About the Role

The Director of Programmes is a new senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the integration, effectiveness, and evidence-based delivery of Screen Share's sector-leading programmes. The role sits at the heart of the charity and will oversee the development and execution of programmatic plans that deliver our new organisational strategy. It will oversee and advance our key programme areas, including digital access, digital skills, digital connectivity and IT repair.

The postholder will be responsible for the smooth running of our charitable programmes, managing staff and ensuring our monitoring and evaluation and safeguarding is of a high quality. They will work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure a high-quality and multi-faceted support product for thousands of refugees across the UK, managing risk and budgets accordingly. They will also work closely with the Head of Outreach to ensure we are communicating our social value proposition effectively. 

The Director of Programmes will play a crucial role in translating strategic objectives into clear operational outcomes, overseeing the performance of programme managers, and leading a collaborative approach to programme delivery across the organisation. They will also deputise for the CEO, ensuring strong organisational leadership as the charity continues to grow and mature. 

The Director of Programmes will also champion the integration of lived experience leadership throughout the organisation, ensuring that the perspectives and expertise of refugees and those with lived experience of digital exclusion are embedded within programme design, delivery, decision-making and strategic direction at Screen Share. 

The postholder will also serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring that safeguarding practices are fully integrated into all programme strands and that our safeguarding process and practices are up-to-date, understood and activated in an inclusive and trauma-informed way.

The role

The Office Manager ensures all building facilities run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. They are responsible for the efficient daily operations of our offices and the building and that these are cost-efficient, environmentally conscious and proportionate for a small, not-for-profit organisation.

The Office Manager is an integral part of the Operations Team playing an important role in ensuring the smooth running and welcoming atmosphere of our offices, directly supporting both internal teams and tenants.

This is multifaceted role. The successful candidate will need to be able to think on their feet, have good time management skills and enjoy wearing more than one hat. 

Key responsibilities

Front of House / Event Management:

· Welcoming all visitors to the SoA building at Bedford Row.

· Managing the post/packages into and out of the building.

· Responsible for managing the Front of House/Operations Assistant and Groups Administrator, including day to day supervision, absence management and ongoing development.

· Responsible for managing the Events Space bookings calendar.

· Managing all events for tenants and external hire from inception to completion including catering as agreed with the client, cleaning team and room set-up of the Events Space.

· Working with the SoA Events Team for internal and member events ensuring that the logistics for room set up and cleaning are in place.

· Acts as a central point of contact for all staff for various Ops/logistics issues.

 Facilities Management:

· Maintain compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and best practise, including fire safety, COSHH, RIDDOR and DSE assessments.

· Ensure all checks, risk assessments and remedial actions are implemented in a timely manner.

· Providing health and safety training to all new joiners.

· Ensure the office maintenance plan is kept up to date and all regular maintenance/services are booked and any identified issues are resolved.

· Organise the maintenance and PAT testing of all electrical equipment.

· Fire Warden/First Aider for the ground floor (training will be arranged if required).

· Proactively ensuring the office facilities remain safe, clean, fully-equipped and operational.

· Point of contact for all staff and tenants in relation to office and building issues and queries.

· Responsible for managing office contracts, negotiating the renewal of existing and new contracts.

· Obtaining quotes for any maintenance/repairs works required and carrying out due diligence checks on all new contractors.

• To have a key role in the organisation’s sustainability policy ensuring the purchase of all office provisions considers cost and any environmental and ethical impacts.

IT Coordination:

· Liaise with external IT support providers as necessary ensuring SLAs are adhered met and effectively resolve IT issues.

· Maintain a laptop register and prepare and maintain an annual rolling plan for renewal of old equipment.

· To oversee the migration of SharePoint data to the new CRM system in 2026.

· To be involved in any IT projects that need to integrate with our office systems (O365, SharePoint and One Drive).

· To be responsible for IT support for the office laptops and office systems (windows, O365, One Drive and SharePoint) ensuring that there is a maintenance contract in place and this is reviewed on a regular basis.

You will be required to undertake any other reasonable duties to support business requirements as requested.

The purpose of the role is to support the Bishops of Manchester, Peterborough, and St Edmundsbury & Ipswich in their duties as Members of the House of Lords. The work includes research and information gathering, drafting speeches and questions, managing meetings, appointments and other events on behalf of the Bishops and such other work as they and the Head of Parliamentary Affairs may require from time to time.
The Parliamentary and Policy Researcher's priorities and tasks will be determined by the Bishops, with whom the postholder will be expected to have frequent direct contact along with their key advisers. In conjunction with their offices, the Head of Parliamentary Affairs will manage, guide and oversee the parliamentary work of the postholder.
The postholder's working time will be divided equally between the three Bishops. Flexibility in the working pattern will be required, depending on the respective requirements of each, their commitments in the House of Lords, including duty weeks.
The work of the Bishops in the House of Lords is guided by their policy and local interests, as well as their status as religious leaders with a national profile.
Policy interests:
- The Bishop of Manchester is the Convener of the Lords Spiritual. In this role, he chairs meetings of the Lords Spiritual, liaises with bodies within the House of Lords and the House of Commons, and works closely with the Parliamentary Unit at Church House. His areas of interest include housing and homelessness, crime and policing, international trade, and regional issues impacting Manchester and the North-west.
- Bishop of Peterborough's areas of interest include Children and Young People, Education, and Health and Social Care.
- Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich was the lead Bishop for Safeguarding in the National Church before translating to the diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, and remains deputy Safeguarding Lead. She also has an interest in media and justice issues.

