As the Digital Marketing Officer, you will be an integral part of our communications team, responsible for the day to day running of our social media channels and website content, and support on email engagement and paid acquisition.

Scope of the Digital Marketing Officer's role

• Social media and community management - Manages daily activity across social channels, creates content,  engages with followers, and supports paid campaigns.
• Content creation and digital design - Designs digital assets and writes copy for social, web, and campaigns, ensuring content is on brand and engaging.
• Email marketing - Supports the creation and delivery of email campaigns, including copy, design with the aim of enhancing audience engagement.
• Website management - Support the day-to-day management of Ovarian Cancer Action’s website.
• Wider communications support - Contributes to campaigns, events, and content planning across all of our functional teams.

Richmond Carers Centre has the mission to help unpaid and family adult carers to live a full, active and meaningful life by providing them with advice, information, activities, breaks and emotional support either face to face, by phone or by email to enable them to live well.

As the Adult Carers Activities Coordinator, you will directly deliver our leisure break activity and training programmes. You will plan, deliver, promote and review a programme of activities for adult carers, including outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. The core aim of the activity programme is to provide carers with a much needed break from their caring responsibilities, in a safe and social environment where they can meet other carers and focus on their wellbeing.

• To work with relevant professionals to deliver a programme of wellbeing activities, including yoga, Pilates and complementary therapies.
• To recruit, train, support and manage volunteers and paid sessional staff to contribute to the delivery of a selection of the activities and workshops.
• To research and continually develop the activities and training programmes to ensure it is responsive to carers needs.
• To create promotional material to promote activities and training opportunities to carers registered with Richmond Carers Centre.
• To work with Adult Carers Support Team Leader to ensure activities are within budget, achieving targets and meeting the requirements of funders.

Role Requirements

• Provide high quality, evidence-based music therapy provision for children and young people, in partnership with other members of the Multidisciplinary Team.
• Undertake Psychosocial Assessments to assess the holistic needs of CYPF.
• Undertake specialist music therapy assessments of children with highly complex needs, e.g. co-occurring needs, through standardised and non-standardised assessments and clinical observations.
• Chair internal meetings to gain shared understandings of the presenting issues and intervention plans for CYPF.
• Attend and contribute to Multidisciplinary Team meetings, to discuss individual children/ young people and service in general, as required e.g. reviews, case conferences, clinics, etc.
• Promote collaborative working relationships through effective communication.
• Work therapeutically with children and young people who have complex needs and may present with mental health needs and/or behaviour that may be challenging associated with their acquired brain injury or the trauma experience.

About the role

Our People and Culture team are hiring a Payroll and Pensions Administrator to join the team to support with ensuring our staff are paid efficiently, accurately, and on time. You will play a pivotal part of the team to support with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all, coordinating effective and efficient end-to-end payroll and pensions administration, plus any additional relevant activities. You will utilise the tools and resources available to ensure we meet the needs of all our stakeholders and comply with legal matters. The role will further include:

• Taking ownership of administrative tasks in the payroll and pensions process, being the point of contact for enquiries in this area.

• Prepare, compile and submit high quality funding proposals and budgets in accordance with timetables and application criteria, with a particular focus on larger, multi-year and project funding opportunities.

We’re looking for an experienced Evaluation Manager to join our team of researchers and analysts to deliver and develop our evaluation projects, to help build an evidence-base for engineering and technology outreach activities and shape how we use this evidence to inform our own and others’ practice.

This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in designing, implementing and reporting on process and impact programme evaluations – most of which focus on young people - utilising quantitative and qualitative methodologies, conducting evidence reviews, and working collaboratively with key stakeholders. You’ll work with colleagues to embed learnings and develop advice and guidance to support the engineering outreach activity more widely.

About the role

At EngineeringUK we use evidence to make a real difference. Through research insight and robust evaluation, we work to improve the impact of our own work, as well as that of other organisations in our sector. Our aim is to make a positive difference to young people’s lives and securing the diverse engineering and technology workforce the UK needs to thrive. The research and evaluation team consists of 6 researchers and analysts who work to provide these insights.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver and develop our evaluation projects, to help build an evidence-base for engineering and technology outreach activities and to shape how we use this evidence to inform our own and others’ practice.

With support from the Head of Evaluation and Impact, you will be the operational lead on our evaluations, with responsibility for:

• critically assessing the evidence required to ascertain impact of engineering and technology outreach activities across a complex landscape, with an emphasis on groups historically underrepresented in the engineering and technology professions
• designing and managing the evaluation of our educational programmes, including the practicalities and logistics of collecting/analysing these data, and reporting findings to internal and external stakeholders
• working with colleagues to embed learning from evaluation findings into our future activities and the wider evidence base on the impact of engineering outreach activity
• developing advice and guidance on evaluation and impact measurement to support the engineering outreach community to evaluate their activity more robustly.
   

This job would ideally suit an experienced monitoring and evaluation professional interested in evaluating education programmes with a focus on increasing opportunities for young people from underrepresented groups.

Essential Skills / Competencies

• Knowledge of and experience in using evaluation techniques/practices, ideally with familiarity of education outreach programmes
• Ability to design and use quantitative and qualitative data collection tools and analyse these data using widely used analysis software (for example, SPSS, STATA, R, CAQDAS)
• Experience in undertaking literature searches and reviews, identifying relevant evidence, appraising its quality, and summarising the body of existing work
• Excellent time and project management skills, with experience working on multiple projects at once, adapting to changing priorities, and meeting hard deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to lead evaluation projects independently, from conception to dissemination
• Proactive in identifying evaluation opportunities and driving projects forward

We are looking for a strategic, impact-driven Community Programmes Manager – to lead the continued growth and development of our Community Engagement Programme and our Garden Programme in alignment with our recently launched 2030 strategy.

You will build strong relationships with supporters, be that as part of a golf club charity of the year partnership, workplace fundraising or supporting someone with a personal connection to arthritis to raise money in their local area. Developing, delivering and ultimately growing our Facebook challenges offer will be a huge focus – we have some great learnings and are now looking to take them to the next level. • Proven successful track record of planning and delivering community fundraising products (or similar) to achieve a good return on investment.

Role Requirements

• Work in collaboration with the Senior Placement Managers and multidisciplinary team to manage the child’s pathway from the time they are accepted for admission, through their care pathway and discharge.
•  Work with Senior Placement Managers and Senior Business Development & Commissioning Manager to ensure the package and contract issued to funders is appropriate for the child’s needs and is regularly reviewed to ensure the care needs.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams across school and child and family services to ensure that all clinical and contractual requirements for the child are comprehensively managed.
• Escalate complex and unresolved issues for support to ensure a positive outcome.
•  Ensure the parents/guardians, multidisciplinary team are aware pre-admission and throughout the admission of the arrangements for the admission, including length of stay and discharge plans.
• Take on the lead role for discharge coordination for children and young people accessing neurorehabilitation and step-down placements. Proactively plan discharges including liaison with multiagency teams required to take over care. Where appropriate, chairing discharge planning meetings.
