The Head of Fundraising Innovation is responsible for the development and delivery of the 5-year strategy across fundraising product innovation. They are responsible for the leading the Fundraising Innovation team in strategic development, testing and scaling of innovative fundraising products, as well as the testing and optimisation of online fundraising to improve conversion, retention and lifetime value. Ensuring the team stay ahead of sector and digital trends, translating insight into practical product development that grows income and enhances supporter experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Marketing Strategy
· In collaboration with the Director of Supporter Led Fundraising and fellow F&M Heads, plan, implement and deliver the 2033 Fundraising & Marketing Strategy.
· Shapes and oversees the fundraising innovation programme, creating the systems, culture, and strategic direction needed to enable a sustainable pipeline of breakthrough ideas that drive long‑term income growth.
· Maintain a central and neutral position across Fundraising and Marketing, ensuring cross organisational alignment and impartial prioritisation of innovation across portfolios.
· Responsible for the overarching Innovation and Online Fundraising in year plans and strategy
· Direct line management of 2 managers.
· Lead Fundraising Innovation team of 5.
Fundraising Product Strategy
· Lead fundraising innovation team of two.
· Support the Fundraising Innovation Manager on their leadership of the innovation programme board FAME, and fundraising product innovation roadmap aligned to driving income growth and supporter engagement objectives.
· Support the Fundraising Innovation Manager to identify opportunities to evolve existing fundraising products and create new digital-first income streams.
Online Fundraising Innovation
· Lead online fundraising team of three.
· Support Online Fundraising Manager in testing and optimising online fundraising to improve conversion, retention and lifetime value.
· Stay ahead of sector and digital trends, translating insight into practical product development.
· Supporter Experience & Insight
· Ensure Innovation and online fundraising teams design supporter-centred fundraising products informed by insight, data and user research.
· Ensure products are accessible, inclusive and aligned with brand and values.
Testing, Data & Performance
· Establish and monitor processes for the team that allow robust testing and evaluation frameworks for new and existing fundraising products.
· Establish processes and ways of working for the team that ensure they use data and analytics to inform product decisions and prioritisation.
· Define and track KPIs including income performance, engagement metrics and ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Collaborate across ARUK to deliver fundraising innovation that drives organisational strategic priorities.
· Manage relationships with external platforms, agencies and suppliers.
· Ensure compliance with GDPR, ethical fundraising standards and safeguarding policies.
Leadership & Capability Building
· Lead and develop a high-performing fundraising innovation team and online fundraising team.
· Responsibility of innovation budgets and forecasts.
· Build product-led thinking and innovation capability across fundraising teams.
Budget management and reporting
· Ensure that all financial targets are met and that the team is managed in the most cost-effective way possible
· Compile 3-year forecasts and annual budgets in line with operational planning
· Ensure any necessary mitigation planning is carried out to achieve budget.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
- Significant experience in fundraising product development or innovation, ideally in the charity or not-for-profit sector.
- Proven track record of developing and scaling fundraising products or online income streams.
- Experience working with testing frameworks, analytics and performance measurement.
· Experience of leading multi-function teams to achieve goals and maintain a wave-maker team culture.
· Experience of managing agencies and suppliers and ensuring all contractual requirements are delivered on time and budget.
· Experience of analysing and monitoring data in a consumer/supporter environment and utilising outputs to advise and drive forward activity.
· Skills in producing evaluations, proposals and reporting on objectives and sharing insights.
· Demonstrable ability to work with a variety of different internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to balance innovation, income and supporter experience.

As part of our Agile ways of working, you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of Alzheimer's Research UK’s Supporter Experience strategy. This is a transformation programme and requires a leader who can not only lead a team but support an organisation to work collaboratively to enhance supporters trust, satisfaction and connection with their relationship with Alzheimer’s Research UK, recognising the importance of their role in helping to get to a cure.
The Head of Supporter Experience will lead two critical teams who all contribute to delivering our Supporter Experience; the Supporter Operations function which include both Supporter Relations (front end) and Fundraising Operations (back end) and the Supporter Engagement and Journeys team. But you’ll also work collaboratively to improve our Supporter Experience across the organisation – including those who give money, time, voice influence and deliver our mission (partners and researchers).
You will champion, design and oversee the implementation a personal, relevant and tailored experience – either through direct responsibilities or through influence, coaching and inspiring colleagues across the organisation to ensure that we are delivering our brand and supporter experience principles consistently across all supporter touch points and communications.
You’ll bring expertise in designing and delivering marketing personalisation and data automation through frameworks and tools meaning you’ll be data literate and experienced in implementing and embedding a martech approach. But most importantly you’ll be passionate about giving supporters a fantastic experience so that they stay longer, do more and feel like a valued part of getting to a cure for dementia.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Experience Leadership:
· Lead and own the Supporter Experience Transformation Programme, providing strategic leadership which enables the successful implementation and ongoing integration of our Supporter Experience strategy across the organisation to achieve its long-term goals.
· Develop a high performing Supporter Experience team, creating synergy and consistency of our supporter relations, operations and supporter engagement (journeys and loyalty comms).
· Coach and inspire colleges across the organisation, working collaboratively to embed supporter principles and journey frameworks to support the delivery of our organisation objectives within time, money and voice, leading for our holistic and joined up experience, moving us away from product / audience silos.

Technical leadership:
· You will be responsible for ensuring Fundraising Operations are integrated, automated, compliant and efficient, not just within your own teams, but also across all of fundraising, marketing, communications and engagement.
· Always champion the supporter, working closely with our Head of Marketing Planning and Head of Insight and BI Teams to record, track and utilise supporter insights and Supporter Experience performance data to optimise our Supporter Experience Strategy.

