About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Lebanon 

To provide a high standard of executive and personal assistance to the CEO. The role will be varied and will suit somebody with experience in supporting senior executives, excellent multi-tasking and combining an eye for detail and the ability to see the ‘bigger picture’. The right candidate will be efficient, diplomatic and have interpersonal skills to deal with senior staff and trustees. 

About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Executive Assistant to a senior executive. Excellent communication skills, including a high standard of written and spoken English. Self-motivated, flexible, discrete and able to make judgement calls as to when to take the initiative on the CEO’s behalf. Experience in preparing meeting agendas and minute-taking.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Complex diary management for the CEO, liaising with multiple stakeholders for timeslots and rescheduling appointments.

• Handle internal and external enquiries in a professional, confidential manner; dealing with these to conclusion where possible, or referring them to the appropriate person.

• Monitoring CEO inbox to flag urgent emails and highlight unanswered emails.

• Take accurate minutes of regular and ad hoc meetings as requested by the CEO, monitor progress on agreed actions and follow up with action holders directly as necessary.

• Manage and organise Monthly All Staff meetings, Weekly Update meetings and other meetings requested by the CEO, and ensure all audio/ visual set-up is working, and agendas are updated.

• Manage arrangements for incoming visitors (from MAP’s overseas offices and external), arranging meeting schedules, and assisting with travel and hotel bookings.

• Organise venues, flights, accommodation, visas, meals and taxis for SMT offsite workshops and Project based workshops for CEO, SMT members and the participating MAP staff.

• Manage expenses and credit card statement invoices of the CEO.

• Review expenses, leave requests and other items that need CEO approval, as requested by the CEO, and make recommendations to the CEO

• Ensure various email distribution lists / Teams groups are up to date and IT issues are resolved.

• Responsible for collating data from stakeholders and drafting the Weekly Newsletter.

• Ordering and managing stock of stationary for the UK office and workshops.

• Organising social events for the UK office (including yearly Christmas event) 

• Organizing catering for onsite meetings when requested

• Organise and maintain a logical online filing system on SharePoint as requested by the CEO

• To be available out of hours when the CEO is travelling. 

• Support with the administration of Board and Committee meetings, including booking meeting venues, collating reading materials and taking meeting minutes

• Work collaboratively with others in all aspects of our work

• Perform other associated duties as may arise in line with the remit of the position of EA.

• Experience as an Executive Assistant to a senior executive.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working to specific income targets, the Supporter Engagement Manager is responsible for acquisition campaigns including regular giving, direct mail appeals, online fundraising, legacys;  retention campaigns including ongoing stewardship to increase supporter engagement. You will grow relationships with supporters and work closely with wider fundraisering team to devise and execute creative and effective stewardship journeys. You will have a sound understanding of fundraising membership schemes and sector regulations, with knowledge of best practice CRM and/or fundrasing database.

The Supporter Engagement Manager will work with the Senior Head of Supporter Engagement to develop the strategy for increasing income across all individual giving streams and then work with the Marketing and Communications Manager and the wider team to impliment it. You will play an instrumental part in creatively engaging supporters to get involved in our high-value campaigns, events and regular giving programme. This includes our annual matched-funding campaign and reoccuring giving programmes, which last year raised £1m and £150k respectively. The post-holder will be key in taking the Individual Giving programme to the next level, providing proactive engagement opportunities and efficiently work with data to provide timely, targeted, relevant and engaging communications to our various supporters.

Job description

Reporting to the Managing Director and in coordination with the Artistic Director and Deputy Artistic Director, you will handle the orchestra’s diary, lead on the production of projects and line manage the Orchestra & Tour Manager and our Production freelancers.

· Attending all Chineke! rehearsals, projects and tours

· Working closely with the artistic team to assist on curation of programmes, keeping track of conductor/soloist invites and handling contracting once bookings have been confirmed

· Keeping track of our National Portfolio Organisation requirements with Arts Council and planning projects to meet our targets on the number of concerts in each category that we have committed to in each financial year

· Working closely with our important partners i.e. Askonas Holt, Southbank Centre, Woolwich Works, Royal Albert Hall

With an ambitious plan to grow our income from Individual Giving, it's an exciting time to be joining Age International.

In this fixed-term role, you will support the Direct Marketing Manager - Loyalty to manage the donor loyalty programme. You will develop and manage existing and new supporter communication programmes growing loyalty in our supporter base. The aim is to maximise the value of our long-term relationships with individual supporters.

