We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial leadership and business partnering across a portfolio of international grants and organisational programmes. Acting as a trusted advisor to portfolio teams, project directors and senior stakeholders, you will help ensure that funding decisions, financial planning and grant delivery are underpinned by robust financial management and insight.

This is a key role within our Finance team, combining strategic business partnering with hands-on oversight of grant and portfolio finances. You will lead forecasting, budgeting, reporting and financial analysis, enabling teams to navigate complex funding environments and make informed decisions.

You will be adept at translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights, building strong relationships across teams and influencing senior stakeholders. You'll bring a collaborative, solutions-focused approach and be comfortable working across multiple projects, teams and geographies.

This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with operational delivery, improve systems and processes, and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven organisation committed to driving global action on clean air.

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced Finance Business Partner with grant financial management experience and a solutions-focused approach.
• CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Knowledge of Charity SORP or the ability to quickly build expertise in regulated accounting frameworks.
• Experience working in a global organisation and partnering effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
• Experience overseeing grant financial management, including due diligence, budgeting, reporting and financial reviews.
• Strong judgement, attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the co-development of evidence-based policy positions with iHV’s clinical team, members and partners.

About you:

We are looking for the following essential skills and experience:

• Strong understanding of UK policy-making processes and child and family health/ early years policy – ideally informed by experience working within or closely with government or public sector organisations.
• Exceptional writing skills, with a proven ability to produce authoritative, high impact briefings, reports and policy documents that are clear, persuasive and tailored to diverse audiences.
• Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and evidence from multiple sources and translate this into clear, practical and actionable policy recommendations.
• Ability to collate, synthesise and critically assess diverse sources of insight, including frontline practitioner perspectives, quantitative and qualitative data, to inform robust policy development.

About the Independent Service Manager role

The Role:

We have an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity for an experienced Volunteer Coordinator to join FARA Foundation at this pivotal time. This critical new role for the organisation will play a key role in the development and growth of volunteering across all areas of the organisation with special emphasis on the retail arm.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience working as a Volunteer Coordinator in a Charity Retail environment who is keen to use their experience and develop their skills and expertise further in this important role. This post will need to work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Trading Director, Retail Area Managers and shop managers to ensure that they operate to a high standard and in an effective and efficient manner.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative fundraising team during a period of growth and investment. While the role supports a range of supporter engagement projects, its primary focus is leading the day-to-day management and development of the charity's growing online shop.

You'll play a key role in driving the charity's e-commerce strategy, helping maximise income through its Shopify store while also supporting new Regular Giving and Society Lottery initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the charity's Shopify store, overseeing day-to-day trading activity and supporter experience.

• Work with fulfilment partners and suppliers to manage stock levels, product launches and customer queries.

• Deliver promotional email campaigns and support digital marketing activity to increase traffic and sales.

• Lead preparations for key trading periods, including the Christmas campaign.

About you

We're looking for someone who can quickly take ownership of an established charity e-commerce operation.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience working within a charity or non-profit organisation.
• Experience managing a Shopify or charity e-commerce platform.
• Experience managing an online shop within the charity sector.
• Strong digital marketing and email campaign experience.
• Experience delivering supporter acquisition and/or engagement campaigns.
• Knowledge of stock management, fulfilment and supplier relationships.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Experience within an animal welfare charity would be highly advantageous, although candidates from other supporter-led charities will also be considered.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Virtual Casework Coordinator to join the Casework and Community Engagement Team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. 

About the role 

You will be responsible for the efficient daily operations of the Virtual Casework Office. You will be working collaboratively with SSAFA colleagues and volunteers across all Regional Offices to ensure SSAFA beneficiaries receive a consistent, timely, and high-quality service.

You will be responsible for providing specialist administrative support, working closely with SSAFA Regional Offices, this will include supporting the volunteer network including our highly trained caseworkers, particularly with completion of cases.

This role will be key in supporting regions transitioning to our new digital platform, stepping in where extra help is needed.

About the team 

The team operates within a "virtual" office and will assist in the rollout of the Network Delivery Project (NDP) across all regions. The successful candidate will join a support team that includes two virtual casework coordinators, under the guidance of the Virtual Casework Manager.

All team members are homebased.

About you 

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.

It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector would be valuable.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of paid colleagues and volunteers, offering clear guidance, encouragement, and development. Using your experience and management skills, you’ll help grow sales while making sure every customer and donor enjoys a welcoming and inclusive shop experience. In this role you will:

• Ensure shop sales performance is maximised, actively seeking ways to improve the shop’s performance on a continuous basis.

• Manage all aspects of stock collection and preparation; ensuring that stock processing levels are sufficient to achieve required shop floor density, encouraging stock donations at all times. Also support our online selling with identifying suitable items and listing on online selling platforms

• Recruit, manage and develop paid colleagues and volunteers within Scope’s HR and operational policies and procedures and build a strong team

• Work collaboratively with the Assistant Shop Manager

About you

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as either a Retail Shop Manager, Assistant Manager, or a Supervisor looking to step up, ideally in retail or charity shops.

• Commercially aware and able to spot opportunities

Our shops are the face of our retail brand, run by dedicated, creative, and passionate teams. Shop Hours

Scope shops are open every day. Some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed.

Full-time: 35 hours per week, five days out of seven

Part-time: Weekly hours on a seven-day rota

About the role

You’ll be working on direct marketing campaigns that engage and inspire people to donate. And make it as easy as possible for them to choose the way they give. As part of the team, you’ll be innovative in a changing fundraising and external environment to achieve ambitious annual income targets.

You’ll assist with and, when required, project manage direct marketing activities through campaign, project, and agency and supplier management in order to retain existing donors and acquire new ones. To ensure everyone feels good about their donation.

This role will primarily have a focus on digital fundraising and regular giving at Parkinson’s UK. 

What you’ll do

• Assist with and, when required, project manage direct marketing campaigns, both online and offline, maximising income through acquisition and stewardship communications to secure one-off and regular gifts. 

• Manage relationships with external agencies working on online and offline campaigns.

• Support the Senior Individual Giving Officers in achieving strategic objectives, monitoring income and expenditure and using database analysis to inform and improve the individual giving programme.

• Integrate the direct marketing programme into Fundraising and Experience Directorate activities and support the overall Parkinson’s UK strategic plan.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience of successfully scheduling and managing campaigns to deliver results against agreed objectives and targets.

• Excellent copywriting, creative and proofreading skills for both online and offline materials.

• Experience of operating in a modern digital workplace, including using digital tools, platforms and techniques to work collaboratively and productively. 

• Ability to review and evaluate data and campaign results and pull out key trends to inform future work.

We are seeking an experienced Conference and Events Manager to provide 12-month interim cover for our conference and events function.

Role Description

The Operations and Finance Manager will play a central role in ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the Foundation. The postholder will lead on governance, administration, finance, compliance and organisational systems, ensuring the charity operates efficiently, meets its regulatory obligations and has the infrastructure required to deliver its strategic objectives.

Operations, Finance and Governance

• Proven experience in an operations or administrative management role within a charity, arts, or non-profit organisation.

• Strong financial management experience, including budgeting and cash flow monitoring, invoice processing, payroll administration, project budget reconciliation, preparation of management accounts and financial reports, and coordination of year-end accounts preparation.

• Knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, payroll, and fostering positive work culture.
