We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Education, Training & Events Manager to develop and deliver professional education opportunities that raise awareness of bladder health and improve care.
You will take ownership of our calendar of study days, annual conference, and our webinar programme, while building strong partnerships with external organisations. The role also includes shaping and managing digital learning resources, enabling professionals to access high-quality training and educational content beyond live events. Key Responsibilities
Event Management

Plan and deliver 2-3 in-person Study Days and 1 main conference per year tailored to healthcare professionals

Manage all logistics: venues, registrations, speakers, sponsorships, delegate materials

The Birmingham Street Navigator Service works with Birmingham citizens (single adults and/or couples 25 years old or above) with accommodation that are outdoors engaging in ‘street activity’ e.g. rough sleeping, begging, street drinking/drug using and other ‘social activities.
Street Navigators will offer intensive, wraparound support to help citizens back into their accommodation, reducing their level of street-based activity and associated anti-social behaviour, with the overall aim of reintegrating citizens into their local communities and reducing their reliance on the streets.
Street Navigators will recognise that citizens may present with a range of complexities and could be living with traumas that make engagement with ‘traditional’ and ‘mainstream’ services difficult. This requires Street Navigators to provide a trauma-informed, person-centred and relational approach to engagement and the ongoing support offer to the citizen as a means of developing trust and confidence with the service, and to ensure short and longer term needs are met.
Street Navigators will work in a multi-agency network including alongside outreach services, Community Safety teams, local BID teams, commissioned/none-commissioned accommodation providers, West Midlands Police and British Transport Police. Street Navigators will also support citizens to access relevant support agencies when ready. This could include health care, substance misuse services, local community services and DWP.
It is important that the service is available to our citizens when it is needed. Overall purpose

The postholder will lead employer outreach and partnership building in priority sectors and embed consistent systems and processes that make employer engagement coordinated and impactful across the organisation. The EEM will support pathways, work placements, recruitment pipelines and workshops by ensuring employer input is actively embedded where relevant.
This is a strategic, hands-on role, the successful candidate will map and cultivate employer relationships, secure employer input into sector pathways, workshops and recruitment initiatives, translate labour market intelligence into programme improvements, and design the operational processes that enable Programmes and Corporate Partnerships to work together effectively. The role is set up to be ambitious but achievable within 12 months. The responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant will include:
- Support the production of the GPA Annual Report and Accounts including provision of consolidation returns for Cabinet Office departmental accounts and Whole of Government Accounts
- Maintain and analyse accurate accounting records including preparation and monitoring of Statement of Financial Position reconciliations and accrual and other journals
- Monitor the effectiveness of key controls including those operated by outsourced service providers
- Prepare tax returns to deadlines including monthly VAT return and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns
- Support the delivery of internal and external audits including provision of fully supporting and signposted evidence, monitoring of requests and responding to auditors in a timely way
- Support continuous process efficiencies and improvements across the function
- Build relationships with key staff across Finance and the business in order to maintain effectiveness and relevance during change
Key Skills & Experience
- Good experience of financial accounting
- Good knowledge and experience of VAT
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse and interpret significant amounts of financial data

We work alongside vulnerable people in temporary accommodation to improve their lives and communities, unlock their potential, and open new possibilities. The Role:
The CEO will be responsible for leading the strategic growth, fundraising, and external engagement of More Than a Roof. This role will focus on developing and communicating the charity’s mission, building strong partnerships, and securing funding to expand our impact across the UK.
The CEO will act as the external face of More Than a Roof, engaging supporters, funders, and strategic stakeholders to raise awareness and increase income. While the charity exists to support individuals & families experiencing homelessness, delivery of frontline services and direct engagement with residents is undertaken by our partner organisations, such as The Housing Network. The CEO will ensure that the voice and experience of those we support shapes our fundraising narrative, advocacy, and programme design, without duplicating the operational role of our delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside colleagues at The Housing Network to support individuals and families (including individuals over 18’s, families, and prison leavers) as they move into temporary accommodation.
- Facilitate connections for beneficiaries within the local community in Leicester, helping them build support networks.
- Signpost beneficiaries to relevant external support agencies and services to address their diverse needs (e.g., health & wellbeing, training & life skills, employment, financial matters).
- Collaborate closely with on-the-ground partners, such as Community Shop in Leicester, to ensure integrated support.
- Collect and maintain accurate beneficiary data and records, ensuring compliance and contributing to outcome reporting.
- Actively support the charity's social media presence and engagement.
- Play a key role in fundraising activities, demonstrating a proactive approach and a proven track record of successful fundraising initiatives.
- Regularly report to and support the Board of Trustees, providing updates on beneficiary progress and charitable activities.
About You:
We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness. You will be a self-starter with a proactive approach, comfortable working independently as the charity's first paid employee.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- A proven track record of working in a local charity, demonstrating an understanding of the charity sector, particularly in the field of homelessness.
- Confidence and a highly self-motivated approach, capable of managing your own workload effectively.
- Knowledge and understanding of the homelessness sector, its complexities, and challenges.
- Solid understanding and practical experience of safeguarding principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and their application in support settings.
- Experience in crisis intervention and the ability to respond effectively in challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals and families, supporters of the charity and external stakeholders and funders.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and data collection.

For Europe's largest infrastructure project, we're recruiting two Interim HR Business Partners for at least 6 months. Both roles will support Heads of HR across various directorates to support with organisational HR strategy and consultation on change programmes and will analyse HR data and MI to advise and enable colleagues and line managers on employee management, HR policy, HR process and complex employee cases.
Main Duties:
- Support Heads of HR to deliver Directorate people related priorities and develop and implement initiatives at manager level to drive improvements
- Support HR priorities including focusing on sickness absence management, attrition, and performance management
- Support and implement objective setting, performance management, end of year reviews, talent reviews, and support with engagement survey action plans
- Support OD processes at the design stage, implementing outputs with impacted colleagues, ensuring a legally compliant consultation process is followed.
- Complete monthly reporting activity, assessing data from HRMI, Resourcing and ER.
- Identify trends and share insights to support people-related decision-making
- Advise line managers on reward processes, including Temporary Responsibility Allowances, Managed Moves and process any resulting paperwork required.

Person Specification:
- CIPD level 5 or above, with strong experience of working within a complex, changing matrix managed organisation
