We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Supporter Engagement Manager to join our dedicated income generation team on a 12-month, fixed-term contract.

The Supporter Engagement Manager will lead the acquisition, retention and development of individual donors through our multi-channel campaigns, ensuring growth in our donor base and engagement with our supporters. You will use data insights to optimise fundraising strategies and enhance the supporter experience.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in direct marketing and individual giving, with strong copywriting, budgeting and project management skills, and proficiency in CRM systems and data analytics. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, managing and executing the delivery of the Supporter Engagement Programme, including supporter acquisition, retention and uplift through all on- and offline direct marketing channels
• Leading fundraising initiatives such as seasonal appeals, matched funding and legacy giving
• Maintaining all supporter records on the database

Responsibilities

Day to day financial management of the organisation, including:

· Ensuring the delivery of monthly management accounts

· Proactively manage the income and expenditure of the charity advising the management team on income shortfalls and overspends on expenditure relating to unrestricted and restricted funding

FINANCE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Purpose

The Finance Manager will proactively plan, manage and oversee the financial strategy, operations, and compliance of our dynamic and growing organisation. The role contributes directly to the organisation’s strategic planning and has hands-on oversight of financial transactions, operations, compliance and reporting.  

As the Finance Manager, you will be a member of the Executive leadership team working closely with the CEO on matters of financial strategy and business development - contributing to strategic decisions and providing financial guidance.You’d also be supported by the Finance Manager Assistant and the Bookkeeper.

Main Objectives

• Provide leadership, in-depth knowledge and financial expertise to support the organisation’s strategy, business development and operations. 
• Manage the day-to-day financial operations including payroll, payments, controls and cash flow to ensure sound financial management and accuracy around all financial routines and procedures. Also ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
• Lead on and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting - working closely with the CEO.
• Lead on enhancing procedural efficiencies and streamlining in finance operations.
• Prepare statutory and management accounts. Manage the annual financial audit and implement recommendations.
• Provide and manage sound financial reporting and conduct financial analysis and financial modelling for business development.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Financial Planning

• Lead on financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, highlighting key trends, opportunities and risks. Also scenario planning and financial modelling for growth and sustainability.
• Provide sound financial advice to the CEO, Executive and Trustees also assisting with business planning and strategy and business development.

Financial Management

• Lead on and manage the annual financial audit, including preparation, responding to auditors queries and implementation of recommendations, effectively and in a timely manner. Also filling with the Charity Commission and Companies House.
• Lead on the day-to-day management of financial operations to ensure sound financial management and accuracy of all financial routines and procedures.
• Monitor performance of actuals in relation to budget, income generation targets, approved expenditure and in relation to forecast. Note, analyse and comment on variations and propose adjustments.  
• Prepare quarterly management accounts and reports for decision-making and planning.

Governance: Policies, procedures and financial controls

• Ensure compliance with all requirements and standards in respect to Insurance, Companies House, Charities Commission and HMRC.
• Proactively lead on process improvements as we grow. Includes writing, reviewing and updating finance procedures and policies, in collaboration with the CEO and Executive colleagues.
• Ensure governance documents are up to date. Including Trustees appointment and resignation records, conflict-of-interest forms, and relevant submissions to Companies House.
• Monitoring and mitigating financial risks while maintaining robust internal controls. Also manage credit control and ensure that payments are received on time.
• Ensure financial procedures, policies and reporting systems are updated as required and maintained thereafter.

Accounting

• Supervise and review accounting tasks and records processed by the bookkeeper and the Finance Manager.
• Ensure timely, up to date and accurate accounting practice including journal entries, accruals, phasing and reconciliation.
• Ensure accuracy of income and expenses allocation and coding, including deferred income and monthly reconciliations.
• Review and update coding structures and nominal coding, clearing accounts and reconciliations in collaboration with the CEO and finance colleagues.

Payments and Payroll

• Manage effectively payroll, tax and pension submissions, banking and associated procedures.   
• Ensure all payments are made, received and acknowledged in an accurate, compliant and timely manner.

Contracts Management

Support service delivery

People Management

The Role

We have recently launched our new CRM based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and are looking for a CRM Manager to join an end user Charity in Central London. The Charity has a direct front end CRM user base of around 30 staff. It also has a power platforms bespoke portal for between 64-120 regional staff to login to, who contribute to the membership programme, creating new memberships and managing the renewals process which happens each year. It also has a power portals Donation portal which directly integrates to Dynamics 365 and Business central. This role is to support our internal staff (30) and external Staff (120) with the day to day activities ensuring business processes are fit for purpose and seek out possible improvements in the long term roadmap.

Key Functional Areas

• Data architecture– Lead on the review and structure of data on CRM.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

Job Title: Recovery Worker (Night Shifts)

Location: In service based in Camberwell, SE5 7HQ (Queens Road Peckham is a 23 minute walk or a 13 minute ride on the 36, 136, 171 and 436 and Elephant and Castle station is a 8 minute ride on the 343) 

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Sunday on a rolling rota which covers 21:00 - 08:00. Rotas will typically be 2 nights on, 2 nights off, 3 nights on, then 2 nights off. Bank holiday working permitted if rota falls on this day. You may also be required to work flexibly in the week to attend day meetings and training sessions.

