In this role, you'll focus on audit. You'll be the cornerstone of trust and credibility that gives stakeholders confidence in our financial integrity. Drawing on your audit background, you'll lead our audit activities end-to-end, prepare comprehensive audit deliverables, including consolidated financial statements and manage relationships with external auditors. You'll ensure our accounting records comply with Charities SORP/FRS102, company law and charity law. About you:
You're a qualified accountant with an audit background who brings deep knowledge of audit processes. You understand that robust financial controls build the credibility and trust that allows a charity to maximise its impact. You're comfortable preparing audit deliverables and technical accounting adjustments, and you can explain complex regulations clearly to help colleagues across the organisation make informed decisions.

You'll have:

- A CCAB qualification achieved through education, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge and experience that evidences your understanding of the role's requirements.
- Significant audit experience - ideally from practice or an in-house audit function.

About Migrateful

Migrateful is an award-winning social enterprise and registered charity founded in 2017. Our mission is to support refugees and migrants facing barriers to employment and integration in the UK by offering training, paid work, and a supportive community.

About the Role

The Operations Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of Migrateful’s cookery classes and the overall effectiveness of our operations. 

You’ll play the important role of supporting Facilitators by creating practical guides, coordinating training and skills-sharing sessions, gathering feedback, and maintaining up-to-date documentation such as health and safety records. 

Alongside this, you’ll help manage other key areas of Operations like responding to customer and volunteer queries, coordinating volunteers for public and corporate classes, and supporting process improvements around our use of Salesforce.

A key deliverable of this role is overseeing our invoicing process. The role focuses on providing high-quality support to individuals in mental health crisis. You will assist clients during their stay, helping to reduce immediate distress and develop plans to prevent future crises. This includes working collaboratively with statutory and voluntary mental health services to ensure effective, multi-agency support. You bring strong experience supporting individuals with mental health and dual diagnosis needs, demonstrating a compassionate and professional approach to helping people in distress. You understand the complexities of mental health conditions, including crisis management, and know how to communicate sensitively and effectively to ensure that individuals are supported with dignity, respect, and empathy.

Your knowledge of relevant mental health legislation, including the Care Programme Approach (CPA), enables you to provide informed and compliant support, while your commitment to the principles of recovery ensures that your practice remains person-centred, empowering, and strengths-based.

You are confident working both independently and collaboratively, contributing effectively to team goals while taking initiative in managing your own workload. You also bring experience in inducting and supporting peer staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.

With experience working alongside statutory services such as the NHS, you understand the demands of front-line service delivery and the importance of integrated, multi-agency collaboration. You maintain a strong awareness of health and safety standards and safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both clients and colleagues.

Technically proficient, you are comfortable using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and online platforms to record information accurately, communicate effectively, and manage administrative tasks. Your good literacy and numeracy skills allow you to produce clear, professional written correspondence and maintain accurate records.

Flexible and reliable, you are prepared to work Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays, to ensure continuous, high-quality support for service users. Your approach combines professionalism, empathy, and resilience—qualities that enable you to deliver excellent care in demanding and dynamic environments.

You will be working on a shift rota Monday to Sunday to include every other weekend 39 hours a week

The Deputy Contract Manager is responsible for the operational management of our specialist customer focused support services across the service. Working in partnership with stakeholders, external agencies and our Commissioning Team, you lead your Team to offer high quality support to customers to maintain their tenancies and empower people to live their best lives and move to independence. Responsible for Safeguarding our customers, you will promote sector best practice and legislative compliance to keep our customers safe within their environment.

The role provides direct line management, leadership, coaching and support to Support Workers, Specialist Support Workers and Night Support Workers, ensuring compliance with current legislation, contractual requirements financial regulations and Look Ahead Policy and Procedures.

This role deputises for the Service Manager and/or Area Service Manager when required.

The shift pattern for this role involves Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, with 1 Sunday per month.

What you'll bring:

Essential:

Minimum 3 years' experience of supporting vulnerable adults
GCSEs in English and Maths (grade A-C)

Field Studies Council Epping Forest is situated in the heart of Epping Forest, an area of around 2,400 hectares of wood-pasture stretching from Manor Park in East London to just north of Epping in Essex.

Two thirds of the Forest have been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Our purpose built, fully accessible centre has six classrooms, and associated facilities, with direct access into our teaching sites which include woodland, grassland, heath, and river.
