About the Role:
As a Group Work Practitioner, you will be delivering a range of group work courses and programmes to adults affected by crime in the Thames Valley. You will be required to manage your own caseload and work in collaboration with other service delivery staff within the Thames Valley Adult Victims Service.
The Thames Valley Adult Victims Service will provide emotional and practical support to adult victims of any crime. Support will primarily be delivered through specialist group work provision, alongside online and telephone support.
You will be confident in co facilitating the delivery of group work programmes to people with a range of different needs and will have strong empathy skills. You will need to be able to talk to groups of people and will be resilient and confident with supporting others, as well as happy to work as part of a team.
You will need to have the ability to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner. Have an understanding and knowledge of, and an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity. Knowledge of confidentiality and safe working practice in accordance with safeguarding legislation, General Data Protection Regulation and other legal requirements.

We are looking for a part time Intervention Worker to join our Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme Service – the Your Choice Project (voluntary perpetrator programme).
Our Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme Service aligns with the Respect Standards – a framework for safe, effective, and survivor-focused work with perpetrators of domestic abuse in the UK. Due to specific requirements of the role (in line with Respect Standard B6) we are looking to recruit a male candidate to this post.
The Intervention Worker will be responsible for delivering sessions (group and one to one as may be required) with people who recognise that they are or have been using power and control to abuse their partner, ex-partner or family member and who want to address this behaviour. The Intervention Worker will undertake such sessions in a way that prioritises the safety of those at risk from domestic violence and abuse.

Background
Supporting Victims of Sexual Violence is a company Limited by Guarantee which is registered with the Charity Commission (Registered Number 1077863). The registered aims of the Charity are:
• to help relieve the suffering and distress of persons who have been raped or
sexually abused; and
• to advance the education of the public in the subject of rape and sexual
abuse and their effects.
The registered activities are:
• to promote the recovery of any adult or young person of any gender who has

• to offer one to one counselling, phone support, forensic medicals following
recent incidents, with or without police involvement, young people's service,

Purpose of the Job
The role is to provide a high quality, specialist service to victims of sexual violence including provision of one to one therapy for clients aged between 0 and 18. The role includes provision of therapeutic assessments to clients across Derbyshire who have been referred to the Therapy Service either through self-referral, or other external pathways.
To work within a multi-agency setting to provide an empathetic and pro-active support service to victims of historical sexual violence aged 0-17 and their families, within and outside of the criminal justice system, including pre-trial therapy.
This role is part of the Therapy Service which comprises of a team of Adult and Children’s Therapists offering counselling, therapy, support groups, parent support sessions and other therapeutic interventions to victims of sexual violence and secondary survivors.
Accountability
The Childrens Therapist will be line managed by The Therapy Delivery Manager. The post is part of a wider team at SV2 delivering a range of support services to victims of sexual violence.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
General
- Deliver appropriate individual face to face or phone/online therapeutic services to victims (aged 0-18) of historical sexual violence or abuse at any point in their lives.
· To provide specialist counselling assessments and one to one therapy in line with the specific funded project
· To work with the whole SV2 therapy team to ensure smooth transition of client referrals into the service
· Maintain current and accurate records of clients and client interactions, and provide reports and information on clinical practice as required, in line with BACP guidelines, SV2 policies and Data Protection Act using agreed frameworks
· To contribute towards the Clinical Governance process within the service
· Undertake CPD as identified in annual appraisal and line management processes
· To support members of the team and sub-contracted therapists to deliver support groups to clients
· To offer ad hoc psychoeducational support sessions to the parent/carers of children receiving therapy within the Therapy Service
· To support the Therapy Delivery Manager by taking an active role in the Student Counsellor Placement Scheme including promotion, interviews, induction, mentoring and offering ongoing support to student placements and volunteers
· To work within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Agency’s policies and procedures
- Monitor and record progress and outcomes for clients utilising SV2’s case management system, client support plan and other systems, as required
- Monitor, maintain, plan and prioritise own work and client caseload
- Liaise with other relevant external agencies in relation to the support of their clients
- Respond to safeguarding issues and liaise with staff in accordance with SV2’s safeguarding policies
- Provide information and reports for managers, as required
Professional
- To support and liaise closely with practitioners and professionals in SV2 and other external organisations
- Develop and maintain knowledge and skills relevant to this area of work which meets the needs of the Organisation, client group and sexual offences legislation

The Role
As a Project Lead for the ASB team you will be:
- Managing a small team of ASB caseworkers including performance management, monitoring and support

The role is home-based within Devon and Cornwall and therefore is open to applicants who both live in this area and have access to an appropriately confidential space in which to work. We are working with Pact, who are seeking an experienced Senior Manager (Major Gifts) with a proven track record of success to manage and grow their portfolio of major donors and legacies, to enable them to make a difference to the lives of those affected by criminal justice.
Pact is a successful national charity that provides life changing and lifesaving care for men, women and young people in custody, those with criminal convictions in the community and their children, family members and carers.
In this newly created role, the Senior Manager (Major Gifts) will provide strong stewardship of existing relationships of mid value and major donors, support and cultivate interest in Pact’s programmes and unrestricted giving and take responsibility for identifying and developing new major gifts from individuals and family trusts. In addition, you will strengthen and develop the legacy strategy and offer to existing and new individual supporter.
This is a senior, strategic role within Pact and you will have
- A proven track record and specialism in either legacy or major donor giving, and the autonomy to raise funds from individuals, including HNWIs and to lead on this area within a charity.
- Experience of researching and cultivating individuals including HNWIs and family trusts to secure financial support.
- Strong interpersonal skills, talented at building relationships and trust, and able to inspire long term commitment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey concepts and inspire a wide range of people through written & verbal channels, with the ability to build a case for support.
- Strong literacy, numeracy and budgeting skills and be capable of writing effective proposals, and reports. Experience of using Salesforce is desirable but not essential.
Originally the Catholic Prisoners Aid Society, founded in 1898, Pact has a largely Catholic supporter base, with warm and committed relationships with a wide range of Catholic and other Christian stakeholders. This is a key role for Pact, where you will work closely with other member of the fundraising and extended teams, collaborating with the Head of Faith in Action to cultivate and secure new support from Catholic people motivated by the work of Pact.
We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate an awareness of and interest in, key issues facing prisoners, ex-prisoners and their children and families, and can work effectively within the Catholic community, including the hierarchy, clergy, religious orders, lay community and networks and organisations.
There is not a requirement of the role that you are Catholic however an empathy with and understanding of Catholic social teaching and ability to relate to people inspired by their faith will be important to the role.
This role is home based; though you will need to be able to commute into London when required. A basic DBS check is required for this role.