As such the post may be well suited to someone who has particular experience of or interest in these areas of policy.
From time to time the postholder may also be called upon to add capacity to the Parliamentary Team by providing resource to other Lords Spiritual on policy areas they have become familiar with in their work for the Bishops of Manchester, Peterborough, and St Edmundsbury & Ipswich.
The postholder will need to have access to the Parliamentary Estate, so will be required to apply for a security pass sponsored by one of the employing Bishops, and will be expected to abide by the rules and codes set by Parliament that accompany the issuing of a pass. The postholder will also have access to the facilities offered to Lambeth Palace and other NCI staff, observing the responsibilities and protocols which apply to all.
The balance between parliamentary tasks and those that relate to the Bishops' diocesan roles is likely to vary depending on the parliamentary cycle.
The Parliamentary and Policy Researcher will be based with the Parliamentary Team. This is located at Lambeth Palace, London, SE1 7JU (within the Church of England's wider Faith and Public Life Team), and at Church House, Westminster, SW1P 3AZ. Senior International Programme Officer

We are recruiting a Senior International Programme Officer to lead delivery of the international nature-based solutions work, including the Thriving Forests programme and international nature awards.

Length and Salary

This is a full-time role on a two-year fixed-term contract. We have an exciting role available for a motivated and passionate leader to join the No Second Night Out (NSNO) team as Service Manager, where you will have the opportunity to lead our Staging Post team in Lewisham. The NSNO Staging Post project offers additional assessment and reconnection support to clients over a 28 day period, ensuring those at risk of rough sleeping can be directed to services suitable to their immediate, medium and longer term needs. As a Community Fundraiser, you’ll be at the heart of building and championing our volunteer community. You will work closely with local fundraising and volunteering groups, inspiring them to create meaningful activities that raise vital funds for Marie Curie. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Region, you’ll collaborate with passionate fundraising colleagues to grow and energise our volunteer network—helping new and existing volunteers feel empowered, supported, and excited to make a difference in their communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow, recruit and support volunteering and fundraising groups, building trusted relationships and nurturing an engaged, motivated volunteer community.
• Lead local delivery of flagship campaigns, including The Great Daffodil Appeal, working alongside volunteers to maximise reach and impact.
• Champion volunteering in your area, increasing community involvement through active outreach, events, and relationship-building.
• Collaborate across teams and with external partners, ensuring volunteers have what they need to thrive and succeed.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold excellent fundraising practice, safeguarding volunteers and supporters.
• Use social media and local communication channels to celebrate volunteer achievements and inspire new supporters to get involved.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience working with volunteers including recruitment, engagement, and ongoing support.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in individuals and groups.
• Strong organisational skills, including planning, prioritising and managing budgets.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using databases or CRM systems.
• A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region, including some evenings and weekends.

We're seeking two Research Grants Officer to join our Research Funds team and support the Joint Heads of Research Funds in all matters relating to the operation of grants administration.

About the role

British Heart Foundation (BHF) currently has six research funding committees: Chairs & Programme Grants Committee; Clinical Studies Committee; Fellowships Committee (Clinical); Fellowships Committee (Discovery Research); Project Grants Committee and Translational Awards Committee. 

These new Research Grants Officer role will support the work of our Fellowships Committee and Special Programmes, as well as covering the work of the other Grants Officers in relation to other committees, when required.
 
In this role you’ll deal with correspondence and address queries relating to all aspects of grants administration in a timely manner. You’ll also administer preliminary outline and full applications, provide feedback and advice to applicants, as well as facilitate and attend committee meetings, arrange interviews and prepare and distribute minutes of the meeting.

You’ll be at ease using a complex database and will provide a high level of service to senior members of the scientific community.

About you

An experienced administrator, you’ll be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, capable of working independently and producing accurate work with minimal supervision.

With excellent interpersonal skills and confidence, you’ll be able to liaise confidently and professionally with all levels of seniority.

With advanced IT skills (Microsoft Office including SharePoint) and database knowledge, you’ll preferably have previous experience servicing committees. You’ll also have previous financial experience, able to pay invoices and be involved in budgeting.

This role will manage multiple projects at once with conflicting deadlines, so excellent multi-tasking, organisational and time management skills are a must.

Customer focused, you’ll have strong analytical abilities, accuracy and attention to detail as well as excellent numeracy and literacy skills.

What could my day look like?

The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.

In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.

As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort. 

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy content and digital department and help Law Society members (solicitors) to feel supported and empowered, with the practical, expert and timely information they need to excel in their work.

You will create, edit, publish and manage high-quality, trusted and practical resource content, working closely with subject matter experts, campaign managers and senior stakeholders.

What we're looking for

You will have experience creating, editing and managing digital content for a professional audience, with a solid understanding of best practice in digital publishing, search engine optimisation and accessibility.

You are experienced using content management systems and website traffic and behavioural analytics tools.

You have strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, able to quickly form positive relationships with colleagues at all levels.