This role is a varied one, with superb development opportunities. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for the print-based communications we send to our supporters but also email production with the view of developing the loyalty digital journey. Furthermore, you'll contribute to the development of our legacy and in memory activities, and high value offer. You'll also have the opportunity to support the supporter acquisition team on projects to gain new donors. Consequently, the role gives you the opportunity to grow your experience in supporter acquisition, as well as loyalty. And you will play a key part in delivering emergency appeals - when the work that you do will have a direct impact in saving older people's lives during a crisis.

As we continue to develop our Individual Giving strategy, you will have the chance to be involved in new initiatives and communications.

Cancer Research UK is the most trusted provider of cancer information in the UK and you will be responsible for helping steer what we say and how we say it, ensuring our health information is evidence based, accessible and credible.

What will I be doing?

• Developing a sound knowledge base of key research relevant to cancer risk, prevention, early diagnosis and screening

• Taking the lead on appraising and critiquing evidence for specific topic areas, including contributing to team discussions and written summaries for these topics

• Producing internal evidence summaries/briefings on topics related to cancer risk, prevention, screening and early diagnosis, as required

• Producing accurate, engaging and enabling content on cancer risk, prevention, early diagnosis and screening for our audiences through a range of channels, including leaflets, newsletters, websites, blogs and social media

• Developing an understanding of the key audiences for cancer risk, prevention, screening and early diagnosis information and how to address inequalities in people's ability to access, interpret and act upon health information

The All Dressed Up campaign—developed with World Book Day and Rubies Masquerade—confronted the often-overlooked issue of financial exclusion on key celebration days. More than 100,000 free dressing up costumes worth £1.34 million were delivered to children from low-income families. By enabling participation in events like World Book Day, we helped spark imagination, joy, and belonging for children who might otherwise feel left out—boosting self-esteem and supporting a positive connection to learning.Furthermore, helping attract children into school on a day which often sees struggling parents keep their children at home.

Alongside these national campaigns, Parentkind supports families year-round through a growing suite of programmes designed to inform, prepare and empower parents. Our Be School Ready programme offers crucial guidance and confidence to parents preparing their children for the leap into primary education. With a mix of practical advice, developmental tips, and reassurance, through the distribution of 150,000 copies of Be School Ready and an online campaign, it supports families at one of the most formative moments in their child’s life.

We also deliver a wide-ranging series of live expert webinars and parent-friendly resources, covering topics such as managing anxiety, supporting special educational needs, navigating school transitions, and building home-school partnerships. Our collaboration with Asda on Cashpot for Schools is another example of unlocking support at scale. This innovative community-led funding model allowed shoppers to nominate and fund their local schools simply through everyday spending. This campaign has generated £5.78 million for schools during the past twelve months, supporting everything from basic classroom supplies to vital extracurricular programmes and pupil wellbeing initiatives. Also shortlisted for a Business Charity Award, it is already a model for community-driven philanthropy.

In April, we launched our Parent-Friendly Schools Accreditation Programme, designed to formally recognise schools that go above and beyond in fostering positive, inclusive relationships with parents. The accreditation celebrates schools that actively listen to parent voices, make engagement easy and accessible, and embed family partnership in their culture. It is a practical and inspiring tool to drive long-term change in the sector and offers a roadmap for schools wanting to strengthen their community.

Our focus on Policy & Research

Our work is grounded in evidence. Since 2023, we have conducted the UK’s largest annual parent survey: the National Parent Survey. With approaching 6,000 participants providing 130,000 bits of data to provide invaluable insights into the struggles, concerns, hopes and fears of parents. The findings are fed directly into government consultations and have already informed national debates on school funding, attendance, mental health support, SEND provision, and curriculum reform.

In each of the past two years the number of policymakers, educators, parents and researchers accessing the National Parent Survey exceeded seven thousand, and the survey featured in more than two hundred media outlets each year.Excitingly, the Times & Sunday Times are partnering with Parentkind to raise the profile even further in September 2025 and the survey will be launched at a lighthouse event featuring the Secretary of State for Education (Bridget Phillipson), the Ofsted Chief Inspector of Schools (Sir Martyn Oliver), the CEO of Mumsnet (Justine Roberts), the Children’s Commissioner (Dame Rachel De Souza), and our own Chief Executive (Jason Elsom). 

In addition to the National Parent Survey, Parentkind undertakes representative polling of parents throughout the year on a variety of important topics, which increasingly find exposure in the media and policy discussion.

