Airplay is a national youth work programme delivered by a partnership of YMCAs on behalf of the RAF Benevolent Fund (RAFBF). As the lead partner, One YMCA oversees the contract, manages central functions, and acts as the key point of contact for the RAFBF and RAF on behalf of the partnership.

The Role
We are seeking an Airplay Programme Manager to lead the Airplay Central Team and take overall operational responsibility for delivering and monitoring the Airplay programme.

We are looking for two Funding Officers to join the enthusiastic, friendly North West Region.
- Role one: One Full Time Funding Officer, based in the Greater Manchester team

You will play a major role in ensuring our funding supports a wide variety of communities and places across Greater Manchester/Lancashire and the North West region.
As a member of the funding team you will assess applications for funding and manage grants from our Reaching Communities and Partnerships programmes. You will use your local knowledge and experience, and the experience of our grant holders and local stakeholders, to ensure we are making the best decisions on the grants we make. By working closely with people and communities from a defined geographical area, you will understand what matters to them and where our funding can make the biggest difference.

The role is varied and will require you to:

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Data Officer will meet data needs relating to the management and delivery of supporter and engagement products. You will work alongside three other Data Officers to assess, prioritise and provide solutions including the building of data selections and journeys for direct marketing purposes and the running of supporter data imports and exports.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering data selections, Building automated journeys for fundraising and engagement activity to support increased income generation and supporter retention, ensuring communications are delivered to agreed Service Level Agreements.

About You

Role Purpose
To develop and deliver an Earthwatch individual giving programme. The role will focus on identifying opportunities to engage supporters, implementing activities to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, and increasing financial contributions from new and existing supporters. Strategy & Income Growth
- Develop and implement a multi-year individual giving strategy, including regular giving, one-off donations and legacy giving

- To project manage multiple appeals delivering accurate campaigns across digital, print, and telephone on time, to inspire and convert supporters, on budget to a high standard and meeting agreed targets.

The Role;
- Provide a caring, safe, secure and accepting environment that meets the physical, health, social needs and rights of the young people. This will include supporting less experienced staff via positive and effective team working to achieve high quality standards of care that are set and agreed by the Registered Manager on behalf of the Trust. This work will aim to respect and promote the needs of each young person arising from their racial, cultural and religious background.
- Assist with the assessments of need and formulation of plans. This involves working in partnership with other agencies and taking into account the wishes and feelings of the young people, their parents and other persons with parental responsibility, in line with legislation pertaining to the young people.
- Maximise educational opportunities and achievements for the young people looked after within the unit by assisting in identifying, establishing and supporting educational provision and contributing to educational reviews.
- Develop and maintain a good level of awareness of child protection issues, assessing and recording risk. This will include referring child protection issues to the Registered Manager and incorporating consistent boundary setting into everyday practice in order to ensure effectiveness in the prevention and appropriate management of challenging behaviour.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of the work undertaken with the young people and complete written reports for planning meetings and statutory reviews as necessary. - Undertake a range of domestic duties, including cooking and some cleaning, to a good standard, to ensure compliance with health and safety policies and the guidelines for young people and staff.