As a Research Communications Assistant, you will join our Research Communications team within the Research and Innovation department, reporting to the Research Information Manager. You will work across teams to make sure our research is understood, valued and impactful.

What you’ll do
You will play a key role in helping our research reach the right people in the right way. This means not only creating and supporting engaging content, but also helping the team stay organised, connected and forward looking.

Some days will be creative, others more operational, but all will contribute to helping people better understand dementia research and why it matters.

The Woodland Trust is looking for an Assistant Site Manager in the South East (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire). The role forms part of the Southeast Region’s Operations team and involve working closely with the two Site Managers responsible for Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Together, you will support the management of the Woodland Trust’s sites across these three counties.

The Role:

The Candidate:
We are looking for candidates who have the following:
- You’ll have practical experience of land-based management in the forestry or nature conservation sector.
- Proven experience of community engagement and managing strong, inclusive relationships with volunteers to deliver effective engagement activity, ensuring best practice and safeguarding.
- Proven experience of contractor work, including having worked as a land-based contractor or working with external contractors, with an understanding of contractual requirements and site standards.

As a Research Nurse Programme Assistant, you will support a national programme that is helping more people access dementia clinical trials across the UK. You will work with NHS sites, research nurses and colleagues across the UK Dementia Trials Network to support training, communication and coordination. You will help ensure information, resources and learning are shared consistently, and that people involved in the programme feel supported, informed and connected.

About the role
The Chief Operating Officer at GLAN will play a crucial role in steering the team in the successful implementation of the charity’s organisational strategy, and will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the organisation – in order to build a sustainable, compliant, resilient and well-governed organisation.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track-record of delivering financial oversight and overseeing complex budgets and projects to completion in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who possesses excellent people skills, who is emotionally intelligent and can guide a dynamic team remotely.
The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for the delivery of core services and will manage a core team of staff to deliver Finance, HR, Fundraising, Communications and Governance.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar role, with in depth understanding of how charitable, purpose driven organisations operate. You must have excellent leadership skills, a solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics, financial planning and budgeting skills, and an advanced understanding of business planning, budget and project management.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Leadership
- Lead the Senior Leadership team in the implementation of our revised organisational strategy 2027-2030.
- Ensure organisation-wide financial oversight and operational business planning.
- Provide guidance and support to GLAN’s team.
- Deputise for the CEO when necessary and take ownership of high-level decision-making.
Operational oversight
- Maintain operational oversight so that legal, advocacy, funding and finance align with GLAN’s organisational strategy.
- Oversee and facilitate the flow of information between the legal and operational teams so that our legal case works aligns with finances, commitments to funders, team capacity, and communications plans.
- Ensure that systems enable on-going monitoring of expenditure so that fundraising and finance are aware of gaps/underspends.
- Help ensure cases/teams are sufficiently resourced in terms of staff capacity.
- Ensure joined up working, and provide strategic guidance when challenges arise.
People and culture
- Provide strong leadership to ensure a professional and healthy working culture.
- Build on GLAN’s existing commitments to a working culture that is in line with our values, overseeing team-wide consistency to HR line-management, 1:1’s, annual 360 reviews and performance.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development and staff feedback.
- Ensure policies on anti-racism, equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing are embedded in how we work.
- Support the embedding of GLAN’s values across GLAN’s work.
- Oversee relationship and dialogue between GLAN’s SLT and Trade Union representatives.
Governance and Board relationships
- Lead on ensuring that GLAN is compliant with our legal, regulatory, health & safety, data protection / GDPR and employment law obligations.
- Ensure we have all necessary policies in place and take the lead on coordinating the establishment and review of existing and further policies. Oversee the regular review of GLAN’s risk management frameworks and our risk register.
- Oversee GLAN’s governance structures (internal reporting, Board meetings etc.), ensuring decisions are well informed and documented.
Financial oversight
- Oversee financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, expenditure controls, financial reporting, payroll.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements and donor / funder financial reporting obligations.
- Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, banks, and financial service providers.
- Ensure best practices are followed and financial risk is identified and managed appropriately.
Operations
- Ensure the smooth running of IT, data protection, office management. Managing relationships with our external providers.
Person Specification
Essential
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in senior leadership roles, delivering successful organisational financial oversight- with expertise in business planning and complex project management.
- Demonstrable experience of high-level budgeting, forecasting, auditing, proven accountability for ensuring financial sustainability and compliance.
- Minimum of 10 year’s line management experience.
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills, able to bridge between high-level strategy and operational detail.
- Sound judgement, risk-management and governance experience; familiarity with compliance, data protection / GDPR, employment law etc.
- Exceptionally organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex operational, financial or legal information clearly.

About the role:
The MARAC Administrator will support the MARAC Coordinator in the administering the MARAC process. The post holder will be co-located in Brent and will be required to attend MARAC meetings in various locations as required. There will also be a requirement to attend Advance’s Head office.
The MARAC Administrator will process MARAC referrals and flag to the MARAC Coordinator any referrals that have insufficient information or may not meet the MARAC threshold. The post holder will also compile the MARAC At Risk List for approval by the MARAC Coordinator, including case details of survivors and perpetrators who will be discussed at the MARAC.
About You:
To be successful as the MARAC Administrator you will need the below experience and skills:

An understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic violence (physical, emotional and sexual violence, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families and communities.
