The Projects Administrator will support the Projects Manager in identifying, evaluating and overseeing projects in Central Asia including Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have some background in project management, strong organisational skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of suffering Christians through effective grant management

Main duties and responsibilities

· Project Identification and Evaluation

o Focusing on Central Asia. evaluate project applications for alignment with BA's mission, feasibility, risks, issues, and impact. This includes assessing comprehensive project plans, their objectives, timelines and budgets.

o Form part of the disaster response team for Barnabas Aid

• Assist in identifying potential partners and projects that support persecuted and suffering Christians.
• Assist in demographic research on the region.

o Assist in presenting proposals to the Projects & Disbursement sub-committee for their deliberation and decision-making.

· Grant Administration

o Oversee the administration of the grant-making process, from initial proposal evaluation to monitoring and final reporting upon completion of projects.

o Ensure that approved projects comply with BA’s internal policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements in the UK and the partner’s country.

o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of funded projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and budgets.

· Stakeholder Engagement

o Support the Projects Manager in maintaining relationships with project partners and other key stakeholders.

o Communicate regularly with project partners to provide guidance and support during the application process, and implementation stage once proposals are approved.

 · Budget Administration

o Provide support in tracking the region’s budget and expenditures, to ensure financial accountability and transparency.

o Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports and updates for senior management and other stakeholders.

 · Reporting and Documentation

o Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including agreements, reports, and correspondence.

o Maintain the projects database for all records related to the region and prepare reports as required.

• Monitor, evaluate, and report on approved projects in the region.
• Schedule meetings, take minutes, and keep records of meeting minutes.

The service provides 24 hours supported accommodation for high needs mental health service users. It compromises of 11 units which offers higher levels of 
support in comparison to the wider supported living pathway. Service users at Teresa House may have treatment resistant mental health needs that are complicated by substance misuse, challenging behaviour including low level offending and long-term physical health conditions. All support is delivered in-line with the principles of trauma-informed recovery/empowerment/co-production.

About the role

This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Ealing. About the Role

We are looking to hire a skilled and engaging Education Officer to join a busy team, supporting the implementation and expansion of an established educational outreach programme, which reaches children in Scotland and Northern England.

At present, this post has funding for three years from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, 1.5 years of which is now complete and we are looking for someone to deliver the second 1.5 years of the project.

The purpose of the role is to extend passion and knowledge of beavers into communities around Britain, to engage and enthuse young people and to reconnect (or reinforce) their love of nature. Using and tailoring current materials and resources, you will do so by delivering high-quality learning sessions within schools, community groups or virtual training sessions, sometimes delivered in conjunction with beaver site partners and their education teams.

You will also be responsible for supporting wider aspects of the programme together with the Education Team, according to the requirements for each country and in partnership with relevant organisations

Key responsibilities include:

· Deliver a range of exciting, curriculum-linked workshops, non-curriculum home education talks, school and group sessions associated with beaver release sites.

· Run regional events and outreach activities to expand engagement in beaver education.

· Network and build contacts and relationships with key personnel in schools, youth groups and community groups in order to create engagement with the education programme and expand its reach.

· Support the development of further resources, activities and events specific to the country and region, and deliver existing activities for group learning.

· Monitor, collate and report on work carried out, toward learning goals and impact reporting, coordinated by the Senior Education Officer to support the programme evaluation.

· Support volunteers and build capacity working with partner site staff in the delivery of beaver education programmes.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience of working with young audiences, preferably within a wildlife or conservation setting. · A foundation degree level or equivalent in a zoology, biology or conservation-related field, OR; A teaching/education qualification or equivalent experience in teaching, using different delivery methods including virtual delivery. · The ability to communicate complex concepts in an innovative and engaging way to a young audience.

· The skill set to inspire people to connect with nature, to support teachers, deliver talks, presentations and education sessions.

· Competent use of IT skills, preferably Google Suite, and high standards for visual content.

About the role

We are seeking a Substance Misuse Worker who has a specialism in mental health and substance use to join our team in Catford. You will be based within a 24 hour service which provides enhanced rehabilitation support to adults who have been diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health, who would benefit from an intensive rehabilitation and recovery-focused approach. Within this role, you will provide specialist knowledge and experience to support the wider team and residents to help them to overcome their personal barriers.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning.

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. About this role

As a Communications Manager your responsibilities would include: -    

1. Lead, inspire and manage the Communications team to raise the profile of Carers First with multiple audiences and awareness of the issues affecting carers 
2. Develop our digital offer across England to expand our reach and engagement with carers online, helping them to access timely and relevant information.
3. Support the wider Carers First team with the promotion and delivery of projects and events to strengthen our offer and services for carers. 
4. Work with the Director of Income and Engagement, and the wider fundraising team, to support campaigns, events and marketing approaches that increase Carers First’s voluntary income and wider donor engagement
5. Effectively develop and manage a range of stakeholder relationships to deliver the Communications Plan.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

Leadership and management 

• At least 3 years of experience in a senior communications position, ideally within the charity or public sectors

• Proven ability to manage both strategy and delivery programmes, balancing long-term objectives with operational priorities
• Superb manager with the proven ability to inspire, motivate, support and lead staff to thrive and create a high performing team and measurable results.

Communications and stakeholder engagement 

• Proven experience of developing and delivering marketing and/or communications plans 

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled copywriter able to communicate messages in a clear and engaging way

IT and digital experience  

• Experience using Canva or similar accessible content creation tools, with an eye for strong visual design and brand consistency
• Ability to simplify systems and processes, particularly spreadsheet-based workflows
• Experience using CRM systems, analytics tools, email marketing software, and social media platforms

Fundraising and project management 

• Previous experience working in support of fundraising campaigns, or relevant marketing approaches
