A key part of the new FEA strategy 'Neighbourhood to National' is our work with Combined Authorities, who we believe are an incredible unit for change for children and young people’s outcomes and we are now hiring three Heads of Collaboration Partnership to lead on this work employed by the FEA and working alongside a MCA Partnership Lead in each area. They will provide expert leadership to establish deep partnerships and enable cross-sector collaboration.

You’ll report to our Director of Place-Based Collaboration, within our expanding Place-Based team, drawing on expertise from across the FEA. You will also work with a dedicated lead for the Partnership in the Combined Authority. You will play a key role in ensuring that: learning and evaluation are bedded into the approaches; youth engagement is a key factor driving the work, and what is being uncovered in MCAs is feeding into policy change.

We are looking for a professional who is highly collaborative, committed to systems change, comfortable with working through ambiguity, sees the incredible potential for MCAs, and will be passionate about long-lasting change for children and young people.

 Key Responsibilities

Your Day-to-Day

• Manage and monitor outsourced Hard FM (M&E, compliance testing, maintenance) and Soft FM (cleaning, security, waste) contracts.
• Carry out regular site visits and inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and presentation standards are consistently met.
• Oversee helpdesk/ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution of issues across sites.
• Support statutory compliance, including fire safety, water hygiene, gas safety, and environmental management.
• Lead contract reviews, procurement processes, and service provider performance evaluations.
• Produce dashboards, KPI reports, and analysis to track FM performance and inform decision-making.

Qualifications, Training and Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience managing FM services across a multi-site estate with outsourced delivery models.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
• Strong knowledge of facilities operations, statutory compliance, and health & safety legislation.
• Experience managing supplier performance and contract delivery.
• Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel between sites as required.

Desirable:

• Experience in the charity, public sector, or social housing environment.
• Familiarity with CAFM/helpdesk systems.
• IWFM qualification
• Awareness of sustainability and energy efficiency practices in FM.

CARE International UK is looking for a Programme Officer to provide administrative support within our Programme and Policy Department.

We are now recruiting for a Lead Coach in Islington - an outstanding opportunity to work as part of a local church to deliver the Spear Programme.

You’ll be working with the local church to manage the delivery of Resurgo's award-winning Spear Programme. Over the last 20 years, Spear has supported more than 11,000 young people across the UK with the work-ready skills and mindset they need to succeed in employment, no matter the challenges they face. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.

Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]

• Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
• Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture, and attitudes in the training room.
• Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.

Delivery of Spear Career [20%]

• Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees.

Training the Asssistant Coach [10%]

• Contributing towards the training and developing of the Assistant Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback.

Trainee recruitment [10%]

• Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics.

Continuous professional development

• Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and supporting the Church Partnerships Managers with overall team training and development.

Personal qualities we're looking for:

Practice Development Officer

The Role

The organisation supports local areas to use evidence to improve their services and outcomes for children and families. The Practice Development Officer will be part of a team who work with local leaders to support their decision making about how to increase the availability of services and approaches which have evidence of improving child outcomes.

As Practice Development Officer, you will support work that helps local services for children and families use evidence more effectively across Family Hubs, Family Help, and statutory social work. You will contribute to projects aligned with Foundations’ priority areas, including domestic abuse, supporting parenting, strengthening family networks and relationships for care experienced children. 

Your tasks will include organising and coordinating activities that support service improvement, designing and delivering learning sessions to build skills and confidence in using evidence, supporting the generation of new evidence to understand what works, and working with national organisations to promote the wider use of evidence in practice.

About You

We are looking for someone with an in-depth understanding of UK policy, legislation and practice relating to children’s services, including how this responds to the needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.

You will have experience of:

• Practice in children’s social work and/or early intervention services
• Co-ordinating projects for service improvement or practice development in a relevant sector, for example local authority children’s services, health, or NHS
• Translating complex information into practical messages, advice, and tools.

Platform’s North Sea Workers’ Transition project is building towards a managed phase-out of oil and gas extraction in the UK North Sea. We’re organising for an energy industry that protects the rights and livelihoods of the current oil and gas workforce and directs wealth back to communities, especially those impacted by industrial change.

We have been working with offshore oil and gas workers and their unions for 5+ years. In 2023, we published a groundbreaking set of 10 demands for a just energy transition away from fossil fuels co-created with offshore workers: Our Power: offshore workers’ demands for a just energy transition. Since publishing the report we have launched public advocacy and media campaigns based on these demands - working alongside industrial trade unions, national and grassroots climate groups, and oil and gas workers. We coordinate a first-of-its-kind coalition of industrial unions and climate groups working together on national worker transition demands.

As living conditions continue to decline and the climate crisis deepens, we are looking for a motivated and creative campaigner, who is able to lead the next stage of the project, and who has a strong understanding of anti-oppression and energy justice.

About the role

The Worker Transition Campaigns Manager will work closely with our Worker Organiser and Public and Community Ownership Campaigner, supported by our Organising and Advocacy Lead, Research Lead and Communications Lead.

Stepping Stones is a small, local charity based in Southwark, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live more connected, creative and fulfilling lives. Each week, we run a range of inclusive activities, including music, dance, art, gardening, drama and digital skills. Many of our learners face social isolation, anxiety, or barriers to taking part in mainstream services. Stepping Stones provides a vital bridge of a consistent community space where people are encouraged, included, and celebrated. 

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive person to join us as our new Activities and Volunteer Coordinator. This is a hands-on, people-focused role. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our weekly sessions running smoothly, supporting facilitators, welcoming learners, managing session admin and planning community events like our summer show and Christmas party. You’ll also take the lead on developing our volunteer programme by recruiting, inducting and supporting the amazing people who give their time to help make Stepping Stones such a special place.