Parentkind provides the secretariat for the Westminster APPG for Parents and the Stormont APG for Parental Participation in Education. Two very successful parliamentary groups bringing together policymakers and a variety of stakeholders to consider the challenges faced by parents and act as a voice for them through a variety of policymakers.

Our Media Engagement

Since becoming recognised as the UK’s largest parent charity, with likely more groups and frontline volunteers than the Scouts or Girlguiding, Parentkind has gained increasing prominence in the media.Beyond the reach of the National Parent Survey and our regular polling, Parentkind receives frequent requests for quotes of reflection and input by media in relation to their journalism and from Government and non-Government entities in support of policy announcements.

Beyond this, the Parentkind community of volunteers and PTAs share local or regional media announcements of their own.Whether or not it celebrating the completion of large projects they have invested countless hours and thousands of pounds into realising, or the community event they have worked into the night to deliver for their school communities.

It will be your role to take this much further, gaining increasing exposure for the work of Parentkind, its community, and parents more broadly.

· Promoting our parent polling data and work across social media platforms with eye catching content. 

· Providing comment on topical issues for social media so that we are part of the conversation.

· Build relationships with broadcast media so we get asked to appear on broadcast media more often. There’s a chance for you to be a talking head too.

· Help to draft parent polls and reports with a focus on compelling questions that will hit the front page. We need a brilliant writer, able to turn facts and figures into engaging narratives with bold headlines and strong messages that catch the eye. Boring writers need not apply…

· Draft eye catching press releases with bold headlines and a compelling narrative to promote the work we do across the charity. You’ll also place the press releases with national journalists leading to high profile coverage.

· Support the authoring of articles, op-eds and blog posts by members of the Executive Leadership Team.

· Be responsible for media monitoring, measuring our media hits, and reporting on coverage and interesting themes for the Executive Leadership.

Your mission is to massively increase our online, in print and social media presence to make us the highest profile parent charity in the UK. We don’t need you to be an education expert, we need someone to get us on the front page.

We have a huge amount of data on what parents think and we need you to get it seen. This is a great job for someone who wants to grab hold of a “comms” function and make it their own.

Impatience Earth is a non-profit climate philanthropy consultancy founded in 2020 with a mission to educate, challenge and inspire wealth holders to take bolder funding decisions to address the climate emergency.

We have a role available for someone to join our small but mighty team to deliver high-level support to our CEO and Deputy CEO, helping them achieve their strategic priorities by managing their calendar and emails, supporting them with prioritisation of tasks and managing key projects. A smaller part of the role will be to provide support as a Team Manager, which will entail coordinating team meetings and away days, and supporting with the administration of projects.

We are looking for a detailed-oriented, highly organised and proactive individual who loves the idea of helping fast-paced, ambitious organisations work more smoothly and effectively. The Opportunity

We are looking for a diligent and data-minded Grants Assistant to join our small and dynamic team. This new role will support the WFN grants team in monitoring and evaluating active grants, analysing and assessing the charity’s impact, and in the smooth running of our grants programmes. This is an entry level role, ideal for a candidate looking to put their conservation expertise into practice, and to support impactful grassroots conservation work around the world.

Essential Responsibilities

• Align the UK DAF strategy with the broader high net worth engagement strategy , collaborating with colleagues to maximise impact. 
• Build Humane World for Animals’ UK DAF portfolio: identify, cultivate, solicit and deliver significant relationships and partnerships with wealth advisors and DAF managers. 
• Conduct outreach to wealth advisors outside the Humane World for Animals network who may not yet be familiar with our work and raising our profile with this specific audience, including via networking and events opportunities. 
• Formulate and implement individual strategies for developing key DAF partnerships and initiatives around programmatic priorities, mobilising necessary internal and external resources to ensure all partnerships are effectively executed and partners’ needs are fully met. About this role

The Communications and Media Officer, part of SPANA’s Communications and Campaigns team, creates high-quality content and drives impactful communications to support the charity’s mission and raise the profile of working animals in the global news agenda.

The role involves producing engaging written, digital and visual content across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency with SPANA’s brand and messaging. It also includes managing and cataloguing content assets to support the organisation’s ongoing communications needs. Through compelling storytelling and collaboration across teams, the role helps drive awareness, advocacy, fundraising and internal engagement. The post holder will also support the Head of Communications and Campaigns in building and maintaining relationships with high-profile public figures, including celebrities and social media influencers.

Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week), permanent role. SPANA works on a hybrid basis, with staff required to work for 1-2 days per month (or more if preferred) from our London office. Staff must be based in the UK with the current right to work.
