We are delighted to be supporting a charitable trust dedicated to furthering education in varying sectors. They are currently seeking a Temporary Bursary Administrator to join their team during their busiest period of the year for the next 3-months. This is a part-time role (3-4 days per week) based in central London, with hybrid working available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail to support the delivery of bursaries that make a real difference to students across the UK.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Managing inboxes and responding to enquiries from applicants, parents, and institutions.
  • Reviewing and processing bursary applications, including eligibility checks and document verification.
  • Supporting students and families in using the online grant portal.
  • Preparing award letters, processing payments, and liaising with universities to resolve queries.
  • Tracking continuing student progress and coordinating recurring payments.

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using online systems.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Previous office-based experience is essential; experience in a grant-giving or education setting is desirable.
