The Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub will sit alongside and compliment those provided by primary and secondary care ensuring that by working together anybody who needs a service sees the right person at the right time, through a single point of entry. The role of a Mental Health Advisor has been specifically designed to provide wellbeing support to Bexley residents accessing the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub. Working with the Director of Research, this role will have management of the clinical development process at Cure Parkinson’s. The charity supports a large treatment selection process that feeds new clinical trials seeking disease modification. This is an exciting time in Parkinson’s research and there is the opportunity to have a really meaningful impact by joining the Cure Parkinson’s team as we expand our funding schemes and initiate new ventures.

As our Clinical Research Manager, you will have a PhD in life sciences (an MD or MBSS would advantageous) and significant experience in clinical trial development. You must have a strong understanding of Parkinson’s, the biology associated with the condition, and the agents currently in development. The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a strategic and analytical Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the College’s mission to improve child health by ensuring effective financial planning, reporting, and business partnering across the organisation.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead on the annual budgeting and forecasting process, produce regular financial performance reports, and develop financial models to support key strategic decisions. Communications 

• Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s fundraising capacity and raise awareness of the issues 

• Develop brand identity for Kineara’s new charitable arm, ensuring it is consistent across all activities in the organisation, while maintaining Kineara’s overall ‘look and feel’ to ensure coherence in branding, colours, messaging, style and approach.

Fundraising

Leading national policy strategy

As Head of Policy and Public Affairs, you will work closely with the CEO to develop and execute a four-year influencing plan.  Together we’ll aim to shift local and national incentives on inclusion by 2030, which see the national trend of rising suspension and absence begin to fall. 

You will hold relationships with the Department for Education and Ofsted and advise on policy priorities ahead, such as:

• Widening the definition of inclusion beyond special needs, recognising the needs of those young people historically or currently interacting with social services

• Reducing perverse incentives for schools to alter their school roll through admissions and pupil exits

• Expectations for multi-academy trusts in capturing and analysing data on lost learning, including how it disproportionately affects different groups

• Improving local alternative provision eco-systems, to improve outcomes for young people

• National standards for inclusive school practice, at a universal and targeted level

• Professional development standards for school inclusion

Developing implementation expertise in the middle tier

In your first six months, you will advise on the internal development of a new programme for middle tier policy actors: multi-academy trust and local authority leaders.  You will support the Programme team in its design, to plan strategically for the recruitment of trusts and local authorities, and you will plan the research and influencing work which will seek to share their success nationally.

Building the evidence base

In your second six months, you will work with the CEO to build out our research function. Your influencing plan will include how The Difference can learn from the work across our multi-academy trust, local authority and internal AP pioneer partners over the next four years, to develop influential publications. Research work ahead will include publishing sector-facing publications of The Difference’s own research, carried out by our research lead and associates; alongside managing external contractors and internal colleagues to bid for and deliver aligned research disseminating our ideas.

About Working Well Trust

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are recruiting a Community Outreach & Partnerships Officer to support the delivery of the Connect to Work programme across Kingston and Sutton. This is a full-time role (35 hours per week), working Monday to Friday, with core hours of 9.00am–4.30pm. Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of three days on site per week. Evening work may be required on occasion.

You will report to the Connect to Work Operations Manager and work closely with internal teams and local stakeholders to ensure the service is well integrated and reaches residents who will benefit most.

What you’ll be doing

If you were working with us, your days would be varied, outward-facing and rooted in partnership working. You would play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships across Kingston and Sutton, working with local organisations to ensure eligible residents are identified, engaged and referred into the Connect to Work programme.

You would proactively engage with a wide range of partners, including Local Authority teams, Jobcentre Plus, health services, VCSE organisations and community groups. This would involve attending forums and partnership meetings, delivering tailored information sessions and presentations, and promoting the Connect to Work service so that referral pathways are clear, effective and aligned with contractual targets.

A central part of the role is ensuring Connect to Work is well integrated with existing local provision. You would work alongside partner teams, including co-locating where appropriate, to support warm handovers into the service and improve participant journeys. You would also identify gaps in local provision and work with internal colleagues to develop solutions that improve access and outcomes for residents.

You would manage and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders, supported by the Operations Manager and Senior Integration and Partnership Manager. This includes maintaining regular 

communication with partners, contributing to partnership action plans, and providing updates on progress, impact and service developments. You would work collaboratively with internal teams to maximise opportunities for skills development, vacancies and sustainable employment outcomes.

Alongside outreach activity, you would ensure all work is delivered in line with contract requirements, safeguarding protocols and data protection standards. You would maintain accurate records of partnership engagement and referrals, provide timely updates and reports to support service monitoring, and contribute to internal meetings, service reviews and audits. The role also includes attending supervision, appraisal, training and development activities, and acting as a positive ambassador for the organisation by embedding its values in all interactions.

The Relationship Fundraising team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals, regional businesses and groups fundraising in the community, effectively managing relationships to maximise income.

The Relationship Fundraising role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. The role will cover the country of Northern Ireland.

You will report to the Relationship Fundraising Manager and support the Head of Relationship Fundraising & Volunteering to drive the continued growth of the charity’s fundraising income in your area. You will also be required to show excellent relationship-building skills to support community partnerships and volunteer groups, driving towards agreed targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy, finance, and reporting

· Responsibility for stewardship and relationship building with supporters within the region.

· Identify and apply for ‘Charity of the Year’ partnerships with corporates in the region, account manage these relationships up to a value of £50,000 per annum and support the Partnership Development Team with national partnerships in your region.

· In liaison with the Partnership Development Managers and Partnership Officers, provide high quality account management to corporate supporters within specified geographical area and/or of relevant value.

· Keep up to date with fundraising legislation and codes of practice to be able to provide relevant advice to fundraisers.

Increasing Community Support within geographical area

As an interim Supervising Solicitor in Public Law, you will supervise and carry out CPAG’s public law legal aid cases, to benefit families and children in poverty. You will play an active role in managing CPAG’s legal practice and conduct high-profile public law litigation.

The ideal candidate will be a solicitor (E&W qualified) with experience of conducting public law litigation and legal aid (publicly funded) work. Spires was established as a response to homelessness in the late 1980s. Spires has developed into an organization that provides a range of services, including day centre style drop-ins for homeless people, a Women’s drop in, a Refugee drop in and outreach targeted at supporting Women who are sex working. Our core mission is to support homeless people into housing and to assist those who have been homeless in maintaining their accommodation.

Part 1:  The Role

This role sits within our Housing and Homelessness [H&H] team. The post holder will support with the running of our drop-ins and support a caseload of clients who will be homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Part 2: Key duties and responsibilities

Service Delivery & Support

· Welcome and engage service users in a non-judgemental, compassionate manner.

· Provide basic needs support such as food, clothing, and access to a safe space.

· Offer advice, advocacy, and signposting on housing, health services, and other support agencies.

Location: The postholder will be an employee of The Spires Centre. This post is based at

Elmfield House 5 Stockwell Mews SW9 9GX. However, the post holder will be working across Spires’ drop-ins in Lambeth, Wandsworth and Croydon.

Probation: This post is subject to a 6-month probationary period.

Notice: This post is subject to a four-week notice period.

Annual leave: The annual leave entitlement is 35 days per year pro rata, made up of eight bank and public holidays and 27 days annual leave. The 27 days annual leave is normally split between 24 ‘bookable’ days and three closure days that fall between Christmas and the New Year.
