Purpose
This role leads the coordination of Kids’ online engagement and digital inclusion work for young people with SEND, including information provision, participation, and wellbeing support. You will deliver a two-year Online Wellbeing and Resilience Support Programme, including identifying and engaging digitally excluded young people to help them access vital digital tools and services. The role also drives collaboration across the Digital Services Consortium (a collaboration of 12 children’s charities), embedding shared learning, outcome measurement, and inclusive digital practices across Kids, and will create new capacity to work with young people to scope and deploy online campaigning activity.
Responsibilities
- To lead and coordinate Kids’ online engagement and inclusion work for young people with SEND. This includes Kids’ online information provision; voice/ participation and wellbeing work.
- To develop and deliver Kids’ two-year digital inclusion programme, Online Wellbeing and Resilience Support Programme* to ensure reach and impact is maximised.
- To work with the Digital Services Consortium Driving Digital Inclusion members on shared digital project outcome measures and community of practice, ensuring learnings and online engagement and digital inclusion principles are captured, shared and built into the organisation.
- To identify and recruit (working closely with colleagues from services across Kids) digitally excluded young people to the digital inclusion programme so they can become digitally included and access much needed support and guidance.
- To establish a holistic and joined up approach to Young People’s online engagement and digital inclusion with Kids.
- To create new capacity to work across all services and teams, and with a range of young people, to scope and deploy online campaigning capabilities in line with Kids’ Speak Up and wider national and local influencing work.

- Ensuring an audience-led approach, leading and championing an important collaborative way of working across Kids existing young people's services.
- Confidently working within the Kids digital infrastructure and context – understanding where we are at on our digital journey, building excellent problem-solving relationships with marketing, IT, change team and young people’s services colleagues.

*About the funded programme
Kids Online Wellbeing and Resilience Support Programme will help young people with SEND (aged 13 – 25 years) build resilience, positive self-regard and meaningful connections.
Our goal is to reduce isolation and protect mental health through a supportive, inclusive digital environment. We’ll begin by consulting directly with young people to understand what they need most. Together, we’ll co-create new online content and resources that truly reflect their voices and experiences.
What the Programme Offers:
- Online information with resources codesigned with young people with SEND.
- A series of interactive webinars and guided online activities.
- Free devices and data to improve access to those who need it most, plus the support to ensure everyone can participate.
We will reach over 1,800 young people over the two year funded period.

About the role:

The Digital Campaigns Officer is part of the Campaign Activism team, which works to make sure that our campaigns work effectively with our activist network, our international network, and makes best use of our supporter base for campaigning. You’ll also be working with a wide range of teams and campaigns across the organisation, including the marketing and digital teams.

We’re looking for someone who has some understanding of online campaigning, can pick up digital tools quickly, and who is comfortable writing high-quality copy sometimes to tight deadlines. You’ll be working across a variety of different campaigns, so will need to be a well-organised communicator and pick up ideas quickly.

About the role
This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT people who have experienced sexual abuse or violence. Your work will enable LGBT people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of sexual abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.
You will be joining our advocacy and support team, supporting LGBT survivors across London. You will work directly with LGBT victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related to experiences of sexual abuse or violence, including issues such as attending a sexual assault referral centre (SARC), support with the criminal and civil justice process, providing support at court during trial, safety, and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.
You will work with mainstream services to ensure the voices and experiences of LGBT survivors are represented in order to make change for our community at a local and national level. Rivers Project Officer
Location: Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre, Denham, Nr. Uxbridge
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £28,000, rising to £29,500 upon successful completion of probation period
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are looking for an enthusiastic Rivers Project Officer to deliver a variety of river enhancement, monitoring and citizen science-based community engagement across the Colne Catchment.
Summary of role: This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s passionate about healthy rivers, skilled in ecological monitoring, and keen to bring people together to care for their local environment. The Rivers Project Officer will deliver river enhancement monitoring, and community engagement initiatives across the Colne Catchment — a landscape that stretches from internationally rare chalk rivers to the gravel pits and reservoirs of the Colne Valley Regional Park. This unique catchment supports remarkable wildlife, offers diverse recreational opportunities, and plays a vital role in public water supply.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering and analysing environmental data to inform action and solve catchment challenges.
- Monitoring water quality, riverfly populations, and physical habitats.
- Organising citizen science and hands-on conservation activities with local communities.
- Inspiring awareness, stewardship, and practical enhancement of local watercourses.

About the role
This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT people who have experienced sexual abuse or violence. Your work will enable TNBI people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of sexual abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.
You will be joining our advocacy and support team, supporting TNBI survivors across the UK. You will work directly with TNBI victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related to experiences of sexual abuse or violence, including issues such as attending a sexual assault referral centre (SARC), support with the criminal and civil justice process, providing support at court during trial, safety, and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.
You will work with mainstream services to ensure the voices and experiences of TNBI survivors are represented in order to make change for our community at a local and national level. You will also work closely with key partner organisations by attending meetings and have the opportunity to take part in external work to ensure a joined-up approach among services working with LGBT people facing abuse and violence.

About the role
This role will support and empower LGBT survivors of domestic abuse to overcome the impacts of abuse and rebuild their lives. You will provide direct advocacy and step-down support for medium-risk individuals in safe accommodation, enabling them to engage with a range of recovery-focused interventions.
Your work will be trauma-informed, empowerment-based, and person-centred, tailored to each individual’s needs. Support may include emotional and practical assistance, help to navigate specialist services, and enabling clients to access group recovery sessions or one-to-one psychoeducational interventions.
