About The Role

Do you want to make a real difference while building a rewarding career in care and support?

We're looking for compassionate, reliable and motivated individuals to join our team at Chichester Road is a CQC-registered care home and support residents to live with dignity, independence and wellbeing.

As a Care Support Worker, you'll provide practical, emotional and personal care support to residents, helping them work towards their goals and maintain their wellbeing. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering person-centred care and support.
  • Supporting residents with daily living activities and personal care where required. 
  • Building positive relationships and encouraging independence. 
  • Supporting residents to access healthcare and other services. 
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns appropriately. 
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting risk management. 
  • Working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs. 
  • Is caring, resilient and non-judgemental.
  • Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team. 
  • Can remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding, dignity and inclusion.

This role requires flexibility and the postholder will be expected to work on a rota that includes nights, weekends and bank holidays.