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team which aims to deliver support to male residents aged between 18 and 65. You will be at the heart of providing person centred support in a residential setting to our residents who have mental health issues, often alongside drug and alcohol dependencies. You will provide tailored support to help our residents to improve their quality of life, and achieve their personal goals through providing flexible support. The service offers our residents two years supported living with 24 hour medium to high levels of support to help residents maintain stability in the community and reduce hospital admissions. 

You will work directly with our residents to support them to overcome their personal barriers and challenges to achieve positive outcomes. You will do this through one to one support sessions, group sessions and activities, and general support with their daily living.

The role further includes:

• Supporting residents with taking their correct medication
• Carrying out various welfare checks on residents during the night
• Health and safety tasks, including reporting repairs and maintenance
• Keeping support plans up to date using our online portal
• Plan and deliver various activities within the service to gain a sense of community and belonging which could include movie nights, cooking nights, and game nights. You are welcome to bring your own ideas to bring residents together to achieve positive outcomes.

Role Summary 

One in seven babies is born premature or sick and needing care on a neonatal unit – this isn’t what most parents expect for their baby.

Bliss is the UK’s leading national charity for babies born premature or sick, and we are looking for a Baby Charter Programme Lead to join our enthusiastic and passionate team.
 

• Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of 1 day per week worked in our London Bridge office
• Salary: £38,910 FTE (£26,681 per annum actual salary)

• Terms: 24 hours per week, 12 month fixed term.

Role Details

We are looking for someone with a passion to improve healthcare for babies born premature or sick, through the leadership of Bliss’ major practice improvement programme, the Bliss Baby Charter.

The Baby Charter is a national accreditation programme being undertaken by most neonatal units in the UK. It aims to improve outcomes for babies born premature or sick by encouraging neonatal healthcare professionals to involve parents in the care of their baby. This is known as Family Integrated Care, or FICare.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: 

•Strong experience of planning and delivery of services for clients, customers, service-users or beneficiaries.
•Strong understanding of supportive line management, helping direct reports to achieve their objectives, to learn and develop in their roles
•Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
•Strong understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in the context of service delivery
•Ability to work using own initiative, to work cooperatively as part of a team, and collaboratively across teams

You will work closely with programme managers across the business to identify marketing needs and opportunities, while working with the wider MarComms department to develop and deliver marketing campaigns, advise on the most effective delivery channels, and propose ways of enhancing the Forces Employment Charity presence.​

You’ll be responsible for handling operational management, which includes acting as the Deputy Director for the organisation. The NVR practitioner will work with the parent/care giver predominantly, other members of the family who are impacted or experiencing the abuse from their sibling or grandchild, and if willing, with the young person causing harm.

Specialist Child to Parent Violence delivery:

• Advocate for the rights of children to be respected, heard and protected.
•  Deliver sessions for parents using Non Violent Resistance (NVR) techniques and child and family members, applying a systematic family approach to managing violence and abuse in the home.
• Adhere to the relevant programme manuals for parents as well as for the children and young people.
• Use motivational interviewing techniques and strength based approaches to engage with families.
• Support parents and young people to learn skills and knowledge to deal with behaviour in a non-violenct way, using NVR and trauma informed CBT methods.
•  Work closely with other statutory and voluntary professionals to ensure appropriate steps are taken to protect where there is an imminent risk to another person. Apply RISE’s escalation procedures.
• Be responsible and accountable for working with Team leader and/or Service Manager and Advanced practitioner to ensure risk is reviewed on a weekly basis.
•  Attend monthly risk review and practice development meetings with Team leader or Advanced practitioner to ensure effective risk management procedures are applied at all times.
• Attend training sessions to enhance their delivery and understanding of NVR.
• Be personally accountable for the completion of assessments, pre and post questionnaires, and End of Intervention reports, and ensure they are to a high standard.
• Provide support and consultancy to other professionals to ensure appropriateness of referrals  and improve understanding on NVR and CBT techniques and working with families (parents and children and young people.
•  Ensure effective planning for the delivery of each intervention in advance of the session.
• Partake and pass all relevant NVR and other child, young people  and parent centred training to undertake this specialist work.
• Deliver community training as required.

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide support to the CEO and Board of Trustees, as well as adding administrative capacity and office management function to the Staff Team. This is an integral role that requires a diligent, detail oriented individual, with a passion for the vision of Prison Fellowship.

Our mission is to show Christ's love to people in prison by coming alongside them and supporting them. We run a number of programmes, including Angel Tree, Sycamore Tree, Letter Link and Pastoral Care.

This position is 35 hours per week across five days. This role is based in our office in London (SW1). We are open to discussions about flexibility, including hybrid working.
