Contract Managers are responsible for the effective management of all contracts within their designated patch, including line managing the relevant front line staff. Leadership and competence development in direct reports is a key responsibility of the role.
The working pattern for this role is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. This is a 6 month contract until 03/2026.
What you'll do:
- Drive business planning activities within your contract, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing turn around action plans as may be necessary
- Work with the Young People directorate, contributing to and delivering the vision and strategy of our pathway
- Maintaining excellent relationships with the local council, commissioning team, landlords, and housing team

Job purpose
To support Debt Advisers in their roles and ensure that the advice provided to overindebted Clients is accurate, effective and tailored to individuals’ circumstances. To support, and regularly audit delivery partner organisations, ensuring that they are prepared for external reviews of their service in line with their Grant Agreement.
Scope of role
The Debt Technical Supervisor is responsible for supporting Debt Advisers to ensure the delivery of accurate, effective, and tailored advice to over-indebted clients. This role involves conducting debt-advice interview observations, reviewing case files, and identifying training needs for advisers. The Debt Technical Supervisor provides real-time support and constructive feedback, helping advisers navigate complex cases and ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and information. Additionally, the role includes auditing delivery partner organisations to prepare them for external reviews and supporting them in meeting compliance and quality standards. The supervisor will collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to promote best practices, address risks, and contribute to the continuous professional development of advisers.

1. Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of two years’ full time (2,220 hours) or equivalent part-time experience of delivering debt advice
- Hold a valid Money and. Pension Service accredited qualification in debt advice
- Have recent knowledge and experience of specialist debt casework
- Ability to supervise, develop and motivate a team of Debt Advisers to achieve performance, quality and Continuous Professional Development
- Understanding of the issues involved in interviewing clients (all channels)
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex information and produce and present clear reports verbally and in writing in cross cultural settings.
- Ability to work with funders and (partner) organisations to earn and maintain the trust of the people with whom Toynbee Hall deals.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Quality Assurance Manager will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the quality and safety of care delivered across our residential School and College services.
You will lead on quality improvement, embed compliance and regulatory standards (CQC/Ofsted), and act as a key driver in safeguarding best practices. Using structured audits, inspections, and feedback cycles, you will work closely with teams to ensure excellence in care, safety, and person-centred planning.
This role will also act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the services and take a leadership role in promoting learning from incidents and continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead internal audits across all service areas, reporting findings and driving actions
- Monitor, evaluate and improve compliance with regulatory frameworks
- Champion safeguarding and act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Audit the quality of documentation, DATIX, care planning, MCA/LPS and assessments
- Collaborate with managers to ensure inspection readiness and service development
- Support with rota effectiveness, staffing levels, and risk management oversight
- Lead on quality initiatives across both adult and children’s services
- Contribute to training, policy development and organisational improvement
About You
This role is ideal for a dedicated and experienced professional in adult and/or children’s social care, with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
Essential:
- Relevant care experience and knowledge of both adult and/or children’s services
- Strong auditing and compliance knowledge (CQC/Ofsted)
- Leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Strong IT and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, and person-centred care
Desirable:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
- Experience delivering staff training and managing change

Connexional Worship Renewal Team Leader

Hybrid Working: Connexional Team staff based at Methodist Church House have a hybrid work pattern which is currently 2-3 days in the office.
We are offering a hugely exciting role to support Methodist worship renewal across The Connexion and to continue to enhance our wonderful communities of local preachers, worship leaders and musicians through the training and development programmes offered by The Methodist Church in Great Britain.

In recognition of the centrality of the worshipping life of the Church to Our Calling as both Christians and Methodists, we are absolutely committed to effectively supporting (in theology, craft and with practical questions) all of those who lead worship. We also recognise the missional imperative for high-quality worship. Thus the holder of this post will lead a small team, whose aims are to:
- Empower all of those leading worship through support and development.
- Operationalise and manage the Worship Renewal stream of the Methodist Church in Britain’s God For All ambition and strategy.
This will include working strategically; embedding deep learning and practice; envisaging and developing exceptional training and resourcing for all those involved in worship leading; managing staff, workplans and budgets; and being responsible for the governance aspects which sit within this role.
About you
Thus, we are looking for someone who is a gifted ‘crafter of worship’ and preacher, with deep sensitivity for Methodist worship in its varied traditions, passion for excellence in Methodist worship and creative strategic thinker. You will care deeply about the communities of people who lead Methodist worship, working alongside them to enable all to lead worship which contributes to flourishing Methodist churches.
It is essential, therefore, that you are a presbyter, deacon or local preacher in The Methodist Church, have a deep understanding of Methodist – and wider – theology with an understanding of how to translate these for contemporary society. You will have an excellent understanding of current training structures for worship within The Methodist Church, alongside experience of leading and managing change in a complex organisation.
The team
The Ministries and Learning Team in which this role sits, is friendly, supportive, vibrant and passionate. Within this team, you will be line-managed by The Director of Ministry Development. The Team exists to equip the Methodist Church by training, developing and supporting those called by God to serve in lay and ordained ministry embedding the strategies which support the Church’s aspiration to be inclusive, justice seeking, evangelistic and growing.
The postholder will manage a small team and work widely with other teams, such as Evangelism and Growth, and across the wider Connexion.
This post carries an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a Christian (in accordance with the Equality Act 2010).
