future income by directly supporting colleagues across Asda stores in their local area.
In addition, this role will establish and grow a portfolio of supporters in the northwest by cultivating relationships with new and warm supporters including individuals, clubs, societies and local companies. It will also line manage two community fundraisers based in Scotland.
What’s special about this role is that you’ll be working alongside a supportive, innovative and fun team which has delivered continued growth in fundraising over the last five years.
The is the first time the charity has had a community fundraiser locally based in the northwest. It is one of five new roles being introduced as part of the pilot, and the goal is that they all become permanent.
About you
You’re a pro at cultivating long term relationships with a variety of new supporters to generate income, and have great community fundraising experience working with individuals, local companies and clubs and societies.
You’re proactive and can work in a flexible and agile way; perhaps you’ve helped to deliver successful pilots in the past. You’re solution focused and experienced in developing and delivering ideas to grow income and engagement in the short and long term.
With great communication skills, you’re a team player and love working independently as well as part of a large team with various stakeholders.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in Manchester, Liverpool or the surrounding area. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as to our offices in London, Sheffield and Glasgow.

Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all corporate activity and income using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Milton House is a 15-bed mixed-gender accommodation service in Islington, supporting adults facing multiple and complex challenges. With a small and dedicated staff team, we provide tailored casework to residents whose needs may include mental or physical health issues, substance use, histories of offending, or support with living skills and wider aspirations. Founded in 1991, the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) is a non-profit organisation that works with independent media and civil society to promote positive change in areas of crisis and conflict. THE ROLE
The Development Manager will proactively develop programme ideas into winnable proposals and progress income from institutional donors as well as trusts and foundations. Reporting to the Global Development Director, the successful candidate will be a self-starter with the relevant experience, skills and relationships to develop a portfolio of prospects and grantmakers. Mind in Enfield and Barnet is seeking Community care coordinators for some of our most vulnerable users of emergency services. Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering offers an activity centre to residents of Redbridge aged 55 or above, to use for exercise and craft among other classes, and to enjoy light refreshments and a daily, 2 course, freshly prepared lunch.
A part time cook is required, to provide lunches (main course and dessert) and work alongside a small team to include; two other part time cooks and approximately 12 volunteers. The ability to work independently and with the help of a kitchen assistant volunteer is essential in order to prepare between 10 and 30 meals per day. We are looking for a qualified, experienced cook, with recent experience. You will need to have proof of relevant Food Hygiene training and an understanding of different dietary requirements, as well as allergy legislation and health and safety knowledge relevant to Kitchen work.
You would be expected to assist the manager in planning meals to keep within budgets and to assist with the preparation for special event occasion menus or other ad hoc catering that may be required.

The role is a full time permanent role. The role is based at Bloomsbury campus with flexibility to work from home on a 40/60 basis (40% working from the office). We will consider applications to work on a flexible and job share basis wherever possible.
We are looking for a Marketing Manager (Commercial) to lead a team to deliver effective and impactful multichannel marketing campaigns to drive engagement with our services, increase revenue, and support the development and expansion of the Union’s commercial portfolio. We operate a diverse range of values-led commercial services, including bars, cafes, shops and gyms.
